We discovered after filming that we had left the speakers up a little bit. It's not terrible for most of it but there are some weird parts. We apologize but we can't change the audio after it's been recorded. Reactions have a lot of moving parts trying to get the video and audio just right. Due to the nature of the live recording we cannot redo them as the reactions that are captured are genuinely done in the moment. Sorry again. We'll pay closer attention to this in the future!!
The best video I have ever seen that shows what you were talking about Mike Control is Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa I'd Rather Go Blind live in Amsterdam you see Beth doing it a few times through the song she has such a powerful voice and Joe's solo in this masterpiece cover of the Etta James song is beyond amazing.
In Burden of Time Miyako plays guitar and keyboard at the same time Lovebites Burden of Time ruclips.net/video/-7xgooEtZL0/видео.html
I wondered what was going on. Usually your audio is crystal clear.
I knew it was a backing track played by her but didn't know she could control it via her pedalboard. That's very cool! @BzhMopar22
The piano intro was from Romantic era composer Frédéric Chopin's Étude Op. 10, No. 12 in C minor, also known as the "Revolutionary Étude". It is a notoriously difficult piece to play because of the relentless use of the left hand and Miyako, the lead guitarist/pianist extraordinaire, made it look easy. Miyako is a classically-trained pianist since the age of 3. She composes and arranges about half of Lovebites' discography, and she likes to seamlessly integrate neoclassical metal elements into some of her songs like this one. Essentially, she's a genius and a prodigy. "A Frozen Serenade" LIVE next : ruclips.net/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/видео.html
The songbook of this phenomenal band contains only gems. But *Swan Song* is one of their most impressive - every nanosecond of it. A classic already.
Few people comments, but Asami performs the Swan from start to finish.
Miyako played classical piano from the age of 3. It shows.
The bass player audition video is interesting. The Japanese culture is fun to watch. Thanks for reacting to this band. Chopin was Polish, but spent most of his life in France. Others will know more. The backing tracks make sense at the end.
Chopin was Polish. He was exiled to Paris. The Warsaw international airport (capital of Poland) has his name
Yeah polish, you know, the people who are living off the money french and german people are stupid enough to give them every year within the European Community, money with which they buy american stuff...
This song shows why Lovebites are undoubtedly one of the most musically talented metal bands on the planet.
Well said!
Frozen Serenade is another such epic by the girls. Definitely a showpiece for Asami's bellet skill as well Miyako and Midori adding some extra textures as well.
+1
I agree. "Frozen Serenade" is a masterpiece - one of the best metal songs ever written in my opinion.
Also, its "ballet".
Masterpiece. One of the most amazing performances I have ever seen. I suggest checking out Frozen Serenade next.
That cute kitten behind the drums is killing it, she is a badass machine!! ❤
Next Lovebites song: "A Frozen Serenade" Live!
This is an absolute masterpiece. Miyako is unreal
PERFECT BAND🔥PERFECT SONG🔥LOVEBITES PERFECTION FOREVER👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Great reaction bros🤘🏻🐺🤘🏻
Miyako is what you get when a classically trained pianist decides at the age of NINETEEN to teach herself how to play guitar from a book ! You have to be some kind of very special musician to do that - it's truly mind blowing !

Nothing Lovebites cant do ! All these ladies are next level artists !
LOVEBITES - Swan Song lyrics:
If this was the last day you could live on this earth
Would you still go on, accusing someone for today
It’s better to fail than not do anything at all
It is not the length, but depth of life that counts
Oh brave soldier
Oh gallant warrior
Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla
Believe what’s in your soul
For death will come to all
You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan
If you’ve never hoped, you’ve never been though despair
Ignorance is bliss, it’s easier to not care
You might think it’s meaningless to sacrifice a life
Sometimes the life of one can save so many more
Oh brave soldier
Oh gallant warrior
Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla
Believe what’s in your soul
For death will come to all
You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan
SOLO: miyako / both
Floating lotus
You are so graceful
Saintly and glorious
Till the end of time
Floating lotus
You are so beautiful
Sing me your sweet song
The legend of the swan

Thank you for checking this out. Yes, right now there isn't an official version of this posted. Chopin (yes, pronounced Show-pan) was a Polish-born Romantic-era (1800’s) classical composer and piano virtuoso who lived most of his life in France. He is considered one of the great classical composers, specializing in highly technical works for piano. Miyako, who composes a lot of Lovebites’ music, is a professional-level concert pianist, and was originally going to make classical music her career. When she was 18, she picked up a guitar, and is now (quite obviously) an elite-level guitarist. She particularly likes the Romantic Era classical composers like Debussy, Dvořák and Chopin, as well as the Russian romantic composer Rachmaninoff. She composed “Swan Song” using elements of the New World Symphony (Dvořák) and Chopin’s Revolutionary Etude (official name Étude Opus 10, No. 12 in C minor). For this performance, she actually played the Etude as a prelude, but it’s not normally included in their shows.
Due to the social environment and public awareness in Japan, many families let their children learn to play musical instruments. Therefore, I think that more than 50% of musicians belonging to Japanese rock bands can play the piano. Many junior high and high schools in Japan have brass band clubs and light music clubs, so there are many rock musicians who can play instruments other than the piano. But a pianist with Miyako's level of talent is rare.
