the L80 seems like its working good iam going to be trying one of them out in next day or so here i been useing the 60 amp controllers the cheap ones that worked good also of the past 4 years but now to buy some real deal controllers like off ebay there are so many selling off fake 10 amp or 30 amp controllers and making fake stickers on the saying there 60 amp's just got in to it with a ebay seller today fun fun but yes iam hope the true L80 80 amp one that comes in is real even if it only dose push like your was 35 to 40 amp really that good and big thing is there is no fan on them or moving parts remember moving parts wear out (fans) very good video here my friend have a nice day
Please don't try them -- maybe good for a startup project or training and also for low PV profiles below 150W PVs with less than 35v Open circuit voltage. I have used like 5 of them -- so get this from me -- if you are thinking of using this for a big project, don't waste your money. check my other videos and buy the other types i am now using. I have invested over $25000 doing research and testing on solar energy systems.
Pls I am sorry for late reply....I would generally advise to buy something more reliable in terms of capacity and reliance that to waste money on this -- but if you are a new starter and you just want to experiment with this -- please go ahead -- ensure open circuit voltage of you panel is not above 48v. if you are buying the L80 designed for 80amps -- it is not really 80amps but 25 to 30amps..... Also to be able to charge battery effectively if you are using a 24v bank configuration -- ensure that the battery bank capacity is less than 5 kWh
thank you, i have the plain L labeled one and it's supposed to be 60A also, thanks for showing yours

Is this truly mppt or just pwm?
Hi. How many panels can that handle? What the total watt and is the wiring of the panel series or parallel

Wish we could hear the audio of this video. It’s to quiet to hear.
