Who won: Wilder or Fury?
Fury
Fury
Wilder Won, he knocked the guy down 2xs.
Rashard Stallworth Tyson Fury easily won 9 out of those 12 rounds so regardless of the amount of time he knocked him down Fury won cause he simply had more points accumulated throughout the fight.
@@rashardstallworth9240 those were the only rounds he won and fury got back up
I have love for wilder, but he's delusional to think he won, tyson fury outboxed him and made him look like a rookery!
Wilder landed more heavy shots and knocked him twice, fury only land smooth shots jabbing
hes not delusional at all.... hes just a flat out lair. he knows he lost! he knows!... as soon as that final bell rang you can see it in his face.
doesnt matter how they land, you get points for shots landing, you get scored on each round, knockdowns just increase your point tally, even with the 2 knockdowns wilder was outlanded in 9 of the 12 rounds, outboxed and outlanded
Agreed Wilder is wrong, but it seems like he has to say he won to sell the next fight while he's getting good T.V coverage.
But he did knock him out twice.
Fury got up at 9. There were no delays. Just the usual confirmations by the ref that he was comfortable letting the fighter continue. Now if you wanna talk about a ref giving a fighter time to recover? The ref in your fight against Ortiz was veeeeeeeeeery kind to you Wilder.
That ref was kind all around the board. When Ortiz got dropped early ortiz got up but leaned on the ropes and wouldn't come to the ref and the ref didn't call it.
Amen
So was the doctor looking at absolutely nothing haha
Alex Reid Count of 9, After Fury being allowed to lie there, with a stunned ref not doing anything, but standing there looking shocked, after Wilder hit Fury the third time. That is when he should have waved off the fight, but didn't, but started a Late count. Watch it for yourself. I was just looking at this ref in Wilder's fights. He is very consistent, quickly does his job, Until that Fury fight, with the 12th round knockout.
At the end of the count the Ref wasted time before resuming the fight. Once Fury was up and ready he should have allowed Wilder to attack him.
I’m a huge Wilder fan, BUT there is no way he won that fight.
YUP if it wasn't for the 12th round knockout he would've lost that belt.
Thank you sir lol
The knockdown made it a draw
Joshua Woodard it couldn’t have made it a draw, in a 12 round fight the most you can get in any round is 10 points. I’ll give give Deontay 4 rounds...that’s only 40 points that leaves 8 rounds that Fury won. Boxing doesn’t work like that meaning just because you knock someone out and they get back up you automatically win the fight. Tyson Fury in my opinion easily won 9 out of those 12 rounds. Anything Deontay did would only have counted for that particular round not the entire fight.
Jamie Swanson you are absolutely right it was a clear victory. Especially when you consider one guy won 3 rounds and the other guy won 9😎
*WILDER'S LIST OF EXCUSES*
*1.* Pressure of PPV
*2.* Fury was too big
*3.* Fury looked to scary
*4.* It was too hot
*5.* His gloves were uncomfortable
*6.* The moon wasn't in alignment
*7.* The ref (that Showtime picked)
*8.* He couldn't see because Fury punched his eye too much
*9.* He broke his arm 15 years ago as a child
his costume was too heavy
His new excuses for getting beat up in the 2nd fight are even better.
As fans of Wilder we need to be honest with him so he can protect his craft. He boxed horribly and as fans we need to have his back and tell him he was terrible we believe he lost and he needs to get back in the gym and work on his boxing fundamentals. Analogy: It’s like he has spinach in his teeth and we tell him his mouth looks great and then he goes about his business talking to people and they are laughing at him cause he got spinach in his teeth.
I think it is too late to work on his fundamentals. He has had over 10 years. He is a poor boxer with a cannon and good athleticism. He is what he is. For such a limited fighter he has achieved so much and is so close to becoming the undisputed champion.
@@almac9203 sorry bro but that ant ever gona happen , he is as close as he gona get there is levels to boxiing and wilder levels below were he shuud be. .and i agree its to late to learn now!
As fans of Tyson Fury we need to tell him that in the 12th round he only had one job to do, and he failed
Or...... Just become fans of Fury, he's like a breath of fresh air compared to this race baiter and his 400-year my people speeches and dark gothic rock and Roll outfits..... I really would rather he come in a cheap Batman outfit, it was more down to earth.
