I felt bad for the guest. Qui Qui was trying to one up her guest and make her feel like she didn't get good deals. She did great on prices! Plus I loved her outfit more.
I've never seen this ep before and I know it's meant to be a fun competition but QuiQui seems really different here...like a little bitchy? It's so odd. QuiQui has always been so sweet!
qui qui is being so sensitive and competitive just because the girl got cheap stuff and nice cute stuff. honestly i think that qui qui outfit is soooo 80s not modern
I love how Sharon gets influenced by Qiu Qiu's Singaporean accent and then starts doing it herself, but then when's she's talking by herself she sound American lol
I don't think Sharon was being 'fake'. Sometimes accents can slightly change subconsciously depending on who you are talking to & their accent. I find my accent change when I go back to Indonesia or Singapore too :S
Oh good grief people. I've lived overseas for close to 10 years and yet when I'm back in Sg, the Singlish accent returns...we can't help it, Sg was where we first picked up English and so the pronunciation and accent will always be there....other than in Sg, i sound perfectly North American (not about to name the country.)
Sorry Qiu Qiu, I like you cause you're really funny and real but your fashion sense is still really bad. I don't know what you've been reading/watching to get your fashion inspiration... Maybe you can watch other US/Australian youtuber to get some new information instead of only following the Bugis Street trend cause honestly most shops don't really care what they're selling, they just want to make money out of cheaper clothes. I used to shop at Bugis too but perhaps you can try finding inspired stuff? Some fashion trend are still okay so maybe you could chose a better one? Honestly, f21/H&M nowadays got alot more affordable stuff, Bugis i not always the answer.
Guys, she didn't say she's from US, why are you all so sensitive -.-" To be honest, both of them seemed really comfortable with each other and that's what I like, :)
im singaporean! and i feel that for the same amount, you can get better quality stuff and in greater quantity in the US. The singapore sale just doesn't cut it. It also appears so in the video.
haha, i always thought the stuffs qiuqiu buys looks very cheap skate and this is exceptionally true in this episode as compared to what the other girl bought. i will NEVER wear them. however i'm still her fan and watches her video for her great sense of humour.
haha honestly i think Qiu Qiu was being decently kind and fun. i think that was her own way on getting close to people.i'd actually feel more awkward if someone i just knew gets too nice. full of compliments, no jokes at all.
Sharon should talk like a typical Singaporean would so it wouldn't be so hard for her to fake her accent . So what if she lives in the US ,you're still not an American . Funny why people would wanna try talking like an American when their original accent is already so cute especially the way qiu qiu talk . Qiu qiu you're so original and bubbly and I love watching your videos ! :)
i think it's because she is already used to the American accent. I'm a Filipino living in the U.S. and changing accents just happens especially when you talk to different people. When I'm talking to my Filipino friends Filipino accent just comes out for some reason.
when i read the comments.. i thought "wahh..really qiuqiu being really rude?? *sad" then i watched the video until the end and i was like "what rudeness?" there is no rudeness at all! haha i thought she was being friendly and so honest! haha
totally enjoyed this video but hope it did not give a false impression though...i'm Singaporean residing in US for 6 yrs, i hv to say, Singapore confirm, chop stamp, has plenty of cheap n nice stuffs compared to US, juz a 10 mins video can't prove that at all, everytime i go back SG i juz wanna go eating n shopping!!! ask any Singaporean living in US n u wld probably get the same reaction.
She is the quintessential overseas student - picks up foreign accent, uses it when speaking, especially to people from her country of origin but lets slip into her natural accent when caught off-guard or is excited about something. Not picking on her, just making an observation :)
My family speaks with an accent, but I don't have one. This is true for everyone because you are supposed to speak with the accent in the environment you grew up in. So unless if there is one city/town where it is practically almost all Malaysians/Singaporeans, then it's impossible for her to grow up in the USA having that accent. Accents don't just slip out by accident.
How was she being rude? That is her sense of humor, she wasn't intending to be malicious. You people need to grow some thick skin and stop taking every little thing to heart.
