Thank you to my viewers as my channel has past 50k subscribers much faster than I thought making this video a little late.. over 50,600 subscribers by the time I uploaded this episode!
The amplifier used is a US made Carvin DCM2000

A big thank you to everyone who donated loudspeakers for this event as well as my neighbours even though not close they still thought someone was running a jackhammer in my back yard because of the mechanical noise off some off the drivers :D

I have been a fan for probably over 6 years now. This blowout proves my point on why i have been a fan. It is oddly satisfying to see cheap speakers getting destroyed and blown up.

The Last King it requiers at least a 2000-3500 watt amplifier even on the more cheaper ones, the nightshade and X series has to be pushed over 7500 to blow in smoke

I know Infinity is a good brand. I owned a pair of Infinity Beta 40s and they were really good. I hated the way they looked but they sounded amazing. Shame to see a pair in that condition.

not by this time period. infinity made some really great stuff in the 70's and early 80's. even then, their "high end" was absolute garbage, shit where they would pop something like 70 tweeters and 20 mid ranges in one oversized huge box that served no purpose as all the components were isolated from said box, and a second box that was like 12 12 inches packed frame to frame in a box they barely fit in. if your dad has The Infinity Reference System, hes an idiot who threw money at something because he was told it sounded good. it sounds alright, but dosent hold a candle to their mid end gear from the 70's and early 80's, or honestly pretty much any mid end speakers. if it was 6k$, it was likely this over priced worthless thng: www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/tas-legacy-the-infinity-reference-standard-irs-loudspeaker/
