It was all part of the masterplan though. He’d lived a long life and was going to die soon anyway. He saved dracos soul by having Snape kill him while simultaneously making Draco the master of the eldar wand to fool Voldemort.
He was. Because he was already dying and he used his death to make Snape gain even more trust from Voldy. It was a conspiracy that ended in success and saved Dumbledore humiliation and pain of being defeated and dying in hands of a Voldemort's minion!
Dumbledoore is unlucky considering that his sister was killed and he believes it's his fault , and his friend wanted the power too himself

Harry not being in the list is a crime. Even though he faced a lot of traumas, his luck was more than the luck.
Dudley is not lucky. Even Dumbledore says that he is grateful Harry was spared the incredible damage done to Dudley based on how he was raised.
Harry was neglected but turned out a good person. You could say Dudley was lucky because he became a better person in the end.
Finally someone that sees past the so called love and pampering. It's like people don't understand that that type of upbringing is so damaging emotionally. It's a miracle he had any type of redemption. Harry suffered a lot but I would say it's good that he was mostly ignored. Dudley and Harry were abused but it was two diffrent types of abuse. In fact, two characters I can draw parallels between are Draco and dudley. It's the same type of abuse. I agree that they did a lot of shitty things but people just couldn't look at anything but their actions.

@KingKhan20000 Lucius and narcissa spoiled Draco but they didn't just let him do whatever without any consequences and def didn't make excuses for all his actions. Dursleys on the other hand made dudley believe he is perfect, can do no wrong and they made excuses for everything he did or said. They fulfilled his wishes, didn't teach him consequences and accountability at all. I dont know about u but that is abusive and toxic af. Imagine a child with no sense of right or wrong or accountability coz they see themselves as God incarnate. It looks good and sweet on the outside that dursleys fulfilled all of dudley's wishes, but you are discounting what that does to a child mentally. Malfoys were on wrong side and they def had their flaws in their parenting style but dursleys were way worse considering they damaged dudley for good. Biggest visible proof is dudley's obesity. The school nurses intervened otherwise dursleys made excuses for his obesity too. That is a health issue which could have costed dudley his life. Both are shitty parents but dursleys are way worse

Yep, Fudge was all buddy buddy with malfoy because he worked at the ministry, so Fudge didn't want to listen/believe voldamort was back, or that Malfoy was a death eater.
Lucious did go to Azcaban for a short while after the battle at the ministry though.
draco was definitely not a lucky character. he was forced to become a death eater at 16 despite him not wanting to. he became a bully because that’s how his dad raised him and everything he did was to try and earn his dads praise
It isn't Dumbledore who is lucky. It is the wizarding world that was lucky to have such a great wizard.

Actually Narcissa was doing something very dangerous not clever. She noticed Harry was alive and asked him about her son who was missing. She was just being a mother. And the dangerous thing she did was lie Voldy on his face!! Voldy was the best Legilimen, and if Voldy was not all weak that time, and has seen through her lie, she would have been dead along with Harry!!

And Dumbledore didn't know about the Elder Wand changing its allegiance to the witch or wizard who disarms the last owner.🤣🤣

Well Dumbledore did know about the Elder wand changing it's allegiance if it's current owner was disarmed by force, obviously since he disarmed Grindlewald (without killing him as Grindlewald was in Nurmengard at the time, alive might i add) and subsequently gained the allegiance of the wand.
Dumbledores Plan failed in that regard that Snape was supposed to kill him before anyone else could disarm him.
We muggles call that plot armor. It was plot armor that saved Dumbledore's plan.

There are a lot of things to the story. In the Astronomy tower, Draco came alone first to kill Dumbledore. He had LOTS of time to do it but Dumbedore could tell that even though Draco hated him thanks to their family's prejudice, he was not a killer. That's why he asked, Snape to kill him
Draco wasn't lucky that Snape "happened to be there when Harry tried out a new spell," this was part of his Unbreakable Vow to Narcissa to protect Draco.
Harry literally survived the Avada Kedavra curse which is obviously the most powerful of all three unforgivable curses TWICE!

Also disagree on Dudley, idk I get the vibe this is coming from a movie only perspective but the Dursley’s used spoiling Dudley to punish Harry, they modeled bullying and control as baseline “how you interact with others”, like in the first book when Vernon wanted to be nice to Harry he did it by making Dudley get the mail, punishing someone as a way to be nice to someone else, dumbledoor calls them TF out for raising their son in such a toxic way, my head cannon is he got therapy as an adult

Lucius was also lucky that he was in Azkaban after the Battle of the Department of Mysteries. Would say the same for Draco, however.
They don’t leave the battle of Hogwarts in the books! They watch Voldemort being defeated not fighting on either side and then sit in the Great Hall away from everyone else! Harry testifies what Draco and Narcissa did for their side which keeps them out of Askaban, he's too busy with the other Auror's trying to catch the ones who actually got aware than caring about the Malfoy's!
Draco was not lucky that snape was around, he was supposed to he sweared to protect him.

Dudley was not lucky at all. He was abused as well. He was spoiled, overweight to a point where his health was at risk, and a bully, unliked by all but his parents and his gangster "friends." His parents set him up for failure. If anything, he's lucky he managed to turn his life around. That doesn't always happen to kids who grew up like him.

How is Dudley lucky? Being spoiled could make him arrogant and privileged and he would never have been attacked if he wasn't with Harry. Most of Dudley's problems are because of Harry as he wouldn't have developed a bullying habit by bullying Harry and he wouldn't have had to go to London to surgically remove a pigtail, also, Harry's magic caused him a lot of fear, and while it was because he had bullied Harry earlier in life, this would've made him pretty miserable, and Harry ruined Vernon's big sale opportunity unintentionally as without Harry there, Dobby wouldn't have been there and Vernon could've earned a nice promotion and more money to make his family happy. In conclusion, all of the inhabitants of the Dursley house were unlucky to have Harry there.
Draco wasn’t all like rainbows and butterflies because he wasn’t really unfortunate lucky enough to not go behind his own parents backs because maybe he was trying to please them that he didn’t want to be like them

I wouldn't necessarily call Dudley lucky, his upbringing would've been set in stone and he would've been completely spoiled even if Harry were never there, it's because of Petunia's beef with her sister and that Harry was basically Lilly reincarnated back to haunt Petunia that she raised her son the way she did in not wanting to treat her own child the way her parents did to her.
Harry saving him from the Dementors and informing the Dursleys that they need to get away, yeah they were all absolutely lucky for that, but Dudley would've been spoiled irregardless, Harry being there just exacerbated the treatment he received more than anything.

Draco was not lucky. He grew up bullying others relentlessly, he's a racist and a forced death eater at 16, and constantly tries to earn praise, especially from his father. Malfoy was a horrible character and was never fully happy due to the family he was born in.