All the stuff from U.S were awesomeeeeeee! I wanna live there! The stuff Qiu Qiu got weren't very nice, I think the only thing I would wear is the jacket.
I didn't find Qiu Qiu rude at all! She was just joking around and teasing Sharon. If anything she was a bit competitive but even that seemed to be just jokes.
if you think this person was being harsh, i suggest you cut down on using the internet. it's for your own good, no threats or harshness here. and yes, they do have the right to speak that way to you. we all do.
People shouldn't be saying how her style or the stuff she bought sucks. Because you guys are Singaporean you support the Singaporens girl's stuff because you are used to the fashion in Singapore. In American, fashion isn't the same in Singapore. Different type of countries have their own fashion. So you shouldn't judge :).
America has the best offers and sales, it increases competition and the economy, and I bet the American stuff were also better material no matter where they were made
uberllolloll Actually it does. If someone is short, their shoe size should be in proportion to their height. I never said anything about a man's package size... Where the fuck did you get that from?
Dumb bitches... Thanks! But as i have said, it's usually common for someone of 150 CM to have a smaller shoe size than someone of 175 CM. It's common proportion among humans.
@eternallyyours24 I think she's of Singaporean origin? Like maybe she migrated to the US a while ago or smth. Her Singaporean accent is too strong for a true ABC!
I felt bad for the guest. Qui Qui was trying to one up her guest and make her feel like she didn't get good deals. She did great on prices! Plus I loved her outfit more.
me too .... i thot the pieces that she chose are better
that sudden change of accent tho
I've never seen this ep before and I know it's meant to be a fun competition but QuiQui seems really different here...like a little bitchy? It's so odd. QuiQui has always been so sweet!
qui qui is being so sensitive and competitive just because the girl got cheap stuff and nice cute stuff. honestly i think that qui qui outfit is soooo 80s not modern
this time qiu qiu lost. her things are more ex and uglier.... and also sharon has a half american accent and half singaporean accent
+KS Cheong I think Sharon is half asian and btw Qiu Qiu's style was vintagy
Theres to many things on qiuqiu! All the prints and accessories ruin the outfit.I liked sharons one alot.
Qiuqiu is kinda bad. Sharon gave her a nice skirt but she just gave sharon a belt and a ring
Yeah :( The belt and the ring was hideous too.
Ikr :((( DAMN BAD :((
Yah agreed
Thought I was the only one who noticed
Love Qiu Qiu's personality so much! I miss her.. please come back again, Budget Barbie
She legit does waitressing now. I miss watching these videos
I love how Sharon gets influenced by Qiu Qiu's Singaporean accent and then starts doing it herself, but then when's she's talking by herself she sound American lol
the floral skirt is so nice (the USA girl)
I don't think Sharon was being 'fake'. Sometimes accents can slightly change subconsciously depending on who you are talking to & their accent. I find my accent change when I go back to Indonesia or Singapore too :S
“Noones feet are this big” *has hard time finding shoes in 41 cuz its most common size!*
Hahaha so cute! They acted like sisters ^^
I like your styles but you really overshadowed your guest and it was awkward. Let others shine too, its not all about you. I feel bad for your friend.
Sharon did way better BY A MILE! Qiu qiu's outfit at the end was felt mismatched.
the polka dot shirt that Sharon bought is the shirt that 'Phebe from the thundermans show in Nickelodeon show wore in one of the episode's😃😃
Sorry Qiu Qiu, I like you cause you're really funny and real but your fashion sense is still really bad. I don't know what you've been reading/watching to get your fashion inspiration... +tan jamie yeah but leopard print... these hats... the. jewellery... its just plain ugly maybe she should collaborate more often
I agree w you. Her fashion sense is just so bad
+jing9yi9 i agree ..her sense of fashion can be quite 'aunty'...
Well if you look at her Instagram now (@bongqiuqiu) she definitely improved
obviously she can only spend $50 think before you speak
one of the funniest budget barbie eps for sure!