If the band composer has a good pianist, I think it's highly likely that the songs they produce will also be of good quality. If you search in Japan, you will find examples such as "Wagakki Band". (Yuko Suzuhana, lead vocalist of Wagakki Band, is also a professional pianist.)

*It is a sentence using Google translation. I hope I conveyed my intentions correctly.
The Chopin piece Miyako (guitar/keyboards) is playing in the intro is "Etude OP10, No. 12" known as the "Revolutionary Etude."
In 1831, some officers and citizens rose up against the Polish government, which was under the de facto control of the Russian Empire, in what was called the "November Revolution" but ended in failure due to the direct intervention of Russian troops. Chopin received this news during a performance tour. He never set foot on the soil of his homeland again. When the Russians invaded Warsaw, Chopin's agent presented "Etude OP10, No. 12" in Paris. Because of the agent's exaggerated publicity, people called this piece "Revolutionary Etude.
Miyasako composed "Swan Song" based on this "Revolutionary Etude" and Dvorak's "New World Symphony.
Asami (vocalist), a former ballerina, wrote the lyrics based on the historical background of "Revolutionary Etude" and inspired by Norse mythology and the ballet suite "Swan Lake.
"SwanSong" is a requiem dedicated to the warriors who fought to reclaim their homeland, a masterpiece that only LOVEBITES could complete.
Masterpiece.. multi-talented musicians, brilliantly composed song..👍👍🤘
Welcome back and thank you for doing this reaction to lovebites again, Miyako fingers faster than my eyes can follow, OMG so good, LOVEBITES ROCK
The word Etude is translated as Study. The Chopin piece was written to be practice for the left hand. This is a challenging left-hand study. Blending it into a rock song is even more impressive. Such talented musicians.
Something went wrong with the compile or upload. A nasty rattling blown speaker sound in there, somehow.
The ladies always stun, no matter what they play.
Another song mayiko plays the keyboard and guitar at the same time , one hand on the key board the other on the guitar , she is a musical genius . She also writes most of love bites songs and composes them
Behold, the power of Miyako!
One of my many favorites from LOVEBITES 🎸🎹🐺
More songs with piano from Miyako, some with acoustic guitar from Midori and fire vocals by Asami:
Epilogue
Empty Daydream
Edge of the world
A Frozen serenade
And very different is the song Spellbound (Miyako plays keys too, but not what you expect 😉 )
And yes, the drummer of Jinjer plays classical piano too. And he does also jazz stuff on the drums. And really have the feeling hearing not only rhythm in his drum playing, but also some kinds of melodies …
The girls from the Warning also learned playing piano as kids.
That’s one reason why these bands are all so good. Because they have a solid music education. And of course they have the talent and the passion …
Spellbound was .... awesome the first time I saw the live video 🙂
@@BayneUpton Yepp, Miyako doesn't even touch a guitar in that one, but its great fun 😍😍🤘🏼🤘🏼
I love Spellbound, it is such a lot of fun. Another great one is Burden of Time where Miyako plays keys and guitar at the same time, so awesome to watch.
@@one42chrisp how could I forget about burden of time in my list of piano featured songs
@@stand.and.deliver.5 No worries, I got your back!😀
Miyako was a child prodigy on piano. She started playing when she was around 4 years old. She didnt pick up a guitar until she was 16 years old.
Miyako is The Jedi of Metal 😂🤘
Lovebites forever, forever Lovebites🔥🤘🐺🇯🇵..i'm just hoping that they'd play in my country indonesia 🇮🇩 one day..they've played in singapore in 2020,so it's possible that they will play in here someday..
🐺LOVEBITES RULES🐺
Love this song but I love Lovebites!
Very nicely done!
Swan Song.. The most beautiful metal song ever composed and played.. It's my favorite song...
Miyako is classicaly trained pianist since the age if 3. She took guitar at 18 yrs old. Most Lovebites songs she composes, plays bass too and drumms a little bit. Miyako can do everything. There are no limits for her. Asami (vocalist) said something like: Every band needs to have Miyako, but only we have her... Swan Song is one of her masterpieces. And she has few of them. Lovebites is truly something special. These girls are making metal beautiful again. Gotta love them.
Hello from France:
If the introduction is indeed an extract from the Etude Op. 10, No. 12 in C minor, called "Revolutionary Etude" by the romantic Polish Chopin (who lived a long time in France, hence the frequent confusion), Miyako at the end of the song, as a conclusion, glides over the finale of Dvorak's "New World Symphony". What talent !
Quel talent !]
The mid song piano is on a backing track, it was recorded by Miyako.
More LOVEBITES, try Break The Wall.
I haven't read the comments already posted, but I'm sure someone has already let you know that Miyako (the guitarist on the right) isn't actually a guitar player so much as she's a concert level pianist. Not only that, but she arranges most of their songs (including this one). Chopin has several études (French for "studies"), which are primarily left-hand piano pieces. A lot of left-hand studies are boring, but Chopin made them sound like actual music. The Revolutionary étude, which Miyako is playing (Opus 10, No.12) was inspiration for her in this composing this song. Her outro (and the backing tracks during the chorus) are inspired by Chopin. She is a world-class musician, but when placed in a band with so many world-class musicians, seems like just one of the gals.
