- My bullion dealer sees a mad rush to precious metals as our banking system fails. Silver and gold are a MUST with the failures of Silicon Valley Bank, and Signature Bank. In this video I discuss with Tim the mistrust of the government and the banks. The FDIC, Treasury, and President are all promising to print currency to make all depositors whole, and it's causing a mad rush into metals and the gold and silver spot price to spike up. I also chat with several precious metals stackers who are buying large amounts of silver and gold from Tim Marschner of The Coin and Stamp Shop to protect their wealth from declining purchasing power. My Great Grandfather did not trust a bank. His depression experience made him that way. In a nut shell he said trust what you can hold in your hand.
I used to work in a bank, and I always worried about the elderly who would cash their monthly checks then walk out WITH CASH. They were ripe for crime, and I never understood why they did that. Now that I'm older and wiser, I definitely get it.

I have been telling my family about gold and silver for the past 6years. And THIS, collapse for the same amount of time. Only got 1 of them to prepare. What can I say I'm more of a hermit, not a politician.

I would argue there is enough gold and silver to back all the currencies by valuing gold and silver to equal the currencies.

There is most certainly enough gold to supply the liquidity needs of today, you would just have to value every troy ounce of gold higher. Also, take into account that under gold you would be reducing the excess liquidity that shouldn't have been created to begin with in a gold standard system. Also, don't forget that the gold supply increases at an average of 2% every year.

Tim's shop is so well stocked I can't believe it. Our local shop just has a few one ounce buffalo rounds and some overpriced numismatic coins. Gold shows up about once a month and is gone the next day. I would go broke at Tim's.
If you do a search you will find some shop that runs product. We have one good one close by.

This is real folks! My parents are in their late 60s and my dad in non ambulatory due to ms. Worked their butts off for 45 years to have a good life. They now rely on social programs to survive. Fed now is the next step for them to “ease care”. They have already had to put their financial lives in the governments hands which was a complete undressing of their private affairs. If they want to continue care without being completely drained of retirement and stripped of a life of comfort in their own homes here is the next step. It is disturbing to see how government help has become control of your every decision. Pray long and hard for folks like this. This is what steady steps they are taking to control every aspect of our lives. Thank you Yankee and Tim for being voices for us and guiding us through these times to give us the courage and knowledge to begin to gain our freedoms back.

@@Deltron6060 they invested lost most of it in 2008 gained some back and lost it again in 2017. Then to receive in home healthcare they had to cash in all retirement to my mother to receive assistance. A lot of which went straight to pm’s
Jim Rickards says there's always enough gold to back the dollar. Its just that the price of an ounce of gold, denominated in dollars, would have to be priced much higher. If I remember correctly, Rickards says that if you take total M2 at a 40% backing, gold would have to be priced at $15,000 / ounce. Sounds crazy but if you look at what the price of an ounce of gold was Weimar Germany, priced in German currency, or say, the price of gold in Zimbabwe, Lebanon, Argentina, and so on, it makes sense. Mike Maloney calls gold and silver "unobtanium & unaffordium if/when the world debt-based system implodes.
I have made this argument with Tim dozens of times.
I went to my local Coin store this Saturday, and there was zero silver bullion left. The Guy that owns it said they sell out as soon as it comes in. I bought 6 Silver Eagles just to buy some silver. It is going to get crazy.
Yankee! You work so hard to keep your identity a secret. Careful when you admire a beauty like those shiny bars. The first thing one of my own kids said when seeing silver was the surprise at how smooth and reflective it is. Like a mirror!

I always hate when people incorrectly say "there is not enough gold & silver to back a currency". It is a function of price. There is enough gold & silver, you just have to raise it's price high enough!

They don't tie the dollar to gold/silver so they can print all that they want...
You don't even have enough ounces to give one oz to every person on this planet. So no, you cant back a currency with current levels. The price isnt the issue, its the amount of ounces.
@@michaelfranks341 you can't back all the increasingly worthless currency, no! But if the currency supply was reduced to realistic levels it could be backed under a fractional basis but then all you did was turn back the clock, if the same people are in charge of the money supply they will start the inflation process anew. Digital gold could be achieved through encryption and there would be no need for the banks and corrupt governments.
Tim said he hasn't heard of any politicians who are against the CBDC.

I'm big into eBay, and silver dollars are selling for more than I have seen in the last 10 years.
I don't trust ebay especially large purchases.
You really need to be careful on ebay. My identity was stolen, the thief opened a store on ebay and was selling bad coins on eBay, and I knew nothing about it. You never know who you are dealing with.
Make sure you verify the authenticity of everything you buy. Where ever you buy.
How much are you seeing for cull peace and morgan dollars?
@@BENSTACKIN365 I've seen wore out and holed silver dollars selling for $25, way over melt. I used to be able to get common silver dollars in very nice condition for good deals, not right now...I actually gave up bidding on them because commons seem to be selling for $35.

Don't worry Tim I've been clearing out my cash since 2020 and haven't stopped at least I was smart enough to get more checking accounts with other Banks so that I can transfer certain amounts out and not get flagged for making big withdrawals frequently
Um, bank accounts in the US are tied to an SSN -- in an attempt to prevent bad things.
Dont get caught "structuring" your xfers. Its apparently illegal to withdraw your OWN money.

Gov Krisi Noem has spoke out against the digital currency and called it out when the feds tried to insert language about it into new banking policy for her state. She has not signed that agreement and is loudly against it. Other governers in the US should be doing the same....
Advice that's worth it's weight in gold. Don't ever think it's any different across the pond.
It seems to me a bank is only needed for:
paying bills
getting a loan
its no longer a place to save or is safe

Just as an FYI, about what Tim said about Europe. But we europeans are vary of the bank situation and don't want a digital traceble currency. And there are stackers here. We are 4 at work who stack seriously. added 200 oz the last 2 months as things are going crazy here too. And i live in a country where most gold and silver is tax free and as long as each purchase is under 4000 dollars it's not reported. And the bullion dealers is on our side so you basically just need to turn att the door and buy more.

One day there will be a big announcement - cash is being made obsolete, hand in your cash to a bank now, or lose it. They might even throw in an amnesty as to where you got it, and maybe a 10% free bonus added to your account balance by a certain deadline. How many people will fall for it? I can only imagine what Tim's store is/has been like in the last week or so. It is pretty scary from my point of view but as our $ are loosely connected I am seeing a lot of interaction on both sides of 49 deg. I always love the sound of two pieces of silver coming together. There is really nothing quite like it eh. In my nearly 70 years I do not recall hearing about a bank failing on either sides of the borders. It is actually a pretty scary thing eh my friend.