Hahaha Qui Qui clapping for the dress, "it's branded?... O.O" LOL
the "usa" girl confirm singaporean la😂
c
is feel like the us girl is from singapore
This episode was awesome! Well, every episode is awesome, but they looked like they were having so much fun together! ^^
Weren't the flip flops size 40? And isn't qiuqiu's size 40? she said so afterwards AHHAHA LOL
maybe us has a different sizing chart or smth...
khxqi heqi that is correct the US, UK, CAD, AND ASIAN countries have different sizing charts for clothing and shoes.
QuiQui's style is terriable......The guest is sooooo much better....cheapskate(QuiQui) So childish
In Europe 80% of the women's shoe size is 40 or 38. (including me)
Dina Abbasova I'm 39 😢😢
Does target items ship to Singapore?
Guys, she didn't say she's from US, why are you all so sensitive -.-" To be honest, both of them seemed really comfortable with each other and that's what I like, :)
Agree she even said singlish though others might be able to say tat too but she said ot in a very singaporean way
Target is branded?
i actually like how sharon pulled the look tgt @ 05:21 definitely can see myself wearing that to class~
Well she did not admit she is frommmmmmmm. USA . She shop and ship there guys . Who knows she is a singaporean who live in USA ?
LipBalm 82 she lives in USA but she is a Singaporean
im singaporean! and i feel that for the same amount, you can get better quality stuff and in greater quantity in the US. The singapore sale just doesn't cut it. It also appears so in the video.

I don't think QiuQiu was being rude, she's actually pretty friendly.. I think she's just teasing her.. :D
rubi shoes are rm10 in malaysia. cotton on brand right?
hmmm whats the price is sd after that?
The intro you is prettier than the you while doing the vid. I'm not saying you're not pretty, just saying you're prettier in intro and at the end😂😂👏🏻
Goodwill have ridiculously cheap and nice stuff. Qiuqiu would love it there.
haha honestly i think Qiu Qiu was being decently kind and fun. i think that was her own way on getting close to people.i'd actually feel more awkward if someone i just knew gets too nice. full of compliments, no jokes at all.
i would say they are friends =) they seem so comfortable with each other..
qiu qiu is so adorable!!!
i really wanted the skirt but well Qiu Qiu deserves it :)
From target.com of the make ups why cant it deliver to singapore?? It did nt state there..
OMG THOSE SHOES ARE MY SIZEEEEE!!!! I wantttt....!!!
Sharon's style is WAY better than Qui Qui, because Qui Qui's style is horrible
I think Qiu Qiu is trying to be friendly and funny ?
i think it's because she is already used to the American accent. I'm a Filipino living in the U.S. and changing accents just happens especially when you talk to different people. When I'm talking to my Filipino friends Filipino accent just comes out for some reason.
when i read the comments.. i thought "wahh..really qiuqiu being really rude?? *sad" then i watched the video until the end and i was like "what rudeness?" there is no rudeness at all! haha i thought she was being friendly and so honest! haha
Qiuqiu is really adorable and pretty!
My feet size are like 41 or 42 tho I can hardly buy any nice shoes outside :(
Omg i feel you
Haha, this episode was hillarious! Love you, Qiuqiu!
They are so cute!^_^
totally enjoyed this video but hope it did not give a false impression though...i'm Singaporean residing in US for 6 yrs, i hv to say, Singapore confirm, chop stamp, has plenty of cheap n nice stuffs compared to US, juz a 10 mins video can't prove that at all, everytime i go back SG i juz wanna go eating n shopping!!! ask any Singaporean living in US n u wld probably get the same reaction.
Obviously they are friends...that's how I treat my friends, too....LOL.
Did she ordered the stuff online? Can she provide the link?
I think that Qiu Qiu's outfit is good. o__o :)
She is the quintessential overseas student - picks up foreign accent, uses it when speaking, especially to people from her country of origin but lets slip into her natural accent when caught off-guard or is excited about something. Not picking on her, just making an observation :)

hahaha omgosh the US girl's stuff are like so much better in both style and value. But i still love qiuqiu.
