Yes to those stories that are not traditionally beautiful! This is such an excellent point about God's love for us, and how forgiveness and redemption work. Not to mention, a story without challenges or our hero falling, can be rather boring. Much rather read a story of overcoming and conquer than just happy trails. 😅💕💕
“The Holy Spirit is the supreme educator of mankind…”My favorite Charlotte mason quote of all time ! I need to get that printed into our homeschool room
I love these videos. They are so fascinating! I really love that you are diving deep into Charlotte Mason Principles and so excited for your next one! 💕💕
Thanks for sharing mama! I have used classical education/ Charlotte Mason since I started homeschooling! It works so well as a large family because we can learn everything together & not have to buy a million books lol 😆♡
I think the bible should be visual in education but u may or may not see a bible passage in the lessons but u can see God in the lesson!!! We often have worship music playing thruout the day!!! We also go to a church that doesn’t sing hymns and I feel like that’s ok as we used to go to an traditional church and they have been taught exposed to them and sometimes we have hymns playing as we love what the hymn is speaking about!!! We watch some science videos that aren’t Christian and I often pause and explain creation and speak bout how eloution doesn’t make sense. Sorry I can’t spell. My daughter is obsessed with Justin Bieber and it’s made 4 conversations about redemption even though she doesn’t understand what took place when he made mistakes. We have conversations about how faith changes everyday life.
This is all great!! We used to go to a more traditional church in the past, too, so my kids have exposure to both modern and traditional music 💜💜 Thank you so much for sharing!
Yes! I love the resources from Not Consumed - store.notconsumed.com?aff=102 She has some great family devotions and some devotions for kids. And any of the Kay Arthur books are great independent studies for kids - amzn.to/3C6SkDb. But an awesome (and FREE!) independent Bible curriculum is Easy Peasy Homeschool - allinonehomeschool.com/bible-year-1-2/
