Great to see the arrival from the other side of the track I had forgotten about them parking the Sprinter there. Luckly I was further along the platform and able to see
It certainly was. A lot more than I expected. I only inended going to York but made a last minute decision to go to London. I had never been to Liverpool St before and then realised. it was possible to get to Peterborough before her on the way back. All along the way people were waiting to get a photo and a lucky few like us some rare video of the event. Interesting that the loco was turned round for the rail museum display.
Fantastic catch Trevor! The sheer numbers of enthusiasts were incredible, although it sounded like the station staff were stretched to contain them and keep them in order. They probably didn't expect the number of folk who turned up. I'm not sure the authorities would allow that to happen nowadays. Great stuff all the same and thanks for sharing it! Ken
Great video to learn from for anyone wanting to make a bad film. If you'd at least held the camera steady I might have been able to pick myself out in the crowd !!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed.Very busy wasn't it.Have just watched your vids 1-4 D200 Also nice to see it from the other side,Regards,Trevor.'''