@@mike62mcmanus wilder is Legend. He was losing going into the 12th round then out of nowhere he landed that Alabama Slammer securing his title.
Deontay is wrong. He would've got plenty of credit for knocking out a guy who was outboxing him for 10 rounds lol.
ehhhh not really. People would have said he got lucky.
He wanted to knock him out clean so his stock can go up but he couldn't
@@Cochise954 Wrong. Wouldn't be able to call it luck because he did the same thing to Luis Ortiz.
@@Prodigyz8 He was in the fight with Ortiz. Fury was boxing him out all night.
I highly doubt it. I was rooting for Wilder myself and I thought he looked absolutely pathetic in that ring. If he ended up winning, I still would think he needs to tighten up on his game plan.
That's right, you got two different sides. You got 98% saying Fury won, and you got 2% saying Wilder won.
99.9 % lol
i know right
Wilder! Come and take the belt don’t slap box and expect to win... 12 more punches landed more for fury 😂 meanwhile he was flattened twice
@@AlexKing-el8my you aren't a boxing fan, you're a wilder cheerleader, boxing isn't all about knockdowns
98% who already hated him before the fight, though.
I wouldn't give you guys opinion too much credit, as it's mostly based on pure wishful thinking.
Whitlock bout to get himself knocked out talking about he choked. Lol
The Manifestation Movement 😂
lmao fr
I wish he would😂
Thomas Dauphan agree with what you say about Wilder. On top of fighting a bunch of C level fighters, wilder just throws wild punches. Like not even combos he’s just throwing street fight hooks lol. I thought Fury backed up his talk and exposed wilder. I mean fury was 260 lbs,No KO power while wilder was 209 crazy KO power but he lacked what fury was good at and that’s knowing the science of boxing. The smaller, stronger guy lost to the bigger technical guy
Thomas Dauphan did he not beat Kiltchko, an amazing fighter
Let's just say this dude need to get in the gym and practice new techniques so he can be better equipped next time.
I'm thinking he has to grow from this.. he got schooled and got "lucky"
@@uniaguilar facts... a rematch won't be a kind. And a draw let's Joshua off the hook for a bit longer
Wilder needs a new trainer to sharpen his boxing skills, he needs to utilize uppercuts , body shots and other varied offensive tools.
33 years old can't teach new tricks to an old goose
@@MR-SR20 : Exactly
Deontay is in denial. Apart from the 2 big punches in the 12th he got schooled by Tyson Fury.
The first knock down he fell,/ lost his balance, 2nd shows how tough Fury is, he got up from two clear blows to the head.
Wilder lost nothing wrong with that.. I’m upset with the ppl being bias telling him he won.. if they kept it real he could adjust but he thinks he did nothin wrong
You gotta see it form other peoples perspective. Some people judge fights based off of the amount of damage a fighter took. Some people judge round to round. I for one had Fury winning 8 rounds to 4, but considering how boxing goes we should have saw this coming. To me this will be a repeat of Andre ward vs Kovalev.
With 2 knock downs that in essence gives you four rounds. Therefore wilder only needed 3 rounds to draw and 4 to win...there were several close rounds that could have went either way...so its possible
Dejesus Libran And if you could count, you would know that Fury did not beat the count in the 12th. Just saying. That ref typically runs over to start the count, or wave off. he didn't. he just stood there, like he was stunned. Stunned seconds count , too. The count was at least 13. Fury lost. No divine intervention
Iam Iam And you sir are one of the reasons wilder will not improve .. he will go back in looking for the ko thinking he did everything right and will fall
@@iamiam6036 Long count got debunked. ruclips.net/video/3B9l-W7-hQQ/видео.html
That's his best argument for him winning? Laughable.
The match was Hulk vs Juggernaut. ridiculous good. cant wait for the rematch! idk how Fury survived. and wow w that weight difference , Wilder still managed to rock him twice, says a lot about the POWER.
908peruvian Fury has always been quite chinny though, he’s been knocked down numerous times in his career.
@@SuperMillwall i will take heart over toughness any day. Fury getting back up in the 12th was absolutely ridiculous
That's literally all Wilders got power and that doesnt win every fight ask mike tyson george forman sonny liston the all got outboxed and knocked out
First thing out of his mouth was true. You have to be totally dominant in fighting for a championship belt!
