Maybe this is the real reason for leaving the EU, we just can't handle snow and they don't want us because of all the whining. Thou it happens every year.
Everybody piling on Britain for making an issue about snow. It's the South of England. They aren't used to having lots of snow; they don't have the equipment nor the skills to deal with it, because it's so rare that you need them over there.
aaah gotta love the BBC "London is by far the busiet aviation hub in the world" just..... not by flights, or seats, or passengers, or size.... or even on the top 20 list.... 2021 london(LHR) had 17 million... DUBAI 29 mill, atlanta 75 mill, Chengdu 40 mill..
To be fair, they didn't say London Heathrow. They were also including the other London airports. I'm not saying that would push it up to 75 million but statistics usually have a lot of caveats and complexities, so I doubt the numbers are directly comparable. As a thirty second mention on any news channel you are not going to get much of that complexity. They probably did what you probably did and spent five minutes on google.
Hope those in UK & EU keep warm this winter, in spite of high energy prices, fortunately winter has starting coming in mid December, and not earlier in November.
How many times do we hear this? Other countries regularly deal with far more snow and colder temperatures, without making a song and dance about it. The UK ought to be deeply ashamed and embarrassed about the fuss it makes time and time again.

@@Zander7.5 you're not even saying anything I said was wrong you're just baselessly accusing me of not understanding entirely separate avenues of scientific study.

But spring always comes.
Let's remember it's getting colder because it's getting warmer according to the modern logic.
And here i am dreaming, to see snow atleast once in my life
OMG!!!!! It is snowing during WINTER!!!!!! What a surprise!!!!! We are all dead!!!!
For once after a very long time, we managed to get snow BEFORE Christmas, not near the end of Jan... And I am hoping it will snow some more here in London!
Whole Europe live with snow & cold...
Get use to it!!!!
Hello how are you doing..?
SNOW IS NATURE'S " FAIRY DUST "...SHE SPRINKLE'S IT ABOUT AND MAKES EVERYTHING MAGICAL... MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!!.🙏⛄❄️🌲🌟🎁💕🇬🇧
Truly one of the moment of all times
I work in a hotel at Gatwick, it was terrifying to see a tsunami of people flood into the hotel. Aprox 260 ppl in the span of 3 hours
I'M SURE THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS WERE VERY HAPPY TO BE IN YOUR COSY HOTEL......much better than being tossed around in rubber boats.
@@jamesbowskill362 if they came by plane how are the illegal?

