    It's a shame, they're a key element of World Showcase and its identity. I loved walking by the Japan pavilion to see them perform. I will miss them

    We have always loved this show. As a Passholder for nearly 20 years it will be a real shame not to see these performers when we walk into the Japanese pavilion.

    Dear Disney - DON’T END CONTRACTS with anyone who helped make the parks MAGICAL -- those people supported you, so you support them! -ooo! - I’m upset with you, Disney, if you truly are ENDING CONTRACTS with people who made EPCOT great...... PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR PEOPLE .... otherwise I might not be able to love you as much as I always have ... and that would be so sad for me... 😭❤️😭

    Seen Matsuriza many many times. One of the best reasons for visiting Epcot over the years. A really great "final" performance, but I would hope that when the current "situation" is over, they will be back as part of Disney World's 50th Anniversary next year........I can't imagine going back to Epcot and not seeing them again!

      Otsenre s They had no choice. Many of their international contractors aren’t allowed to stay here if they’re not working. They didn’t have a choice. That doesn’t make it hurt any less though

      Coaster Labs I know right? It’s like he’s making unfair decisions like he did to the Tower of Terror at Disney’s California Adventure in which the fan’s are still sadden and angry right to this day about it no longer being there

    Instead of whining guys, there’s this thing called an obon festival held at a place called a hongwanji every summer and it is this exact thing but you can dance and there’s bomb food everywhere. It is great y’all should really try it sometime
    Edit: I forgot to mention admission is free as it’s a tradition religion thing you really get swept up in the spirit

    Why do I have a feeling as the years go on I'm going start regretting buying into DVC last year? Sure, changes are going to happen and I welcome them. But why get rid of such a classic and I conic show that ALWAYS draws a crowd?

    I've read that their visa does not allow them to be in the US if the parks aren't open and they're not working, hence they had to return to Japan and subsequently, let go. Here's hoping that once the parks are back open, new contracts will be negotiated and they will return.

  • @ElFreakinCid

    I really hope all the cut performers are invited back after the crisis ends. World Showcase will be a whole lot duller if they're never brought back, especially Matsuriza--they'd been performing there for 25 years at the time they were laid off. I swear I could feel the sadness of the situation in those first couple minutes of this final performance.

  • @Jediberserker73

    Disney had better get their head out of their buttons. I hope this is only a temporary thing or until this Covid stuff passes. I have been going to EPCOT since it opened and this has ALWAYS been something that I stopped and watched every time I was there. These performers are extremely professional and incredibly talented, and ALWAYS have been.

    It's a shame I loved the german exhibit for food the canadian for the Beatles but the Japanese pavilion was the heart of the entertainment. I guess Disney will just have to start charging two hundred a ticket to get in now.

    I’ve never been to Disney but stumbled across this act. They are entertaining enough to win on Americas Got Talent. Why are you cutting their contract? You are making a mistake.

    What do you wanna bet they're gonna replace it with some lame ass Character IP based show?

    • @ElFreakinCid
      @ElFreakinCid 4 года назад

      I wouldn't be so sure of that, Disney amazingly still has yet to set any movies in Japan. And now they don't even have the distribution rights to Ghibli's works anymore cause they couldn't be bothered to renew that contract, I guess, so they don't even have that to work with, even the stuff they dubbed.