No you don't lol.
@@NyQuilDonut What you talking about? It''s the #1 rule in boxing. You gotta beat the champ to beat the champ. The onus is always on the challenger to bring the fight to the champ. This doesn't mean I think that Fury lost, but what he is saying is true in boxing.
Excuses.....Excuses.......Excuses.......Excuses
He's a good guy and so is Fury. What a great era!!!
No way is Fury going back to America after this
Wilder needs to work that jab more not just to the head but to the body followed by a straight right to the body from the start it's easy pickings down there also there was some times in the fight Wilder cut him off with hooks to the body he just didn't do enough of it second fight could be completely different with the right game plan and focus on putting money in the bank and let the Bomb come naturally.....
Wilder said it was actually part of the game plan to go to his body. He just abandoned it to chase the knockout smh
In terms of a technical fighter Wilder is very poor, he's lucky Fury didn't have a punch otherwise Wilder would've got it
I say Fury trains a power punch for the rematch. He can develop one but he put his chips into the sweet science. Smart to do that though.
Everyone knows he is a poor boxer but he has extreme power and speed. AJ is too scared to fight him and AJ is a giant.
If Fury just lean into his right hands and put his weight behind it, he could knock anybody out. He is just to scared to take the chance.
I think Wilder's chin is better than people give him credit for, he ate some absolute bombs from Ortiz and Fury and has yet to touch the canvas, hurt yes but not down.
Chuey Ink u can’t train for power. Fury is big but he doesn’t sit down on his punches that’s y he’s so fast.
Wilder stop!!! Stop!! You lost man
Nah bro.... that fight was closer than you think!!! Watch it again!
Nelson Santos no it wasn’t.
Wilder only need 2 rounds to get a draw and your biased as couldn't see all those close rounds and at least 2 going to Wilder?
There were 3 rounds with a 1 punch difference idiot.
But for you all those go to Fury
Nb B182 It was
okay,,go take his belt from him, punk!
Lmao 4:20 Mr. Snacks talking about "Soo u Choked " idk why that was soo funny😂😂😂
Wilder's 209 lbs because he has legs like pipe cleaners, whereas his upper body wouldn't look that out of place at the Mr Olympia a few years back.
What about the oritz fight when the Ref gave you more time to recover at the start of the round.....
God got fury deontey even forgot his game plan plus that undertaker move be spiritual guys
Deontay Windmill Wilder choked then lied about accepting the 15 million flat fee then he said las Vegas would be a good place for the rematch with Fury because of the controversial decision . The last place a British heavyweight should be fighting in is Las Vegas. Fight at Wembley only. This is coming from a American boxing fan too much corruption in USA.
Amazing corruption the Boxing Mob in Las Vegas Money talk BS walk LOL
USA is corrupt full stop , invading Iraq on pretext of WMD !
Lmao there have been plenty of controversial decisions in Europe. He said he'd fight in Europe anyway so your argument is invalid.

Stop with the count garbage. He was up at 8 on my count. 9 on the refs count.
I mean fair is fair, Wilder hit Fury twice and knocked him to the floor BUT Fury got back up and he had bossed the fight otherwise
I am not sure anyone would have Wilder as Favorite in a Rematch. I think Finkel will Dodge the rematch and keep telling Wilder to keep saying he wants it in public but in reality they will keep ignoring the deal.
What a horrible interview smh. And then you rush the guest off? This show is poorly ran.
I think the same. It is good that you pointed at it.
Good critiquing bro

And it was real. Barry Hearn admitted it Monday. All involved knows it was but you hate facts because it tells the truth about Aj
Mr. CYP It wasn’t real lol. Wilder and his team needed Frank Warren to come up with the funds.. If you don’t know Frank Warren puts boxing on BT Sport and is full of hatred for Eddie Hearn. Joshua is EXCLUSIVELY a Sky Sports Box Office fighter, so even if the deal exists it was a no go from day one because they wanted it on BT.
