I've done 9 podcasts with various people, this is by far the best 😍. The amount of background research that you do is simply phenomenal 🔥🔥. The way you plan structure and conduct your podcasts is so professional and the way you edit and present it is so crisp, I'm in awe of you guys 🤗
Will definitely give it a watch AGAIN! To absorb Captain Samarth's ideology how he thinks, works, and leads. I completely agree with you, Karan, that his aura is nothing short of god-level! I’ve never seen him in person, but his thoughts, voice, mindset, and leadership style are inspiring. The way he mentioned, “You might grow old by age, but always strive to stay young in your mind,” truly resonated with me. Captain Samarth doesn’t only just talk about the Merchant Navy or his past experiences. His insights go beyond, sharing transferable skills that are invaluable not only for seafarers or those aspiring to be one but for anyone looking to grow personally and professionally. Skills like Taking ownership of your actions. Accepting challenges and giving your 100% regardless if it's your job or someone eles's. Focusing on solutions instead of complaining. Throughout the podcast, I found myself relating his lessons to my own profession and thinking about how I can implement them. I’ve watched most of your podcasts, Karan, but this one hit differently. Even though I couldn’t fully grasp some of the technical terms, the lessons Captain Samarth conveyed through his stories, "RULES," and leadership style are my biggest takeaways. I’m about to step into the corporate world soon, and now I feel like I have a roadmap for how to approach it in terms of growth and learning. While I don’t come from a Merchant Navy background (just have a friend in the profession), every time I watch your podcast, I walk away with valuable lessons. Whether it’s about content creation, learning how businesses operate, or even understanding new ventures like owning a ship-it’s all incredibly enriching. Hats off to you once again, Karan! 🙌🙌 Today You’ve bombarded us with learnings and inspiration from Captain Samarth. And as he mentioned at the end, “You’re going to make history-spreading knowledge and wisdom of Maritime Industry to Indian audience easiest way possible through your content”! This podcast isn’t just for seafarers it’s for anyone who wants to explore how this incredible industry operates and has evolved over time. Thanks a ton, Karan! 🙌
@@capt_sam Glad Captain! I have learnt alot from you, saw your first time on Karan's profile started following since that day, really fascinated by your dedication towards fitness and your "RULES". Sir you are a great mentor! Keep inspiring us! Will keep learning from you 😊🙌
You all are really mean lot to me as a modern navigator you all are really working hard to influence in the field so the competition is going to be tougher quite challenging so the best one will move the world... Mr. karanvir really love you brother. Dreaming to sail with such personality ❤
I need to know if I can use electricity on the ship for recreational purposes like playing games on the computer or PlayStation, and how long I can use it. Is it available during all free time, or only for a short, specific period?"
I am sure someone played the "Your Monthly electricity bill" joke on you man. 😂 Don't worry! As long as you don't trip the breakers or trigger a fire alarm 😅 you can use it as per your needs. Just plug out chargers before leaving the cabin.
@@sohampaul1994 Hhhh, thank God! hopefull, I won’t reach the point of a power cut 😂 But really, I’ll try to be careful and unplug the chargers when I’m done
Sir, I need your help..... I was trying for August 2024 DNS batch but I didn't cleared any exam. Now, I had cleared SIMS ESM (Executive Ship Management) exam and interview, and got an offer letter for February 2025 DNS batch. So, sir I want to know that is this company good to go.........? Please answer me.......😢🙏
You mentioned the saying of "A girl in every port". If that saying was true it surely doesn't apply for today's seamen as you hardly have time to rest let alone going ashore due to work pressure and no time in port. There was also a saying (which in fact was true) "Ships are made of Iron and Seamen made of Steel" ;).. Keep up the good work and looking forward for your Onboard blogs where you belong ;)
sir after seeing your videos' I get to know much more about merchant navy and it motivate me to be a seafarers in future . sir now I am in class 12 and will give my board exam in 2025 and planning to give sponsorship exam of merchant navy. Get emotionally & mentally very hard. Because even today most of Cadets face very very harsh time as new joiners. It's not impossible but definitely very very tough.
