become a psychopathophysiologist so we can figure out where to use transcranial magnetic stimulation. Then we can consult the psychopathoelectroencephalographologist to see whether it was effective or not
Hey! Freshman in high school here. Just wanted to say a quick thank you Dr. Jubbal and the entire Med School Insiders team for making this video and all your efforts for this channel. It is so helpful to first-gen students who are completely new to this system! Thank you so much!
Hello to all wishing to become, as someone who isn't a physician I would want to wish you all a great career in whatever you pursue, and if you pursue medicine I hope you all have a clear, dedicated and above all passionately focused plan and execution with your studies. 👍 Good luck to all and have a great day!
Currently a high schooler aiming to become a doctor!i love to seek out opportunities to learn about and gain experience in the field, i was lucky enough to shadow a plastic surgeon both in the OR and the clinic and i had a great time!
Hey !! I am currently a freshman in high school and i also want to gain experience in this field. can you tell me if I can join at his age ? and if I can how do I shadow a surgeon? please reply
@@Sasipranaya Hello! Being completely transparent, I was very lucky to have a connection that made getting this opportunity fairly easy. However, there are many threads online that answer this question in good detail for those that may not have a way in like I did. Ultimately, though, my best word of advice is to never be afraid to reach out! As a freshman, you could have many opportunities to learn about fields you're interested in presented to you, and the most important step is that you take the initiative. I wish you the best on your high school journey!!
I am currently in my senior year of high school and applying to colleges. I am currently in my school’s EMT program partnered with our local ambulance company and I hope to be an EMT while also being a college student and go to medical school :) idk what specialty I want to do tho 😵💫 wish me luck ✨🍀
Good luck! I’m in 9th grade (don’t use American terminology) but I also want to study medicine, I’m quite scared tho because I’m lazy sometimes and don’t want to work either way I’m committed to following my dreams to become a OB/GYN!
i’m a sophomore in high school right now. i’m completely new to this system and so is my family. my dad is a police officer and my mom is involved with nonprofit organizations. i want to go into obstetrics and i also have an interest in neonatal surgery. i’m in a biomedical program at my school, and i can say that it is 100% my favorite class. i’m taking all the AP and honors classes that i can handle. i’m kinda paranoid that i won’t get into college, let alone med school. i’ve never been so passionate about something in my life. i’ve been trying to set my nerves aside and focus on where i am now. i just wonder if anyone else feels like i do.
I really loved this video and I'm a high school student who wants to be a doctor in future. Are these processes the same for international students especially the MCAT exams in college and USMLE in medical school? Like, how can international students become a doctor in the US from high school?
Hi guys, I’m a HS Junior. I’ve really wanted to be a doctor for a few years for some personal reasons, but one thing I worry about is my ADHD. Everyone says Medicine is a marathon not a sprint, I’m really good at going all in to something for a short time (in a few months I became one of the best geoguessr players in the world because I thought it was funny, I wrote a 50,000 word novel in a month, etc.) but I can have a hard time with long commitments. Does anyone have advice about how to keep going or been in a similar situation? Thanks
ADHD in Medicine is common and can be managed with meds, but working hard and passion manifesting as long-term commitment to the profession are important to help you get to and complete medical training.
What do you think of high school students who are interested in becoming a doctor that get EMT certification in High School? Does that give any advantage to a student before college and medical school?

Hey is your premed roadmap permanent? Will I have it forever or do I have to complete it in a set time?
I’ve wronged lots of people. The medical community would never trust me. That’s why I’m a plumber.