Funny how you don’t mention that Hearn and Joshua have been chasing Wilder ever since the Povetkin fight. No mention that they offered Wilder a straight fee, a percentage and a 2 way rematch clause but Wilder still refused to sign it. When are you fanboys going to wake up and realise this man has NEVER had any interest in fighting AJ but only wanted to use his name for publicity?
lol can I repost this
The rematch should be another classic. Wilder was underweight for this fight, but he lost. I’m a huge Wilder fanboy, but Fury won hands down.
Fury will beat Wilder again and easier in UK
Fury won...
I want to see usyk vs wilder
Lol I watched the count and it was perfect! I timed it using the clock on the screen
He's doing interviews one week after fighting and not ducking and willing to give an immediate rematch. That's what champs do. This is a dangerous sport and i respect both these guys
Rigged 4 the check fellas
Bun It big fights like these end in draws just 4 the cash
Bun It yes for the check let's not act like these guys have no brain they are here to entertain us and make their bread

dre121bmore would not doubt it tbh
So true. I hope it is not all fake because i look up to the fighters, but if sketchy draws keep occurring in big fights, well... maybe i will be watching something else, or directly nothing.
Fury is gonna come back weighing 235 pounds.... and Deontay won't lay a glove on him
I doubt he'll lose much more weight. He only lost a pound and a half after the Pianeta fight.
When did Fury ever weigh that in life lol
I guarantee that Wilder knocks him out this time
@@sodear2meee how can you guarantee anything in life??? haven't u heard the saying? "The only thing that's certain in life is death and taxes"
You don't know Tyson Fury ....
Numbers don't lie?
Fury out-landed Wilder 84-71 overall, 46-40 jabs and 38-31 power and in the round-by-round breakdown, Fury led 9-3 in total connects and landed power punches as well as 6-2-4 in landed jabs, but while Fury won his rounds by mostly small margins (two or fewer connects in seven of his nine rounds in terms of total connects), Wilder won his rounds by larger gaps (2, 6 and 6, with the final two figures being the knockdown rounds of nine and 12).
Fury was more accurate in all phases (26%-17% overall, 21%-16% jabs and 37%-17% power).
Wilder landed just 17% of his power shots after landing 55% in his previous 8 fights. Fury limited Wilder to 71 total connects (6 per round) and Klitschko to 52 (4 per round). Heavyweight avg. is 15 landed per round.
those small margins and wilder being the aggressor is reason the round can go either way
Great interview..
Your Judge had you up *BEFORE THE 9th* Do you honesty believe you were up???
I do! Fury won 1 of the 1st 4 rds.. you guys act like Fury was punching in bunches...lol he was inactive an only threw a few solid jabs! Give me a break, wilder didn't/don't have nothing to prove to you haters! Facts are he floored s 50lbs heavier fighter twice in the later rds! More respect for the champ 2day than a week ago! The place was electric and I could see that he was overwhelmed by the moment tho! Next fight it's over early but i doubt fury will sign on...
LOL, wilder fanboy... no objectivity...
Fury was robbed.. them judges should never judge again.. Wilder is delusional if he thought he won..lmfao
'So you choked?' Hahahah 💯. Pressure was too much for bumsquad lol
Count was ten seconds, completely got outboxed. Tyson Fury didn't take enough damage through out the entire fight for the referee to wave it off on that last knock down, Completely in denial.
Apart from the knockdowns Wilder was dominated.
I lost all respect I had for Wilder, for claiming he won. That was a travesty of Boxing Judging.
the 12th round was a KO. Ref reacted late. He did win that fight
well i lost respect for tyson. I was rooting for him but if it bothers u that Wilder said he won just look at Tyson after the fight. There s a difference between sportsmanship and accepting the unfair judgement.
Jimmy Bonez Not only should it have been a KO, my question is: who was the ref looking for ringside when Fury hit the canvas????
That makes me think that it actually could’ve been some b.s involved.
In my opinion, the fight should’ve stopped that fight after seeing Fury’s face on that canvas. But that’s just my opinion
Wilder seems like a decent guy. So level-headed and chilled out.
wonderfully respectful gentleman. They both have been ambassadors for the sport.
It’s wasn’t boxing that won that’s for sure #115/111
Early rounds Fury squandered clowning, couldnt get a 209 heavyweight out...Mute commentary and rewatch,Draw fair.,.
