octavia wasnt actually upset about the uniform, she was struggling because shes never belonged in skaikru and finally the episode of s1 indra told her she’s trikru now only to say ”youre no longer my second” 10 minutes later because octavia chose to stay for her brother after lexa retreated. she has some deep rooted trauma from her childhood which makes her long for what she didnt have. shes having a full on identity crisis, for her lincoln becoming more and more skaikru is just her having less and less connection to trikru. 9:05 ”shes acting like she was always a grounder” no, she’s acting like she was never skaikru.

I couldn't stand Pike and was disappointed in Bellamy. Pike was being illogical and unreasonable towards all the grounders, and he wasn't taking into account all the politics surrounding the different clans.
Pike and Bellamy didn’t have the full story its not their fault they tried to have clarke and kane open up but they didn’t they went of the information they had and what they had were a bunch of dead friends due to the grounders i 100 percent understand where they were coming from
the difference between lexa and pike is that lexa does everything for her people but the way she does it is based on intelligence, he does it based on emotion. also the reason lexa does it is because it’s the way of her people, it’s what life is for them, it’s what her people have always had to do to survive, pike does it because he’s angry and racist. for lexa it’s rationality, she was raised to believe life is about kill or be killed, for pike it’s irrationality, he’s hurt so he copes by seeing them as all the same. he said it himself, after what happened to his people they’re all the same to him.
Btw guys, Fun Fact: Did you know that the guy who created the Dothraki language in Game of Thrones is the same guy who created the grounder language in the 100?
something you need to understand about grounders is how different their culture is to ours. they had to survive a hundred years after society fell in barely survivable conditions. for them life is kill or be killed, us or them. theyre cruel because that’s how they had to be. theyre trained from birth to kill. all they’re taught is loyalty for their own clan, everything else comes second. your own feelings dont matter, if your leader tells you to kill your brother you do it, if your leader tells you to fight to death you do it. “love is weakness” is literally their motto. you are confused about echo betraying bellamy after he saved her, but theyre conditioned from birth to do anything and everything for your people. you’re confused about lexa betraying clarke, but a leader especially has no room for personal feelings, a leader in their culture has to do the thing that benefits their people the most.
Bellamy's storyline this season should have been after season 1, it would have made sense, then followed by his saviour arc going into mt weather, now it just looks like he flip flops
No, it makes much more sense for his evil arc be in this season, because the grounders abandoned Skaikru to die in MW, which led him into killing innocent people. If you are constantly betrayed by someone, I expect you to "flip flop"

Like, the people on the ark had a whole bunch of infighting and difference in opinions on how they should do things, so what makes you think other groups aren’t like that too?

What Anya said in the beginning was true, at the beginning it was a misunderstanding but it was the sky people who started the war the moment Clarke didn't made a peace with Anya, they landed on someone's home and expected them to surrender

Everybody lost people to grounders. Now if they wanna run their little colony they have to grow up and get over it especially if they wanted a truce which they had before they killed that army. If he’s gonna let his emotions rule the decisions he makes then he shouldn’t be in charge.
