Hi Georgia, love your dress! Well done to you and Mum for your solution to the wardrobe malfunction! If you do make this dress again, maybe you could consider adding a seam allowance to the back bodice, back skirt and back facing, so that you can add a zip to the back. This would help to spot problems earlier and might be easier to fix if you need to. And yes, I have had wardrobe malfunctions before. Now I always travel with an emergency kit needle and thread and safety pins.