Based on merit of later rounds one cannot just gift those early rounds to Fury.Floyd dashed out because he lost money on a draw.Early rounds I sure gave Wilder a few.
Wilder corner should be fird for not telling him to upper cut his lean -n- rock...
Wilder Scapula muscles far out of proportion causing him to over shoot.
Derrick James in interview spoke of interest in working with him.Wish he would,Never stop adding to Toolbox!!!!!
It seems like the top heavyweight boxers are mindful of what is good for the sport, it's good to see
Who were the interviewers please? Great video.
Wilder would knock Jason whitlock out with ease lol that would be funny to watch
You promise a KO. You lost PERIOD ....
If only he had the guts to admit he lost. He finally had the opportunity to win the fans hearts and to go down in sports history as a truly great man. He would've been all over the internet by now!!
That first question "you look like a basketball player" that's a bit offensive because it reveals they don't know who he is.
it was not a...TIEson fury...won💯
I like what you did here.
Fury would have won the fight except Wilder knocked him down twice. If Wilder doesn't get that second knockdown he loses.
Nope. Do you really think a knockdown is more significant than 2.90mins of boxing work? Like the fella said above, Fury out pointed him. It's called boxing, not "knockdown"... Smh, casual. "getting knocked down is fine, so long as you can get back up" - Muhammad Ali.
Respect for the interviewer for saying what he thinks...
Well done to the presented who kept it real, to his face. Taking a loss isn't a bad thing!!
he's completely insane? he actually thinks he won???? I think we are going have to say knock down power now! he knocked nobody out that night! and please stop calling him the hardest hitting heavyweight of all time! please! he's top 5 maybe but never hardest of all time! he thought he actually landed more punches! lol mad as a box of frogs! lol
12th rd was a ko
@@bayarea510 it was a knock down? He got up at 9-10 then the ref has to make a decision based on his normal judgement processes, which for him is to make sure the fighter is on steady legs! TIL Marcellus is on Fox! Big fan here. Used to love Marcellus and Max Kellerman talk about boxingon thier podcast every Monday after the fight.
The count wasn’t slow. The official timer for the match shows that fury wasn’t on the ground for 10 seconds and got back up on steady legs.
At 3.30 Wilder starts talking about the pressure he felt. I think Fury had gotten in his head and he couldn't do what he wanted to do. He did choke.
No, the problem is that the heavy weight division in America depended on him alone, the division is good because he put a lot of work in it.
The same for AJ that saved the division and make it great again.
Fury should be more polished by the rematch after a lay off and being soo fat. Fury should have played it more safe in the 12th. Got too cocky and got caught but Fury was winning 90% of the fight

This is rubbish , Joshuas team might be laying on it waiting for it to increase in value but fighters are not afraid of other fighters at this level , it will happen.
These interviewers are very honest
Iam actually a fan of wilder now respect from Glasgow Scotland 🏴 uk
How did you choke when you dropped you're opponent 2xs?
book marks thank you sir lol
I thought something was wrong with that count too. If you look at the clock at the exact time that Furry hit the floor it says 221 and when he got up was exactly 211, if you do the math that's exactly 10 and not 9 like the ref had at that moment. Also what's going on with all those extra seconds the ref gave Furry after the knock down, he gave Furry way too much time and that was unfair to the other fighter.
The count does not start the moment a fighter hits the floor, but the moment the other fighter is in the farthest neutral corner. It took Wilder at least two seconds to do this as he was still celebrating his "victory" with his classy throat-slitting gesture. Quite properly, the Ref. started his count at that point and no sooner. And its not ten seconds to get up, its the referee's count of ten, which is not quite the same thing. As Fury was demonstrably fit to carry on, credit must be given to the ref. for not making a "quick stoppage"
Only in boxing/sports can 90+% people say Fury won and they play it off like it was a close fight and that people are torn between who really won.
The main fight will be in the UK. Home of boxing 😎👍
Start watching fights with no sound. You'll know the clear cut winner after that. If u listen...you'll be confused. Wilder won hands down...but if you listen to announcers ....you'll think otherwise.
brizzy2121 RUclips the compubox stats. And I don’t need sound. Wilder’s busted up face from being outboxed is all I needed to see. The first knockdown was cheap. He knew he was down by a landslide round wise. Which is why he unleashed in the 12th. Fury won that fight. You don’t see him with Stunner Shades on in the interviews. Nor do you hear Fury making excuses.
