Sorry for the late reply - but I am sure what you mean by voltage protector and whether if this is for backup battery DC or the load side AC -- my general advise is to have fuses and breakers for both AC and DC side -- Also most importantly to use solar ATS to protect your battery from going below 50%
Does the voltage protector trip the inverter onces is going to overload
