I agree!! Bharat runs through my veins. Despite being born in NY, USA, when I hear the Indian national anthem, my emotions stir with a great longing and intense love. I am Indian, as are my children!! Even my husband who was born in Pakistan must concede that Bharat is motherland for many more outside the "Indian" population census.

There are millions of us across the globe. Our ancestors experienced many hardship, turmoil, heartache etc. and I am grateful that they protected and preserved our Dharma. My prayer is that the young people will have the consciousness to defend and protect our Dharma and implement all that is discussed here.

A personal experience I had in India. A few years ago I went to Tamil Nadu. At Arunachaleswarar Temple a sadhu gave me a Rudraksha and he put it on my neck as a choker. I was so happy with his gift! A few days later I went to Kerala, to Periyar Park. A woman stopped me very angry asking me why I was wearing the Rudraksha, who gave me permission for that. She even asked me to take it off, that I wasn't a Shiva bhakta, that it is not my culture or religion. I stayed calmed, looked at her and told her that she was so wrong, assuming things about people she doesn't even know. And I told her why she was wearing jeans and a shirt, that's not her culture, that's Western clothing. She was taken aback and I left her with her thoughts. In India many people think they are the only ones entitled to worship Ishvara in its many forms. Even in temples, when I visit temples, they give me the cold shoulder and priests don't treat me with the same respect everyone deserves. Hope this documentary reaches many people, so they can reflect on their attitudes and prejudice towards others.

This is the reason for the fall and the suffering of the great culture. People who chant and worship using these "sanatana (ancient)" scriptures believe that they know it and those who do not are treated differently. This is nothing but ignorance, and for this reason you don't have to be stop worshipping as "Shiva/Rudra" resides within you. I salute (namaskara) to you and the shiva within you.

Here's something interesting: Isha is an ancient Vedic name for God. I think it refers to Lord Shiva. A similar word is Issa...one of the names for Jesus! Actually the word Jesus is a misnomer. The Greek word was Iesous. Yehoshua in Hebrew. Using J instead of Y was from a mixup from reading German.

Greetings from Prague, Czech Republic. Thank you very much for your amazing work, dedicated to the amazing cultural heritage of Bharat. I have a question, that came across my mind, when I was watching your video about sanskrit, or samskrutam: Did Pingala invent his mathematical rules for poetry composers as something new at the time, or had there alredy been some precedents of their application in the vedic literature before him? If so, did the rhytmisation of the vedic literature serve a purpose of better memorising the stuff in terms of oral tradition? The oldest literature anywhere, as far as I know, is epic poems. And I think the rhymes were a kind of a mnemotechnic. For example, Homer was a singer who sang his Illias and Odisey. Which implies som kind of rhytmisation as well. Maybe, the other purpose of this musical properties of the oldest literary traditions was the precise conservation of the original lyrics, prevention of them against changes through out the long periods of time. It is sad, if 99% of todays Indians are not familiar with this astonishing cultural heritage of what I personaly consider the craddle of humanity. I.e. the ancient Bharat.

A correction on Mahamrityunjaya Mantra. The word "Mrityunjaya" means - Victory over Death, the complete meaning: The Great Death-Conquering mantra. Its purpose is not to seek a painless death but rather to defeat death when there's no other way. It's also recited when one wishes to attain liberation from the cycle of life and death. A similar mantra is - Mrityunjaya Stotram.

String has made an amazing video about varna system and caste system.... we all think each caste & their father and forefather belong to same caste, however, when we go to temples we were always asked our Gothra. Gothra is in reaction to clan or bloodline from Saptharishi's. So surprisingly Kashyapa gothra exists in all varnas and all castes and same with other gothras such as Atreyasa, Bharadwajasa, Vishwamithrasa.. etc So there was never caste system until thousand years before but always Varna system was there which was never discriminatory at all.

