  • I was sent the Creative Mark Image Transfer Kit from Jerry's Artarama!! In this video you can learn the process, but subscribe because I'll be posting a follow up video testing all kinds of possibilities!
Where to find the kit: www.jerrysartar...
Here are the steps if you want to copy to use for your own image transfers:
Step 1: Flip your image horizontally - the transfer process causes everything to reverse
Step 2: Print out on a laser printer - inkjet isn't water resistant and will bleed (could be cool though? I'm feelin a test!)
Step 3: Cut off excess paper from around your image - this helps centering your photo onto the surface
Step 4: Using the sponge brush from the kit, apply the SOHO Gloss Gel as evenly as possible to your surface (thicker the layer, the more the image will transfer)
Step 5: Apply your image face down
Step 6: Using your ArtSwipe Card from the kit, squeegee out all the bubbles - work from the center out toward the edges (don't go too crazy and squeeze out all the Gloss Gel, but some will inevitably come out. No worries! Just wipe off with your finger or a papertowel)
Step 7: Let dry for at least 4 hours (granted, if you apply the Gloss Gel an inch thick you most likely will have to wait longer. SUBSCRIBE to my channel because I'll be testing out how long is truely necessary for the dry time!)
Step 8: Using regular ol' water in your Spritz Bottle saturate the entire back of the paper - if white spots appear, don't pay them any mind... it's most likely where a little Gloss Gel got onto the back, but it won't affect anything
Step 9: Gently rub off the paper pulp until the image is visible. This will appear much clearer wet vs. dry. If you aren't sure if it's finished: let it dry and any parts that have white haziness on it will need to be rubbed more.
(Repeat step 9 until the image is clear when dry)
Voila! You are finished and it's time to party like it's 1999!
