When it comes to styling, the G80 M3's design is gorgeous, the M4 not so much. The F82 M4 looks better for M4's but G series design language suits the M3 so good.
When they first came out I thought the same thing but after seeing them next to each other I think the m4 looks faster and more exotic plus once u do csl lasers on the back it's rear looks so much better.
I loved it from the first picture already....BMW's new cars are just 😮 wow. When buying M3/4/5 NEVER spec with sunroof always carbon roof. Great video. 👍

Good video! I got the carbon bucket seats and im 6,3... i love the seats. Best seats ever, drove 4,5 hour straight, without any stop, felt great after. The standard seats looks and feels a little M340 to me. On my long drive i got 28,3 MPG (0,83liter/10km) of my M3 Touring.
I've had a E92 M3, a F82 M4C and now my G82 M4C, for about 9 months. It is by far and above the best M car I've ever owned. It is superior in every way to its distant cousins except the E92 and its V8 soundtrack. I also loved the front from the begging and have found that most of the people complaining were on forums and not IRL. Congrats on year one btw. Solid choice going with Kies...he's really built a nice business there on the east coast.
People treating this car like some supercar that cannot be daily driven b/c increased mileage will somehow devalue it is insane. It is not rare or exclusive. M3s (all generations) depreciate like any normal everyday car. I have owned all of them and I know. Go drive it and enjoy it. Save that "precious" mentality for something that actually could appreciate if not driven, like a Porsche GT car or Ferrari, etc.
I don’t people many miles on this car because I have two other cars. A 330i and an X5. I’d rather not drive the M3 is boring commuting scenarios in bumper to bumper traffic. I only really drive the M3 now when I can really enjoy it. Like mountain drives or cruises with friends. I don’t intentionally try to keep the miles down. I’m just blessed enough to have options

With everything going to electric, a manual transmission g80 in pristine condition with low miles is going to be worth a small fortune in 10-15 years. Anyone commenting on the CF buckets should state height and weight. For my 6' 170 lbs frame, they're perfect. No issues getting in and out which is 100% attributed to my leg length and frame size. Watching others get in and out that are shorter is where those challenges arise. I've sat in my buckets for 3-4 hours of HARD driving without issue. Concerning engine note, I added the AA EL mid pipe and its as it should've been from the factory. Also added the CS tranny tune which 100% fixed the more pronounced shifting issue. Still silky smooth in commuter mode but hyper aggro, tire-shredding shifting in D3.
Hey ayyman you mentioned you have extended leather package but I believe you have full leather package. BMW marketing can be a little confusing. Full and extended are 2 different things. Extended is the standard interior. Full adds the lower dash, door tops, dash and the knee pad with the competition.

I cannot wrap my head on any other colour than Dravit Grey with black rims and carbon detail for an M3. Black is also cool but hard to maintain, just like a white interior. 😅
Iv own one since April, put aprox. 3000km kms on it incl. trip to Nürburgring (2000km) and its been a huge dissapointment for me. Dont get me wrong, the car is great, it does everything right, but its just boring, because u dont feel connected as much as iv felt in f80/82 (had them both) and e92 m3 (which was the best of them all
Saying this is a supercar sedan isn't a stupid thing to say at all my friend, in fact I would argue you are 100% correct. I think the M5 focuses more on GT than Supercar driving dynamics. Do you think I should get a g20 m340i, go stage 2, see how I like it or go straight to a G80 ? Money isn't that big of a factor, but since both of those cars are my dream cars I think it would be better to goal for the G80 but get the m340.
Why the Competition edition and not a manual? I am just deciding on which to go with and am curious why you chose the competition model. I am tempted to go with the manual because I drive a manual now and I like that experience. But you lose the AWD and that's one of the things I would use actually. That one hurts.
Manual all day. When cars are modern everyone wants the newest automatics. As it ages the manuals command huge premiums. rowing gears makes sports cars more fun and engaging.
I would say its a perfect daily driver if you delete the carbon bucket seats. Unless you worry too much about gas then you should have gotten a Prirus to start off. Love the G80.
Relative value… this car will hold value and arguably will go up in value one day considering it’s the last fully ICE M3 that also comes in a manual. Btw, I do understand how depreciation works, I’m a CPA :)

Question about tunes. If the car is still under warranty, can you set it back to stock without the ecu telling on you when you took it to the shop? While adding bolt ons usually doesn’t cause an issue, once you mess with the ECU they typically just start voiding the warranty regardless of the issue you’re having I’ve found. I had an evo with a tune I’d set back to stock whenever I had to take it to the shop but that was 20 years ago so wasn’t sure if that still works

Yeah…no. Not feeling the large screen for the cluster gauge and infotainment system. BMW should’ve stuck with the traditional design. I mean they could’ve still do away with the digital gauges, but make it look and feel like an actual cluster gauge. Feels lazy of them to just slap a screen on top of the dash. Looks atrocious and not as creative.