Can I ask which hotel if you do not mind?
I am from Sri Lanka who never see snow.
I live in the Netherlands and I love winters yet I find it's over very fast.
In other news - it's winter.
Crazy times.. snow in winter!!
You so lucky having such cold weather, unfortunately here in Algeria there's no cold, no rains , not even clouds
Refreshing to see some coldER weather after the blistering, inhumane heat of summer.
Meanwhile in Finland: Expected to get 6 to 8 inches of snow this afternoon to southern parts and Finnair is expeting to see some delays. Airport will keep running and typical delays are 15-20 mins. Any longer is due to destination airports not accepting the flights. Trains, buses, cars, lorries etc. will run normally. Schools will remain open and
People aren't used to winters these days ...
Exactly
ITs like that when you get little older..when i was teen i would play outside whole day on -15 Celsius ,we even regularly play football in snow ..today is 0 degrees and 43 year old me is already shaking from cold
@@dzonikg Exactly!
I remember when London would be gritted pre-snow, and there were grit boxes placed at the end of every few roads... Such simple solutions and no 24/7 fear pawn over what has always been normal seasonal weather.
*fear porn.
No snow in Reykjavík Iceland yet this winter. Only frost and clear skies.
Only the British media make a big deal of the weather. Here in Denmark householders clear the paths as required by law and councils clear the roads. It is not really a subject of conversation.
Me seeing this chaos knowing I'm moving from a snowless country to England: 😳😃
Hey how are you doing today?
What a hell is wrong with people THIS IS WINTER!!! What you expect shorts and beaches???
Snow in the SE of England means travel chaos and wall to wall news. Snow in Scotland means oh, it’s winter!
Snow in winter??? This has to be a major sign of global warming!!
It's laughable Winter comes every year and yet every year there is never anything in place to cope with it. Meanwhile there are plenty of other countries in the world that also have snow, ice, fog and life goes on as normal.
Like in Australia in summer when the 'TV' people fall apart when high temps around in summer. !!!!
It is normal for Australia to get 36-46 degrees any where in mainland Australia. In northern Australia you get temp's in the 30's plus mega humidity.
Called Australian Summer.
In the earlier part of the 1980's in country NSW (until I moved) I remember temps in the 40's all time & extremely dry too.
WOw snow in winter who would guess..in my town when i was young in 80s we had snow 2 months constatly ,we played in snow every day ..last 10 years would be snow like 7 days and that is it
I'm 75yrs old and this whole business of people choosing between food and heating is pathetic . When I was a child we had snow and ice every year.Only one room had a fire and ice would form on the inside of the windows , the two mile walk to and from school wasn't fun . We had very little money and used to pick twigs and branches for the fire . Get on with it and check the elderly neighbours .
Having activists setting fields on fire around London in a heatwave to create a talking point seems such a distant memory.
It's December so... Let it snow let it snow
European countries deal with snow very well
European countries deal with snow every year.
Maybe this is the real reason for leaving the EU, we just can't handle snow and they don't want us because of all the whining. Thou it happens every year.
They want our £s well enough, and we just keep getting their troubles
Meanwhile me in Belfast:
*No snow. Just Frost and ice*
Snow forces you to take it all in and slow down.
No you gotta speed up because now you have the extra chore of snow removal to add to the list. Lol
I wish some media experts and politicians would do something about this damned global warming. We're all sweltering here in the UK at the moment.
Here in Brazil i never see a snowworm .
In Brazil you eat worms!? 🤔
Probably a typo, but it did conjure up Dune-style images of giant and slightly mysterious and terrible snow worms :D
I pray for your safety from these snowworms...
That's funny. For a second there, I thought I saw chicken little running around.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas just like the ones I used to know...merry Xmas to everybody 🍾🥂

Just another typical day.
Everybody piling on Britain for making an issue about snow. It's the South of England. They aren't used to having lots of snow; they don't have the equipment nor the skills to deal with it, because it's so rare that you need them over there.
Hey how are you doing today?
aaah gotta love the BBC "London is by far the busiet aviation hub in the world"
just..... not by flights, or seats, or passengers, or size.... or even on the top 20 list....
Snow is racist I need a safe space I feel uncomfortable
Who'd believe it, snow in winter
Yes that's what happens in winter. 🙄
No, the climate hasn’t changed…it’s winter! Get over it. Enjoy!
So where is this global warming?

How many times do we hear this? Other countries regularly deal with far more snow and colder temperatures, without making a song and dance about it. The UK ought to be deeply ashamed and embarrassed about the fuss it makes time and time again.
Depresses the life out of me. Summer can’t come quick enough!😢
kids : " it's snow 😃"

I am in my 70s, alone, and I love the snow. Winter is a gorgeous time of year. Every home looks cozy in the snow and the scenery is magical. I will have some Irish Cream with coffee and shovel my driveway and walks.
"across Europe" - talk 99% of the time about UK
Just had and are having a snowstorm here in Estonia too. Many people on the western islands don't have electricity. People have been advised to not take their cars out if not necassery and if possible stay at home because they will get in the way of cleaning the streets.
UK is not even Europe. At this point, their yearly temperature is more that of tropics.
Nice and snowy lol 😂
England can never cope with a drop of snow ❄️ Scotland can.
We need a huge blizzard to land on Putins home.
