From the beginning, LOVEBITES have worked with Finnish engineers Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila for mixing and mastering their albums and live bluray - I wish more bands would use such talented engineers.
Mikko mixed their EP, yes, but I heard from my colleague, who works with Nightwish and knows Mikko, that he didn't work with the bands live recordings until this gig. And it's not only Mikko who has to know their stuff. There has to be very good technicians and stage hands that mic the drums and ensure they get good feeds from instruments and that there's minimal amount of bleed (choice of mics and reducing stage volume with in-ears and having very good singer who knows how to handle a mic properly) It's a large undertaking, takes way more time to build teh stage and set up, but Mikko knows his team and they're absolutely the best in business. And Lovebites had the money to do this properly and book the venue for long enough to get it good. Because you can't polish a turd, honestly... if it's shit when you record it live, then you'd have to RE-RECORD it in the studio after the gig... and that would be totally counter-intuitive to do and waste of money. So we know this gig is the real deal. Compression, EQ, tweaking the delay and reverb and there you go. If you have good recording from the get go... you get very good sounding material.
this is not the best girl band, this is not the best metal band, this is the best band in the world today!!! (IMHO) forever LOVEBITES, forever wolfpack,
Every Lovebites song is awesome! If you want heavier song try the song "Set the world on fire" or "Break the wall". Thanks for the reaction. More Lovebites on the channel.
Thank you for jumping on this so quickly. It is the most reacted-to of their live clips, and gives a pretty good idea of their style and capabilities. All you need now is to check out Swan Song (you got that recommendation several times on the last video) so you can see Miyako do her magic on the piano. Yes, there is post-production, but no amount of production can correct outright mistakes. And Lovebites almost never make mistakes.
@@offseteraofficialband I'm glad you do. Ready for another one? In metal, it is a cardinal sin to stop the music in the middle of a guitar solo. Cheers!
GREAT REACTION! What I like about you guys is you can see that you are true reactors listening to the music and amazed as much as we are with this band!🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I seen them live in Edinburgh and Newcastle UK when they were on tour with Dragonforce i think all the instruments have to go for therapy after each gig ha ha.
Aren't they just super awesome guys. Could see you both getting into it. Their songs are so well structured and played with such precision and raw talent. Lovebites are a major talent right now and I see huge success for them in the future. Good vid guys, some really good points made and no bs at all.... had to sub.....
Keep reacting to their live versions, they are all great. A really good studio version, with a more raw sound imo is Stand and Deliver, their latest video release. And if you like to see them in their street closes and having a lot of fun in the studio, this is enjoyable too 🤘🏼🐺🎸
Love the reaction, the geek remarks were especially great. This is usually the first tune LIVE for most reactors and yet this doesn't make their top 10 list. If this was mind blowing try Swan Song with Chopin Etude intro (yeah classical piano and metal) or Frozen Serenade for piano and acoustic guitar. After that pick anything as these women can't compose or play a bad song. Some songs like this are less epic but there are no duds period. Been with the Wolfpack since 2017 and finally, these monsters are getting some well earned and deserved recognition. Great one guys but this hole is deep and the talent endless, been in it for decades with no end in sight.
I agree, this recording shows more „pure“ live sound in good quality ruclips.net/video/H9mS9JRvlMw/видео.html back then, they played only 2 years together and m+m began playing guitar only a few years earlier. They startet at around age 20 …
yes - the sound crew is amazing and are masters of the mix. even with post production everyone that has been to one of their live shows says that this is pretty much what you are hearing in a concert. the instruments are spot on the vocalist asami does not know what it means to hit an off note. best i've seen in many years. i must see them live while i'm still above ground.
yeah, the production team can actually edit the sound if the band sound is sloppy.. but Lovebites is a band full of musician.. there's no way they sound sloppy.. if they didn't sound good, then it should be the speaker or might be the mixing itself, not the band..
