Hi I recently came across your channel and I find your willingness to genuinely help others by sharing your own journey of self-sufficiency in learning to be very inspiring. You've done very excellently for yourself so I don't think you will need this but I'll share it anyway. I've also taught myself the complexity of English and one thing I did (and this is probably going to sound like a dweeb-like thing to do) was read US supreme court decisions. They are not only valuable in expanding your technical expertise of the language but also challenge your method of forming logic. The use of language in the field of law in general I've found to be an insightful look into how much influence language has on how we organize society itself. In this regard a youtube channel I've found interesting is Strict scrutiny. And also Elizabeth Prelogar's way of forming arguments. Additionally, two channels unrelated to law but focused on learning you might enjoy are Veritasium and Tibees. Hope you find these suggestions interesting. Wish you the best in your journey of excelling at self-motivated learning!
Anyways, thanks a lot.
Thanks for your videos! They have been very helpful in my learning journey. I am a brazilian with an intermediate level of english, and I want to improve it. I am also trying to learn some spanish and french, and consuming content about language learning in english has been very helpful because it’s content I would consume anyway, so I’m glad it’s in english. Thanks a lot! I would also really love to see more videos of you speaking other languages, especially spanish and french.
Hola, i love your videos. Thanks to youtube for bringing me to your channel. Your videos are original and raw which makes them authentic. Me encanta, as i am learning Spanish and its your mother tongue, pls make a video on it too. There are many Spanish learners like me who will be benefited. Gracias
This was soo helpful ❤❤. I asked it to to make a lesson plan of 15 minutes (as suggested by previous video) and it is amazing. It also provided me youtube video for that lesson ❤❤
Hi Cris, love your videos so much. Can you share how you take note new vocabulary in notebook and review them? especially when you’re reading, thanks in advance
hi, i'm glad to hear that! yes, i will be probably talking about vocabulary any time soon, i just can't tell for sure when as i have some exams coming up right now :/ thank you for the idea! 🤠
I love how polite you are to chatgpt. I also say please and thank you, lol. I like to think those are signs of good manners. Also, maybe they’ll be nice to us when they take over 😅
do you mean if reading in another language improves your mother tongue? I think it's an interesting point you raise there but I can't really tell you much about it. in my experience, i definitely think that as I started reading deeper/ more complex stuff in English and in French, I also got a bit more articulated in my mother tongue. but I think that's because my thinking also improved, not really sure :/

Pink looks beautiful on you
how long does it normally take to learn a language
it depends for how long you want that language in your life. I am still learning new things about my mother tongue almost everyday