One thing I have come to realise is how Sanatan Festivals or occasions and daily life incorporates all Varnas of society that makes all Varnas have income and prosperity in life....which is sadly vanishing by people adopting western ideologies and lifestyle......
Just see how in a marriage...Carpenters, Lonia(Nail cutters and groomers), basket makers Cooks , Brahmins, ...etc all Varnas come to have some Important duty to be done during a marriage and ensures all of them have sustainable income..... I really liked this when I observed...unlike the modern day where one beautician or Organiser will handle everything else.... charging lakhs......People don't really have any interaction with the community members...whereas before we used to know every Chachi that is involved in the marriage and we used to call her or him from our neighbourhood respectfully...I really miss those days.

Excellent you tube. We need more young minds like you to protect this world. As I understand shri Rudram in short is as under:
Rudra is the presiding diety of of Human ego. we recite rudra to bring down our ego so that we can reduce our Rakshas mind to destroy this world consisting enviornment, animal, plant kingdom etc. Here we are reminding ourselves everthing is connected to every thing. Any destruction of one link will lead to destruction of this world. To day the ego of each person has gone to point of no return. Be it in family, state,,country, caste etc. each one wants to kill others to show their superiority. This is nothing but demonstration of Ego. Rudram and chamakam is being recited requesting that force, which can keep the human ego under control.

5:11 sir your work is very good but 1 little correction. Hindu don't have caste system instead we have varna system. Varna system is division of society as per work. However what is wrongly understood as caste system is in our society is "social malpractice" and it is wrong. Every religion have it islam has 72 and Christianity also has 6. Hindu society is the only society which has taken steps to bridge the division.

Shiv and Shakti represent all the languages of reality - science, arts, commerce, law etc. The most wonderful part about Shiv's philosophy is how simple and logical it is. You can interpret Shiv in any form you want. As long as you take Shiv's philosophy and use it to only to know yourself better and better, you have become a part of his vast Consciousness. If that's not moksha, I don't know what is.

Firstly, Thank you very much for the video!! want to add some more details I gathered from my Grandfather, on Namakam. The `worldly' meaning of Namakam describes, as you said, that Rudra resides in every person, animal, tree etc. However, it could simply be said in one statement that Rudra resides in everything in this World and Universe. But the single statement won't create the psychological impact of saying that Rudra resides in the tree, the leaves, a dog, the dog protector, the one who betrays, the one who gets betrayed, a thief, the chief, the servant, the rivers etc. This is to put the message piece by piece in the mind of the reader.
Next, the mantras also have `udaatta' and `anudattas', the phonetics. The recitation of the mantras, while following the phonetics, produces an effect on the reader (on his mind, body & soul) and also on the surrounding environment. Now this may sound a bit bizarre. But there is a simple analogy to this: consider a popular movie song which is liked by many. Won't the song produce a kind of `good' feel and effect on the singer and the listeners? Now consider just humming the tune without the lyrics; this also has got some degree of effect. Now what exactly is the meaning of this `good' effect, can it be described in an absolute sense ? No. Similarly, but NOT in an exact sense, the mantras, in which the words and the phonetics are an integral part, also have an effect on the reader and the surroundings. So, the reader may or may not be aware of the meaning of the words, but the recitation itself produces an effect.

BRILLIANT presentation. Thanks. Part 2 on more in depth analysis of Sri Rudram is definitely warranted.
Just about the odd and even number sequences, odd numbers represent 'spiritual growth', the Creator while even numbers represent 'material wealth', the Creation.
In essence Siva is both the Creator and the Creation, hence through His grace to blesses us with both material wealth and spiritual growth in a balanced manner.
Curios to know about the 0.5 increment of bulls, cows & calves.

