The E-flite Ultra Stick 1.1m is based on the design of larger Hangar 9 Ultra Stick models and was inspired by the iconic Mini Ultra Stick. In 2005 the Mini Ultra Stick became an all-time top-seller as E-flite’s first-ever “wood” PNP and ARF model that bolted together so it could be assembled as easily and in as little time as foam PNP models. It also offered the benefits that strong, stiff and lightweight, built-up wood construction offered - which delivered flight performance unlike molded foam models. Ultra Stick 1.1m is an updated, upgraded, and more refined version of the Mini Ultra Stick. The balsa and lite-ply airframe is still lightweight yet features stiffer tail surfaces - that install quickly and easily with just two locknuts - and a stronger mounting area for the main gear installed with four bolts. The one-piece wing is easy to install and remove thanks to the single thumbscrew, plus it’s set up to accept two additional servos so you can split the ailerons for “crow” and/or flaps plus full-span aileron/flaperon/spoileron setups. The BNF (Bind-N-Fly) Basic version is equipped with four factory-installed metal-geared servos, a 3S and 4S compatible Spektrum motor, and an exclusive Avian 45-amp Smart Lite ESC that can provide a variety of real-time power system telemetry data with Smart and non-Smart batteries via compatible Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters. It’s also equipped with an AR631 receiver to provide fly-by range and real-time telemetry data, including battery voltage, current, ESC temps, and more - plus motor reversing for special ground handling and other capabilities - along with the benefits of AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select technologies. Or, the ARF (Almost-Ready-To-Fly) version is ready for installation of your preferred electronics and power system! And because it’s based on the design of larger Hangar 9 Ultra Stick models, it offers the same great low-speed flight characteristics that make for easier landings, along with excellent high-speed handling and outstanding basic to mild 3D aerobatic capabilities. You can even install the optional wheel pants (sold separately) to make it look more like larger Ultra Stick models! This makes it a perfect first-ever “wood,” everyday sport flying and aerobatic capable model for a wide range of pilots. I understand that people are excited about this plane. I am concerned that 90% of the new releases have been revision, size increases or decreases, V2s. These are the low hanging fruit. Let’s see Horizon show some innovation like the Viper 90. The Viper 90 shows us Eflite is capable of creating one of the best EDF out there. Let’s see more of that.
What about the Beechcraft D18 or the Fun Scale PT-19 or the Fun Scale P-47 or the Eratix or the UMX P-51D or the RV-7 or the Twin Otter or the Aermacchi MB-339 or the OV-10 Bronco......etc....you get the picture.....😉😄
We definitely understand where you're coming from, and appreciate you being respectful when commenting here! That said, for your and the reference of others, as we've posted elsewhere for this and other recent releases: Even if you don't like this release PLEASE be considerate and respectful if you comment here! You may not like it, but there are plenty of other people who will. And if you want to think/say we "never release anything different!", please don't forget that just a few weeks ago we announced the ALL-NEW Hangar 9 Aermacchi MB-339 60-85N Turbine Jet which is a giant-scale ARF model ( ruclips.net/video/TpUHE9cP1Qg/видео.html ) and this is the first "wood" model we've released under the E-flite brand in many, MANY years! Also, the second paragraph below is very important to keep in mind: We typically release upwards of two dozen new airplane models each year, from ultra micro to giant scale, from trainers and STOL-capable models to warbirds and jets. Around half or more of those are ALL-NEW designs, and the remainder are usually NEW updates/upgrades of previously available models. We try to "sequence" them so we don't announce/release too many updated/upgraded versions of previous models in a row, but that's not always possible...especially for the last few years due to supply chain and other challenges caused by the pandemic. And if anyone doesn't like our recent, this or any future announcements/releases, they should wait a few weeks to see what the next one is...because it could be COMPLETELY different and something they like/want much more! We've got some ALL-NEW jets, civilian scale, STOL, 3D, sport and other models in the works and coming soon BTW, these are the models we've released in the last ~18 months (and there would have been quite a few more, especially ALL-NEW models, if development/production hadn't been delayed due to the pandemic): ALL-NEW E-flite F-14 Tomcat Twin 40mm EDF (announced 12/2/2021) NEW E-flite A-10 Thunderbolt II Twin 64mm EDF (announced 1/13/2022) NEW E-flite UMX Pitts (announced 2/3/2022) NEW E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.2m (announced 2/17/2022) NEW HobbyZone Carbon Cub S 2 1.3m Chandra Patey Limited Edition (announced 3/10/2022) NEW E-flite Cirrus SR22T 1.5m (announced 3/24/2022) NEW E-flite Commander mPd 1.4m (announced 5/5/2022) NEW E-flite F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m (announced 5/19/2022) ALL-NEW E-flite UMX Timber X (announced 6/16/2022) ALL-NEW E-flite Habu SS 50mm EDF (announced 7/21/2022) ALL-NEW E-fllite Beechcraft D18 1.5m (announced 9/8/2022) NEW E-flite F-16 Thunderbirds 80mm EDF (announced 9/15/2022) NEW Hangar 9 Fun Scale PT-19 PNP (announced 9/22/2022) NEW E-flite UMX P-51D Voodoo (announced 9/29/2022) NEW RealFlight Evolution (announced 10/13/2022) ALL-NEW E-flite UMX Twin Otter (announced 12/8/2022) NEW E-flite P-51D Mustang 1.2m "Cripes A'Mighty 3rd" (announced 1/12/2023) ALL-NEW Tower Hobbies ASW 28 2.0m (announced 1/13/2023) NEW E-flite Carbon-Z T-28 Trojan 2.0m (announced 1/26/2023) ALL-NEW Hangar 9 Pawnee Brave 20cc, 87" ARF (announced 2/2/2023) ALL-NEW E-flite Slow Ultra Stick 1.2m (announced 3/2/2023) ALL-NEW Hangar 9 Aermacchi MB-339 60-85N Turbine Jet, 84” ARF (announced 3/16/2023) NEW E-flite UMX Turbo Timber Evolution (announced 3/23/2023) ALL-NEW RealFlight Evolution 2023 Quarterly Content Pack 1 (announced 3/30/2023) ALL-NEW E-flite Ultra Stick 1.1m (announced 4/6/2023)

Just curious... what is bad about the sound track? I know Dad Rock is pretty cliche for product videos but I would love to know what you think would work better :) More techno/electronic? Maybe some sort of country or bluegrass vibes?

Nice!
what flying field is this? 2 runways 😍 somewhere in IL near Horizon HQ?
nice!
The motor of this plane is more powerful than the one of the SR22?
Thanks
How about a several versions of Art Scholl’s Super Chipmunk. Any version!
Or some Cap 21’s.
Just perfect!! I destroyed my Mini last summer :)
Can you send me one please
The trashy music makes this difficult to watch. Nice wee plane though.
