Great choice with the alloy spire. I’m partial to alloy frames and I’ve only heard great things about Transition.
I am too, and with the current bike market, I definitely didn't want to risk having to warranty a cracked carbon frame.
@@TheShredist I couldn’t agree more. That’s one of the reasons why I went with an alloy GT Force over the new carbon one
@@TheShredist my canyon frame is cracked and it’s been 5 out of 7 weeks before I get a answer on what there gonna do. Getting a Marin alpine trail after I get done messing with the canyon
@@bikingwithryan5968 Carbon? Which model?
@@TheShredist thats the best choice you can make, I had to wait over a year for a carbon frame a snapped. Back on alloy now
Impressed by the camera work and editing quality. Great content and vibes !
Nice build video, usually I get bored watching these and turn them off about 3 minutes in. This I watched completely. The chain link for the valve core tool was cool.
Love that you're showing the pain after the Cushcore install...
🤣
That sigh of relief when you finally get the tire around the Cush core. So relateable
Can’t believe I’ve been here since 5k!
Very nice ride! Totally dig the colour scheme. Upping the game on the videography and editing, super good quality, brother! Can't wait to see you rip some trails on this bad boy 👍👍
Great build! Finally a realistic build without the load of AXS and top end gear.
Love the choice! I’ve been on an alloy sentinel for about two years and love it. Transition makes great bikes!
I could watch videos like that all day long
you are a genius for shell removal
That spring/lower combo - killer dude. Nicely done.
Beautifully shot bike build. This totally reminds me of my new bike build. Get a new frame use all of the old parts I have laying around plus a couple of new pieces.
Beautiful!!
Stepping up the production game! Nice video!
I just bought a beautifully specced Spire for my 10 year old. So far, she's shredding faster than she ever has! I'm on a Patrol myself.
Nice job on the video, nice to have them like this on occasion.
Was a nice change of pace to my usual, I enjoyed editing this one a ton.
7:41 those cone washers goes on top of the caliper under the regular washer. Good job on the assembly and great vid altogether. Congrats on the bike and great to see you back in the game..
Needed the extra spacers to make the e bike brakes work on this setup. Works great!
@@TheShredist seems odd. Front spacer used in rear? If it works it works. I won't bother you any further. 😁
Its just how the old avid codes are mounted from the look of it. 👍
Love the thought and effort which went into filming this. Would love to also listen to a follow-up episode explaining why you chose the components you did, and how they may a difference to the way the bike feels and handles. If I had a wad of cash to spend on a high end bike, I wouldn't know where to start to order "off menu" and build something like this.
Best build video! sweet bike of course!
Real world built kit on that frame. Thanks for making excellent videos like this!
Recently got an Alloy NX Spire myself. The bike shreds. The Spire will live up to your name😝🤟
Wheel setup was so satisfying to watch ...great bike
Came back from my first snowboard trip to a new video; LFG so stoked love to see the building
Great Video! Love the build!
Hands down best instructional Cushcore install video yet!
Beauty bike! Great choice!
Yes!! Welcome to TR! Great video too
This is the perfect lazy Sunday morning video
that's a sick build!!!
The best silent film of them all.
Good damn that was a well put together video
Can’t wait to see it in action. Cool video style too
Duuuude, so stoked to see u on a spire. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
Finally! A bike video☺️
Sick bike! This makes me miss my blue DVO fork something fierce.
Welcome to the alloy Spire club, amazing bike you are gonna love it!
Love the vids keep em coming
One of the best bike builds I have watched to date! I like bike builds but they are normally to marketing or too detailed - you nailed it
Love these videos man!
Great video! Nice bike! Looking forwardcto see you shred on this rug coming season!
Love that DVO'S COLORS
unreal build mate cant wait to see some vids of it being shredded, looks like that thing will fly!
That's my absolute dream bike, even the colorway is my favorite one. Congratulations mate, hope one day i could ride a proper mtb.
One of the best bike builds I've ever watched, great video. Love the mix of new/used parts, and such a nice frame/fork combo
If you did this solo, this must’ve taken an eternity! Bravo!! Again, congrats on the bike!
Sick looking bike!
Always top!
Really cool bike dude. And I really like the background music of choice. 🤙
Absolutely nothing wrong with riding a bike made of metal!!👍🏻👍🏻
Nice video! It has some Alvin Zhou vibes going on
Turned out dope! Congrats!
2:37 hmm that’s a neat trick. I keep loosing valve core removers. Thnx
Love the idea of using a piece of chain for valve core tool. Will need to remember that if I ever misplace the tool that came with my cushcore insert
I've used the same link for 5 years, definitely holds up better than the cheap plastic things!
Great vid! Loved the style, not to mention the tips and tricks and hacks
Clean Spire! Love it, no extra bling bling setup 🤘🏼
That was an amazing build video.
Sick bike and one of the best build videos I‘ve seen!
Yo just got the spire too! Got to say u made the best possible choice. Can’t wait to see more vids of you shredding it
Loving the silver, black and DVO actual blue! (None of that baby blue for me) Thank you for showing the steps some skip, such as wire push through after routing, how oil to bleed, etc.
Just built up one of these myself!
That was super satisfying to watch. Hopefully it treats you well :)
That is one sick build! Great video too!
Bike looks absolutely sickk cant wait to see the rides itll take you on.