I feel that qiu qiu talks like Xiaxue . Like the "One la"!
What kohls and Walmart does Sharon shop at??? Lmfao there are no such deals here in NY 😂
Personal opinion I love Qiu Qiu fashion! :D
You two really made my day with the cheerful & fun conversation hehehe!
She also said she doesn't have a job, then later told Sharon not to steal her Budget Barbie job. haha!
Should have budget barbies from all around the world >
How was she being rude? That is her sense of humor, she wasn't intending to be malicious. You people need to grow some thick skin and stop taking every little thing to heart.
All the stuff from U.S were awesomeeeeeee! I wanna live there! The stuff Qiu Qiu got weren't very nice, I think the only thing I would wear is the jacket.
I agree, if Im talking to people with an accent, I will adapt my speech to match theirs
haha I live in the US, these stores are super common I didn't even know there were such cheap things
HAHAAH Qiu Qiu so cuteee
I didn't find Qiu Qiu rude at all! She was just joking around and teasing Sharon. If anything she was a bit competitive but even that seemed to be just jokes.
I think the cutting and also its american size. so maybe its diff?
Personally I feel that QQ understands her style very well and she knows how to dress herself even with the ugly clothes
agreed.
Sophia J Maheson xdg(¥¥'
She obviously faked her accent because later on in the video her original Singaporean accent kinda leaked out
She could be lacking it out because she has been staying in Singapore or maybe she's from the USA stating in SG
Or maybe she lived in the US and DEVELOPED the accent and when she comes back her sg accent also came back with her. Stop being so judgmental
hahah they are so cute together!
if you think this person was being harsh, i suggest you cut down on using the internet. it's for your own good, no threats or harshness here. and yes, they do have the right to speak that way to you. we all do.

Yeah honestly the skirt was a lot better then the cheap looking ring and belt. Qiu Qiu should have given her something better..
Which size is the flip flop
i liked that skirt inside short it is brilliant for a paranoid like me :)
You know what I just noticed?? at 6:20 they're "bitching" about size 40 shoes but then at 7:47 Qiu Qiu says she has a size 40 herself!! @.@ what now?!
omg Sharon came all the way from USA to Singapore and she only got the ring and the belt?
Wow USA has so many nice stuff !
Guys, Qiu Qiu is just being cute by being competitive lol (:
She's Singaporean studying in America, so she knows a bit more, and shops there. Please la.
Sharon is so nice but qiu qiu is so mean this week
America has the best offers and sales, it increases competition and the economy, and I bet the American stuff were also better material no matter where they were made
If QiuQiu's shoe size is 40, then she is at least 165CM, right? I'm shoe size 40 and i'm 171CM
She's actually 173cm according to the Internet
Selina Zhang Si Qee I said that she is at least 165CM for her shoe size, but thank you for giving me her height!
shoe size has no relation to a persons height or a mans package size, thanks for coming out, twit !!
uberllolloll Actually it does.
It's common proportion among humans.
err... I thought ur name was Ang Chiew Ting and not Bong Qiu Qiu
Koh Lay Hong That's her nickname (Bong Qiu Qui)
Lol she's not being rude... I think she's just hyper and competitive XD
ahah yeah she sounded american for the first two minutes and then her singaporean accent came out ahah
if the american girl says she is Jackie Chan's daughter, I would seriously believe D:
its like him but with a wig on >_>
looks like sharon was originally from singapore/malaysia because her previous accent came out when qui qui started speaking LOL
@eternallyyours24
I think she's of Singaporean origin? Like maybe she migrated to the US a while ago or smth. Her Singaporean accent is too strong for a true ABC!
Agree! But what does ABC mean? Tnx
Ugh why is qiu qiu so....this week:P
Ummm what happened to qiu qiu
I liked the romper.
no Qui Qui didn't say the size 40 shoes were huge the other girl did
yay! i'm size 40 and i'm 10!hooray!
I really like qiuqiu's bag