Great reaction guys and glad you recognize their talent, especially live. Doing great with all the reactions and you teased us with the Thunder Vengeance live thumbnail so hope that is somewhere on the list to come as that is an absolute banger of a song! it is the 2020 show opener and THAT is how you open a show, good GOD! Keep it up! 🤘
Next live songs Set The World On Fire, The Hammer Of Wrath, Raise Some Hell, Break The Wall, Scream For Me, Thunder Vengeance, another songs react to both MV/LIVE, Glory To The World(MV/LIVE), Winds Of Transylvania(MV/LIVE), When Destinies Align(MV/LIVE), Shadow Maker(MV/LIVE),
This is the song and video that helped Lovebites Blow up on YT. One of the most impressive bands I have Ever heard. Literally. You are right about remixing the Live sound however from many first hand accounts their live sound in person is nearly identical too what you hear on the DVD's. Lovebites invests much in their Awesome live sound gear and House mixing.
When you book local venues, the crew has more time to set-up and soundcheck. Making everything as clean and tight as they can get it. When you tour in other countries, you are at the mercy of rented equipment, and foreign crews. You don't have control over all the variables. We all know what happened to Lovebites at Bloodstock. The band is still great, but the live sound may not be. Typically, the more you pay, the better it should be. But not every band can pay the stage/sound team a million bucks. Megadeth can, but Lovebites is not on that level yet.
All the lives the drums are not mixed as high. Now you want azz kicking drums listen to their CD Clockwork Immortality. Any drum fan would drool over the way that is mixed. Haruna will use the kick almost like an accent drum. Break the Wall she uses gaps in the kick. She does have a unique gallop you can hear on quite a few tracks. IMO Swan Song is a drumming masterpiece that most overlook. Listen back to this how she dramatically changes from Miyako's solo to Midori's. Noticed on many many songs she will alter on each half of the chorus. Stand and Deliver she is rapid fire on the kick in one half then after the words "shoot 'em down" she folds the kick back. Brilliant the use of change ups she does. The lives do have flaws in them. If they were full on studio polish those would have been fixed. Miyako throws a huge clam on Daughters of the Dawn on the song Edge of the World and a second later she shakes her head knowing she hit a sour note.
Mixed & mastered at Finnvox studio, but so are their studio recordings. The better the initial recording, the better the master.........can be ! ❤️🎙🎸🎹🥁😎🤘
Yes, that is a star shaped cymbal. Haruna does use them and it spins when she does. Another fun song from then is " Raise Some Hell" from this same show. The ladies have a lot more interaction & movement.
try shadow maker from Wacken 2018 youll see a better idea live without processing and how damn good they still are they tore that show up and had the tent overflowed and going off

There’s another band you guys should react to… the band is called Asterism… a three-piece Japanese metal band with lots of talent… if you want to see some incredible guitar playing you got a watch this band… I recommend a song called Dawn live 2019…
If you study their song writing/composition, the mastering of their instruments/live performances, you will see that they are the most talented band on earth. The best transitions/fills in music, best twin guitars hands down.. Only 55+ songs to go.
Don't forget about Symphony X. Romeo was doing this kinda stuff 20 years ago. Between Iron Maiden / Judas Priest and Lovebites... we had 25+ years of Symphony X. A lot of people seemed to miss that era for some reason.
I'm glad you are pointing out that the live sound on modern music is heavily processed in the studio. There is sort of a trend on the tube that all live performances are better then the music videos. Either you go see the band live for real or listen to a bootleg recording to get a sense of how a band sounds live, and if you go to a live show you will meet alot of fun and cool people. 😊
I have never seen Lovebites live but I have seen Joe Satriani live at the Zenith in Paris. And I can tell you that the sound quality of this concert was equivalent to that of a CD with the super power of sound. And it's been many years now. So I can imagine the same sound quality live in a Lovebites concert, especially in Japan in a medium-sized venue, because the Japanese are on the cutting edge of instrumental technology.