Facts i watched with no sound. Wilder was the clear aggressor with powerful punches
Deontay reminds me of Hillary - going around telling everybody that she should have won.
You can’t say Deontay won for knocking Fury down twice, he was landing at like 12% accuracy - if boxing was plainly judged based on who hits harder there wouldn’t have been any point in them fighting in the first place
Respect to Whitlock and Wiley, they didn't change their tune when Wilder was present. They kept it real.
not even a wilder fan but he easily won that fight
I had it 114 - 112 Wilder (9th and 12th rounds were 10 - 8), 3 of the other 4 rounds i had him winning were close but i favored aggression, activity & punches landed over Fury's defense. I challenge anyone to re watch the fight without commentary and come up with your own score.
I did and I truly believe that Fury won for at least 4 points in all fight couting the 2 knockdown from Wilder
114 -112 i could agree with that , but give Wilder one extra round and it is a draw ! Even Stevie Wonder wouldnt have scored it like the mexican judge
Kid you must be one of those casuals who don't know squat about boxing . You cannot dominate a round by catching punches with your face and throwing inaccurate haymakers that miss your target by a mile . And that is all that Wilder did besides the two knockdowns. ……..And I am an American black man.
LOL
Since now the decision was a draw, the most logical would be Joshua inviting Wilder to Wembley and let them go for the title and the Tyson Fury go against the winner.
That ould secure two gigantic fights with either one winning!
Deontay should get more respect. He more than played his part and showed great courage to stay in the fight after eating a lot of leather. He's a fighting man and a devastating puncher.
WILDER BEST BOXER IN BOXING HISTORY ! ROBBED WITH UNCALLED KO AND DRAW !
You are to young to be saying go research before spreading that bs
No.
Fury got saved by one second. He won’t be able to count in the rematch.
You should have never abandoned your game plan because if it wasnt for that crooked judge YOU LOST!!!
IMO, one of the biggest problems w/ the fight game is people’s experience, expectations, and understanding of the fight game...As an 80’s baby , we learned to have the expectation that when you face the champ for a title, there is no outboxing the champ for points, you have to totally dominate him Or knock him out... Too many new fans think about point scoring in the pros in the way that you should in the amateur ranks! In the pros you either dominate or destroy - Fury did neither...

@@christof123 And got up both times and doesn't matter once you are over 200lbs. He probablu cuts from a larger weight also. He is CUT and 212lbs is not tiny. Ali was not much bigger if bigger. Fury Won 90% of the fight. Take away the last knockdown and Wilder got Dominated the whole fight. The 1st knockdown Fury popped right back and beat him again. Wilder got outboxed for like 34 of 36 mins
Two 10-8 rounds would mean that Wilder needed only to win 3 other rounds for a draw
I personally gave him the two 10-8 rounds and 2 other rounds. So I had him losing 114-112
But it’s not inconceivable to think that a judge might have given him 1 other round. Considering Wilder pushed the action in most of the rounds.
But if you think about... we needed a draw. We needed both fighters coming out of looking legitimate.
Now AJ doesn’t have such a huge disparity in negotiation leverage. And THATS really what us as boxing fans needed
6 weeks prior to fight night this dude Wilder fractured his right arm went in for surgery and still went ahead with the fight. Most fighters would've put it off until they were at full health.
I think on skill Fury won including the knock-downs. A humble Wilder deserves attention and respect. I guess a draw was generous to Wilder, but like the man says, a rematch will be decisive. Respect to Deontay. I was cheering for him.
Anyone with a name like WILDER is a top man as far as Im concerned 😁 Wilder.....you gotta love Wilder. Speak it, believe it, recieve it baby ✌🏽💖
He’s gotta say he thinks he wins. That’s his job. He knows in his heart and soul that he lost that fight. And the only people saying Wilder won, are Wilder’s people.
4:22 showed how humble & down to earth Deontay is REALLY is. I bet that fool would NOT have said that to Mike Tyson!!! Deontay should have checked him. At least verbally or sarcastically...
Deontay is a TRUE role model walking around as a modern day Warrior/Superhero for the youth.