In the song "Burden Of Time", Miyako plays guitar and keyboard at the same time!
Chopin was born in Poland,he spent some time in Paris, but he was a Polish composer. Just saying :)
Tons of guitarists do lead with the neck pickup.... awesome sound if the guitar is on the bright side, or if your neck pickup has lots of presence or can be split single coil or run in parallel mode... just a more exciting and expressive tone on some guitars.
😀😀😀😀😀 Greetings from Argentina
As far as I can remember, Chopin was Polish/ German.
This song is a masterpiece. For more nice piano by Miyako I recommend “Edge of the world” (concert “Five of a kind”, 2020), and “Empty daydream” and “Epilogue” (both from “Daughters of the dawn”, 2019). Yes, Lovebites is beyond belief.
Changing between instruments, well she even does both: ruclips.net/video/4OBf_Gn8efs/видео.html
Kinda takes your breath away, huh!! Miyako began piano lessons at 3 yo, at 18 she decided she wanted to go into Metal Music. Got a guitar and a "How To" book, No Lessons, Self Taught. First riffs learned were by Metallica!!
The piano is a backing track, recorded by Miyako.
To Everyone, after listening the first time, Go Back and concentrate on Haruna, drums!!! All Lovebites songs!
Miyako - Music and Arrangement Asami - Lyrics. FYI Asami also plays piano.
You want to see the girls having fun take a peek at Dancing with the Devil live. You will not be dissapointed. Even Miyaku is jumping around.
If you look closely, as Miyako moves back to the piano, at 14:20 she throws her pick in the crowd and at 14:25 in a half mix she takes off her guitar
Masterpiece🤘🏻🐺🤘🏻
🤘🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🤘
In background there is another Chopin etude: Ocean recorded by Miyako and envolved at the end, mix with a Symphony from the new World (Dvorak)!
The noise in this video is terrible. What is the cause?
Your headphones or speakers?
@@nahadoth2087 I can hear that too

@@danbuter Perhaps, it may be difficult for people who hear this sound source (video) for the first time to understand. However, to my ears, who have listened to it several dozen times, the distorted sound is unbearable.
Of all the songs to mess up your sound recording on……😂😂😂😂
🤘
Miyako is playing the piano in this song. Who plays the piano on "Today is the day" and "We the united"? 😁
この曲ではミヤコがピアノを弾いていますが、
「Today is the day」と「We the united」では誰がピアノを弾いているのでしょうか?
From the same concert, to see them have some fun, watch "Raise Some Hell". For a great intro into the encore, "The Awakening/Hammer of Wrath", and for a great guitar solo duel and harmonization, "We the United". All from this concert. A song that I have been getting fond of is "Shadowmaker". Something about that song brings out the headbanger in me.
Miyako Magic!
I believe Miyako has been playing piano since the age of 3. I heard she didn't play guitar until she was 18.
Midori started play the piano at 2 years old only giving up when she went to university. She started to play the guitar later than Miyako at the age of twenty ! At twenty she dropped out of university where she was studying pharmacy to attend one of Japan’s premier music schools to study guitar and the rest is history.
@@timfrancis879 😎Thanks for the info
Miyako does incredible switching to piano and back to guitar again in this clip Rising ruclips.net/video/6nci8KtXJPk/видео.html&pp=ygUQbG92ZWJpdGVzIHJpc2luZw%3D%3D, and this song has great solos of the guitar duo. Chopin is Polish composer he was born in Warsaw and spend his childhood in Poland. His parents father frenchnman and mother pole are buried in warsaw. The Fryderyk Chopin grave with body is in Paris and hearth in Warsaw. This song is the mega masterpiece.❤🎤⭐️🥁🎸🎸🎸
Small detail, Chopin wasn't French, he was Polish
All the members of Lovebites are talented. Speaking of guitar and piano, Check out Tina S playing Beethoven Moonlight Sonata - 3rd movement on guitar. Stellar!!
Thank you for the reaction, guys!
But man, it's so much better if you watch this performance with subtitle, so you can understand the story from the song..
This song is like a grief and hope, that's why they playing it seriously..
It's not like they don't want to running around the stage like the other band, it's just the song that is not suitable for having fun like that..
They did running around the stage on some performance in this concert..
I'm waiting for your next reaction, guys!
Keep it up, and hope y'all have a great day! 👍🏻
That was Miyako Watanabe. She is an amazing pianist. In some songs she can play both keys and guitar at the same time. This is something unbelievable.
Thank you for the reaction. More Lovebites on the channel.
Higher range... Next up for range surely must be Judgement Day or When Destinies Align. That's upper range...
If you want watch something else of incredible: their studio live in 2020:" Burden of time"! Thanks.
Miho Miho Miho! really really really tried to watch this but the bleed-thru is awful sorry
Sorry i only noticed it in a few places!
