@@SarahEdenOfficial Sure about that? I think you think of the "Zither". But there seem to be a lot of other influences i. e. the harp from Hungary etc...
@@thedandelion157 It‘s called „Hackbrett“ here and is similar to the „Zither“ which is another traditional instrument, too. But probably it’s known in other European countries, too and I don’t know where it originally comes from...
I hoped someone would do this eventually! I don't know what instruments the soundtrack uses but it sounds like there are hammered dulcimers. Nicely done!
Yes, they actually used a hammered dulcimer for the soundtrack. That's what made me fell in love with this movie. They wanted the movie to have a central Europa feel and chose the hammered dulcimer because it's often used in folk music in the Alp region.
Yes, I still play and I still learn new songs. But life has been very busy lately and it breakes my heart that I don't have as much time for music as I used to. I have plans for new videas, just need to find the time to make them.
Gorgeous ..... Just Gorgeous

Beautiful. Who is the builder of this triple strung instrument?
It was built by Harald Teller.

Nice. Thanks for the quick response (it's rare to get replies from creators on videos all the way from 2015)! Btw, do you still play the dulcimer?