For the criptic numbers interested subscribers/viewers may read/listen from Shri K.Suresh ji (as far as I remember) of Ghanapathi channel. Hi, thank you for the informative video. I have heared that urvarakam means cucumber. There is a video made by other guy named Praveen Mohan in that he says just like you said and in addition to that like the ripen cucumber how it detached itself from the plant and after detachment from the top the seeds will spread over and around the ground and thus the possibility of her life will start. That's what I understand from his video. You said you are doing documentary on zinc, so if possible please do documentary on padmini vidya. It is all about knowledge on metals I.e 9 or 12 I don't know particular number but if you have time please do on it. I don't know any trusted resources other than your channel and Praveen Mohan's. Your every video take us from darkness to light
Your soul is definitely a sage
And your tapasya is this much research you do to enlighten ignorant soul like us
    As far as I know
Caste system was somehow misinterpreted by britisher to divide us
In particular the caste word is itself come from portuguese
and dalit we know is not old
Even this Varna system the socio economic framework was prevalent in other countries too
For example the knight ,manor, lord, serf division of European countries
But what Britishers did is to divide us on basis of casteism why they don't talk about their caste system
The munro report establish that it was shudra who were more in numbers studying in gurukul by brahmin teacher
    That why Britishers banned gurukula
I believe there is no caste system only the Varna system
Present days who proudly says i belong to kshatriya ,brahmin or so on .. they must know they are not even vaishya
Because in Varna system the Brahmin Kshatriya vaishya were called DVIJA( which means second birth and the second birth can only happen after receiving education
The one who is educated was called DVIJA but this education was about shastra Gyan, scriptures knowledge in our gurukul not like our modern day education)
and who is not dvija( shudras) is the one who has not gain knowledge the real knowledge the truth and he is not even interested to study shastra just like we so called modern day youth
So, basically most of us are all shudras as we hadn't received the real knowledge
Even in Bhagavad Gita bhagwan said -the four Varna classification are based on their work
I think our constitution and present system has strengthened the caste system rather than ending it.
    Thanks for your hard work
Plus i am waiting for the chidambaram documentary you had promised in one of your earlier videos

The caste system is artificially concreted on the basis of birth instead of the natural Varna system which is based on the most pronounced inclination of every human being.
Every Shudra naturally chooses Kama (pleasure) as a priority (personal pleasure above all)
Every Vaishya naturally chooses Arta (economic values) as a priority
He is ready to sacrifice personal pleasure to enrich his family and blood relatives
Every Kshatriya naturally chooses Dharma (righteousness) as a priority
He is willing to sacrifice both the personal pleasure and well-being of his family members for the purpose of preserving peace within the entire community
Every Brahmana naturally chooses Moksha (liberation) as a priority
Love for the truth is more important to him than his pleasure, the wealth of his blood relatives and peace between members of the community
Proof of Varna's variability is the story of a boy born to a prostitute mother who asked a priest to accept him as a student. The teacher sent him to ask his mother who his father was. The boy went and asked his mother: who is my father. The mother said she did not know because she had more than one man. When the boy returned to the teacher to inform him of the answer, he said he did not know who his father was. The teacher was pleased and initiated the disciple by saying: you are a Brahman because you are inclined to the truth, You could have lied to me and told anyone but you have chosen the truth regardless of the possible consequences of rejection.

I'am a brahmin and not every brahmin choses moksh, moksh can be attained by anyone, its not anyone's power, except the truth(Brahm).
Brahmin's work is to give or introduce the society with what is wrong and what is right, and to give the path to attain moksh.

@@ayushpandey-kh8ft your jaati is brahmin, and jaati is not varna, jaati is merely that somewhere in the past some of your ancestors were brahmin and due to many reasons including nepotism your ancestors decided to do brahmin work even if they were not brahmin by varna. So merely being of brahmin jaati has no real varna value if your own personal varna is not brahmin. To check each individual’s Varna you need to check your Kundli. I am from Srivastava clan, but my own personal Varna according to my Kundli is Brahmin, and i all the time i think about moksha, Brahmand, and Satya, as rightly mentioned by the person above. Clan=Jaati, Varna=the pursuit of ‘your’ Atma.

Because these are written by Bramhins, they were actually scientists clan who wrote a lot in cryptic version of conveying message to generations, not to show supremacy, but to pass on the knowledge to the right disciples who understood the hidden meaning and application of science, who underwent training as per their inclination towards positive thoughts and buliding of nation.
Coming to the point it can state the importance of fission fusion reactions, as we understand by the description of Daiviya Astras, that they could possibly be nuclear weapons

Is it not of seeking a painless death instead of immortality - like explained in the video.
In the Vedic sense - finite endeavors (due to ignorance) are akin to death, whereas infinite endeavors (with knowledge/ vidya) leads to immortality, in the sense, there is no "death" for one who is awakened.
