I'm back again for another weekly instalment :)

I am so glad you are cancer free. My older sister has fighting that dreaded cancer, three years. You have so many wonderful plans, that retro fabric, wow!!

Cara, it is so interesting to see your style evolving. It is getting more and more sophisticated and modern I think. Not only in clothes, but also your slightly different haircut (which I adore)and the glasses that suit you so well. The all cream outfit looks devine!! ❤️❤️❤️

The cream is wonderful and the "no print" fabrics make you look so young! Great choices. Most of the prints i see are so very aging. Just my opinion, but the solids are perfect.

Love the monotone look Cara, so elegant 😃 You’ve got me thinking . I have a decent remnant of cream cable knit effect there and very short legs, so perhaps I can squeeeeeze a pair of Derwent trousers out of it 🤔 Cosy loungewear is the way to go at this time of year 💞💞

You wear simple lines so elegantly! The cream tones on today’s outfit are flattering for sure. When I see unusual prints ready to sew, I’m not sure they will work, but you end up with style that looks amazing on you. It must be an artistic gift….

Cara, my head is spinning thinking about your plans, delicious fabrics, and how absolutely happy you look. It's taken me a week to get my house back in order after visiting my sisters. Today I had big plans to start sewing but like you mentioned in the vlog, I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the things I do want to make, and honestly need to make, for the autumn and winter. I was also feeling guilty because now I need to prepare my front and back yard for winter, so I ventured outdoors to start. 6 hours and many sore muscles later, I wish I'd sewn something instead! 😏😆 I'm dying to see the retro fabric made up. It is stunning and so me! Love the long cream cardigan too. It would look amazing with the other fabric you bought in France. I asked Angela to say hi to you during her call with you and Sarah, but it had already happened. I'm sure it was lots of fun and giggles. Enjoy your week and happy sewing!
Wow Rita you are one busy lady! Please be careful out in the yard, it’s easy to get stuck in and then realise you’ve don’t too much. Then you can’t do anything at all! I absolutely love Making plans, I cut out 3 things last night and finished the Atelier Jupe pattern, the fabric is Devine! Lots of snuggly outfits heading my way. We had so much fun on our call, Angela Sarah and I. I’m so lucky that sewing has enabled so many wonderful friends into my life, yourself included ❤️
@@sosewmad You are so right about doing too much! I keep fighting the whole aging thing, but yesterday I realized I can't do as much anymore. I can't wait to see the Atelier Jupe dress! They are a designer I haven't tried. So, hmm, maybe I should! Will you be sewing gifts for the holidays? I always seem to have a list as long as Santa's naughty or nice list, but then run out of time and end up nipping to the stores. I want to say the friendship we've struck up has been priceless to me, Cara. I thank you for the time, the inspiration, the joy and for you including me as well. 💛🌺🥂
Love your fabrics and plans! For the johnny collar dress, Would you consider making the placket and collar out of a solid color fabric? Thinking that the bold print would conceal the lovely details in the neckline, also pattern matching could be tricky. Love these Sunday morning chats!

Wow Tennessee that’s amazing! Ponte Roma makes great tops and trousers or a mid to lightweight jersey knit is also excellent, enjoy!

Lots of plans and lovely fabric! I just had new kitchen appliances installed and have been reorganizing, so I’m haven’t had much time to sew. Looks like another hurricane is heading our way midweek. Ugh! I have several things I want to get sewn and the stormy weather will be good for getting started-hopefully won’t have power outages. Happy sewing, Cara.