And I'll definitely be using a chain link instead of a spoke wrench for valve cores now lol
The chain link trick is probably my best contribution to the bike world lol
That was an epiphany to me also 😁
Great content .Keep up the good work man
Heck yeah! Awesome to see you hopping on that Transition action as well. Loving the Sentinel. Stoked to see how your new Spire treats you 🤘
I can watch bike build videos all day 😊. Nice edit and solid choices. I can’t wait to see the on-trail shots👊🏻
Awesome shots the whole way through, but the pumped up audio of the things clinking and clanging was by far what kept me watching til the end. Great looking build. Good call on the decals to change up the color slightly. 😍
Oh weird, I actually didn't boost the audio levels, but ill take note of that for next time!
@@TheShredist I’m usually not recording hot enough so I was probably projecting. 🤷♂️😂
@@B1KER lol. I watched it back and the tools in the start are a little loud. I usually apply a compressor to my audio along with other stuff in my preset, so that got left off.
love your videos and your editing style, great work! keep doing you
that is a sweet bike
I don't smoke, but I think I want a cigarette after watching that. One of the coolest videos I've seen you put up.
And maybe some burbon on the rocks lol
@@TheShredist you certainly looked like you could use a drink after setting up that cush core
@@danielspicer4938 😂 definitely
Nicely done on the build and the edit. It had a very nice Gee Milner Dream Build vibe with all the shots, music, and no voice over.....Looking forward to see you racing it this year.
I’ve got a carbon sentinel with the same suspension and it’s amazing. Happy riding
I've drooled over the mustard yellow sentinels since they dropped. Such a beautiful bike!
Great video! And Sick Bike!
Awesome! Looking forward to some amazing riding content.
Beautiful video, beautiful bike 👏🏼
I picked up a spire a few weeks ago. You won’t be disappointed. Wish I could have found the raw alloy color though. Beautiful bike. Can’t wait to see you ride it.
Looks awesome!
Very cool build video.
You should cover up the orange on the tires and make then white
Nice work ... I watched twice 😁
Its always hard to install schwalbe tyres i'm trying to avoid them at all cost.. Great bike!
Add some Cushcore to that and you have a nightmare!
Love that you have been rocking the DVO for so long now. Just got my Jade X tuned for the wrecker and really missing my DVO fork. Running a lyrik ultimate right now but just not as happy with the feel as the DVO. Sweet bike and setup!
DVO is definitely hard to beat, I've had the same fork on 3 bikes now lol.
@@TheShredist I was seriously thinking about swapping them out before I sold the other. Now I regret it. Either swapping to DVO again or going to try the push ACS3 conversation on the RS
Dvo Is absolutely amazing I've just built up a meta tr with jade x and oynx and couldn't be happier with the feel of it
@@TheShredist I've got a Jade X to put on my SPire when it comes, did you have it tuned for the bike or anything?
Nope! Just threw on my sized linear spring and its pretty great!
Mind blown about how you took out the valve core 🤯🤯🤯, well put together vid 🤙🏼
Its a good trick!
Glad to see the choice of alloy i just don’t see it enough even though It’s stunning
Funny how you loosen the valve inner core. There’s a great tool for that, but this seems to work pretty fine.
Bro that bike looks GORGEOUS!! Loved the satisfaction of the build And great video Bro!! Waiting to see you do a review/ride video!!
I got one chill ride on it and now winter has come back 😂😭🥶
@@TheShredist Oh! Sad to hear that! But how did it ride on that chill ride?
Amazing. Caught off guard by how bottomless the suspension was but how playful the bike was on the trail. It's going to be fun to get to know this bike. 🤘
@@TheShredist Great to hear that the bike is really playful and bottomless out on the trail!!
Pretty sure that was the Gerber Swagger knife you used. My absolute favorite knife of all time.
It is! Bought it on a whim and it lives in my pocket permanently now lol.
Like that you covered the orange frame decals, looks soooooo much better. Did you just cut out some white vinyl to the right shape?
Stikrd hooked me up actually. You could cut it yourself for the shapes, but the spire logo would be hard to do by hand haha
Sick choice! Stoked to see how she rides?
Very exciting videos 👍👍👍
Seriously high quality video through and through this one 👀👌
The bike looks really really clean and SO rad! I've had a red bike for 3+ years and still love it, but I do long a bit for something like this with just a few splashes of color. Will probably be another 3 years of red first though.
Thanks man! I love the raw colorway. I felt like the kashima highlights took away from how it should look. I have some black accents for it if I get tired of the white!
@@TheShredist I never would have thought about the possibility to cancel out the orange bit it really did improve the clean look, looks mega!!
I knew it would be a transition based on how the top tube lines up with the seat stays like on a hardtail.
great vid. the color of the suspension though.i guess love it or heat it.
I use the garbage can stand method when putting on tires, too! They're a bitch with cush core, need that popper tool, looks handy!
Maaan so jelly. I want a spire but no where near me has them. Oh well maybe next year 😂
It was definitely a long wait lol
@@TheShredist I bet. Bike looks sick. Can't wait to see how it rides. it's gonna be sooo nice on the downhills.
SH*T this was a fun build to watch, living viciously since I didn’t get to build mine
Smoking Hot! and thanks for using parts that don’t get a lot of air time
Siiick
Damn that bike is pretty
I'm pretty happy how it turned out!