Just came across y'all's channel this week, and am enjoying your reactions and your music; so, you get a thumbs up and sub from this ye ole metal-head. I do tend to listen to more metal but good music is good music. Of the few of your songs I've hit play on, "If You Want It" may be my favorite thus far. The bass groove in that track really slaps. Aye. A lot of the live shows from bands that go on DVDs as well as those official live videos and live studio performances have some degree of post-production going on. I know some fans take offense to that when someone points it out, but it doesn't take away from the talent of the musicians. I've also been to some live shows where the combination of the talent of the band, the sound system at the venue, and the techs and sound people, it would have needed very little post-production the performance was that good. Saw Skid Row and Pantera at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA back in December of '91 and that concert is up there as far as one of the best live shows I've been too. Same with the Eagles in '94 at the Omni and a number of the Prog Power USA shows in Atlanta have been killer as well, especially the 2015 when I got to see Evergrey and Unleash the Archers. A local punk band, '68, are really good live too. Speaking of live, I am hoping Lovebites comes to the USA near me on their next tour, but I'm so freaking excited as I got tickets to go see Band-Maid's 10th Anniversary tour at the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta in May. Band-Maid is another Japanese group I highly recommend y'all check out to continue down your "J"-Journey. A lot of people react to their "Domination" official live video for the first time but I would recommend either "Dice/Different" or "Manners/Black Hole" official live vids for J-LOD LIVE2. Apologies for the long winded comment. Keep rockin' guys \m/ \m/
I like the version from the 2021 concert better. Downside from that concert is that clapping hands was only allowed, it was during the pandemic. But Asamis voice in that version.. my oh my....by the way.. Lovebites uses backingtrack in some songs as well. Another amazing bad You should check out is the Japanese instrumental metal band Asterism. Start with their first MV Rising Moon and then Dawn (Live)
@@gt1man931 I can agree on that the aftermixing in this version is better but the 2021 concert feels more "real live" in the soundmix. You can hear some very small live glitches in the 2021 that You don't hear in the 2020 concert. They really nailed that concert but I am very pleased how Asami has grown in her voice since this concert...
Best true metal band on the planet. Making old school metal fresh and better. Enjoying your reactions. If you like Maximum the Hormone, Nemophila do a couple of killer covers. Check em out.
There's very little strain in Asami's voice, if any. She is a highly trained professional vocalist. She can do what you're hearing live without the post audio mixing, as can all the girls on their respective instruments. The Japanese are not lazy. They put in their 10,000 hours of practice and much more.

Nightwish has their live material recorded on site _RAW_ multitrack, then it's mixed again (because obviously you have to. When you mix for live, you mix for live... you need completely different mixing for dvd) but it DOESN'T mean they're recomping, reamping nor FIXING mistakes! You can definitely hear mistakes in Nightwish's dvd's. so you can hear mistakes in Lovebites full concert... but not MANY. because they absolutely are that good. I've heard raw recording of the multitracks from NW and from Lovebites and they're stellar... obviously they're mixed again from the recording, but they don't add nor do they remove anything. Because that would be totally wrong and offensive to your fans. I _hate_ bands that are sloppy live, then their DVD sounds amazing and flawless... they're lying to me and I won't listen to bands that have so little confidence in their own skills that they can't do without "studio magic". I want to hear THE BAND as they are. And many do understand this. But why do NW and Lovebites live-stuff sound so awesome? Because they're recorded and mixed by the same people in both of these cases (WAcken 2014 by NW, This gig from Lovebites). And they're worlds top 10 engineers, hands down. Metallica live-stuff sounds horrible, Dream Theater sounds horrible, Dragonforce has horrible sound in all that I've heard... they just don't have a good enough engineers to do live recording properly. Even Lovebites has older live-recordings and dvd's available where you can hear how bad they sounded in the past before they had better engineers in their team and more budget to do it right. But on this gig, they have one of the best in the business. And you can hear it.
You both pick up on great aspects of their playing, and singing. 😊 These ladies are truly exceptional and just wait, there’s a lot more good things to come. Midori, the black haired guitar player, is also an amazing piano player. She started playing at the age of 3. One the song “Swan Song” she starts out by playing a Chopin Etude on the piano. She has also incorporated other classical work in some of her keyboard playing.
