Watching Matthew lillard thriving again is a warming thing. I'm struggling to find many actors who have gone as far as Matthew who are so easily recognizable but are not cast more often. Funny thing is to this day i'm still explaining to film buff friends who I know matt's work yet they don't know who he is lol. Matt needs far more recognition than he has for what he has done. the only problem i have with the movie adaptaion is how does the springlocks work with the helmet of the suit if its not connected? hmm?
I think one of the great things conveyed here is at 4:55 when he tosses Mike across a room like its nothing (along with the fact two grown adults were totally helpless against him even with a gun) is just how terrifying the last moments of those kids must have been. He is taking his time and reveling in what he is doing and with the amplified strength of the suit, I can't imagine how those kids suffered at his hands.

Maybe Garrett was the son of his ex and her new husband so he didn't care, and as he degenerated further into psychopathy he tried to erase any and all remnants of his wife's family including his own biological son. Although we will have to wait and find out.

I have been following Fnaf since 2015 and 2016. The movie is definitely an average movie. There are questionable parts of the script. The horror dosage is very low. It's a big mistake to make the movie PG-13. It deserves the score on IMDb.
I love how Scott wasn't really supposed to end up with FNAF and he did anyway plus the fact that Scott himself is nothing like FNAF and trolls rather than is dark. And the fact that William Afton makes such a good villian in the most unique way I've literally ever seen, covers my emptiness.

Many people complain about Afton's little screentime in the movie and it's logical, considering the importance of his character to the story. He wasn't really that relevant in terms of screentime in the games either, regardless of his weight on the lore. It helps with his mysterious aura and makes his actual appearances all the more noteworthy.
Was the "catch you on the flip side, hopefully" a pun foreshadowing Mike trying to stun him and turn on the lights? It's a common way to say goodbye, so it can go unnoticed as foreshadowing if you don't know what will happen, does this while reflecting on how Afton ultimately ends up dying, and it makes it almost humerous when you notice the narrative word play.
