Thanks for posting! What a Philippo!! Isn't it a shame that the camerawork is so 'artistic'? I would have loved to see a bit more of Boris and less of the orchestra and conductor… Still, it's better to have this than nothing at all.

@@ilboss7541 non ho detto niente del genere.... queste sono parole che stai dicendo tu non io.....IO SONO RESPONSABILE DI QUELLO CHE DICO NON DI QUELLO CHE CAPISCI!!... detto ciò..... ramey non ha per niente un colore chiaro, ma sta' chiaro con la parola, dizione, è un'altra cosa....da cantante, quale sono, ti dico, come peraltro già detto bel mio primo commento, che cristof aveva una voce cavernosa e calda ma non era un maestro in quanto a musicalità.... la sua era una voce "difficile" che rendeva molto in alcuni ruoli in altri molto meno

Superb singing, but truly lousy conducting. Christoff clearly wants more time to make his points, and this guy keeps trying to push him into a quicker tempo. What's the hurry, I wonder? An urgent need to empty his bladder?
Tempi are always a contentious matter - but I was finding the initial section very slow. I guess soloist and conductor should sort these things out before the performance!

Samuel Ramey aveva una voce piccolina e chiara, oltre che brutta...
