This is my 2nd or 3rd time watching these. We love them.
I recommend this series Frances , 98.7% of the episodes are really good 👌🏻
I love these westerns. Reminds me of my childhood. I'm not an historian so I don't get entangled in all the detail. Frankie is a hoot and Matt has more testosterone than Mr. Bean. LOL
Watching end enjoying from European Union.
Frankie adds alot to these shows.
Quantril was just paying the redlegs back in kind for the murdered farmers in Missouri.

Just finished reading Three Years Under Quantrill. Made me feel very sad for all those young men who never got a chance to begin a normal life.
They didnt dress like that either,they wernt issued with uniform. And they paroled and released a lot of the men they detained.
P- ahh read the confederate guarillas wore union uniforms when they were going on missions or behind yankee lines. Quantrill was on his way to kill Lincoln with jessee jame s and Younger boys dressed in union but made a mistake and were cauht out in kentuky

That book was a great read.
This is a great Western series but there are inaccuracies in this episode. Quantrill, though, did die on 6 June 1865 in a military hospital. Mary Castle was lovely and slender. Too bad that she drank too much.

Grown men arguing over Quantrill seems so silly. Since the guy has been dead now, for over a 100 yrs ! Thanks Pizza flix ,enjoy all these very much.

William (Charlie) Quantrell was an insane person who wanted to use the war for his personal glory and financial gain and failed. Just cannot understand why he was in a hospital being treated rather than the firing squad or a very very public hanging.