Loving your enthusiasm and I agree that the live version benefits from being less "produced" than the studio generally speaking. Also many of their live versions have better arrangements, intros and or outros than the studio equivalents IMO.
The band consciously progresses with each release. As a result there is another live version of Holy War barely 15 months later and the improvement is tangible. Yes they have top notch mixing and mastering but then if you’re a Rolls Royce you don’t leave the garage unpolished…..
It’s great to see musicians reacting to these musicians who deserve much more attention. Japan picked up and dusted off metal where America left sitting in the dust a decade ago. This is just the beginning for you too. You have stumbled upon one of the next greatest metal groups of our lifetime. Unlucky Morpheus is also worthy of looking into.
Somebody must've commented this already that the mixing and post engineering is done by the same Finnish guys did mixing for Nightwish. Lovebites regularly use back tracks of synthesized strings and key boards for extra layers but It is totally alright with me to build epic sound. But the former bassist Miho left the band for that reason, I guess. It is my speculation but Miho has mentioned that she thought the band shouldn't rely on a missile such as shredding guitars, and also said she did not like back tracks and effects. She was a serious metalhead and was the band founder and the leader, and a great fan of Steve Harris and Iron Maiden as you can guess from their Maiden sound. I think Miho wanted Lovebites to be solid and raw metal band as polished Iron Meiden or Judas Priest, an ultimate heavy metal band of the golden age of metal from 80s, but Lovebites wanted to go ahead forward to new horizon of metal with all the tricks and engineering. That is my speculation.
Maybe. But nothing is new here. Other bands have been doing this for a long time. Look at Symphony X and Dream Theater. Instead of two guitars, they have one guitar and one keyboard player. Lovebites has two guitar players, and a part-time keyboard player. Lovebites seems to want both guitars AND keyboards going together, so there has to be a backing track. Either Mao records it, or Miyako records it. If Lovebites wanted to go the DT or SyX route, they would put Miyako on a synth full-time. Maiden added synth sounds on the "Seventh Son" album. Lots of prog and power-metal bands use keyboards. I'm cool with whatever Lovebites wants to do. Their strength is in the songwriting and the talent/skills of the musicians.
@@TheCyberMantis Great comments. I love Miho but I must say she forgot something basic. All the great bands of 80s were not old school when they start playing. They were radical at that point, and Lovebites is doing the same right now.
@@gatograto That is a really good point. Those bands from the 80's were trying to push the boundaries of what had already been done, to create something new and different. I agree.
I TOTALLY get what you mean about over-production. In my opinion Japanese bands often seem to over-produce to a certain degree. Lovebites for example pretty much always sound better and heavier live than on CD in my opinion. With a lot of bands this is especially apparent with vocals, I'd say. Quite a few times I've heard a studio-recording and thought "DAAAAAMN, this guy/girl sounds SOOO good if you just let them do it! WHY did you have to put that much production on the vocals??"
I completely agree with that, it's my biggest gripe with a lot of the Japanese albums I own. I don't think Lovebites falls into this category, but there are plenty of Japanese bands that tend to (imo) kill their songs by overproducing the vocals to the point that they sound more like J-Pop vocals (for lack of a batter word). It's probably a sound that they culturally like and that sells (it's also heavily used in anime soundtracks), but it typically really bounces off of me. There are a couple of bands now that I have basically put on a list of bands that I don't like the studio albums but do enjoy live, including Fate Gear, Bridear, Trident, Hagane and I'm sure there are more. I suspect Lonesome_Blue might be on that list as well, but I haven't heard them live yet. I am really skeptical of buying any of their non-live stuff actually if it doesn't include a live DVD or so. I am not a huge Babymetal fan, but I would put Babymetal on that list as well as their albums are extremely overproduced and while their live stuff is very produced as well, you can certainly hear Su has a good voice on their live stuff while their albums are pure production and auto-tune/pitch-correction. I noticed it especially with Fate Gear and Bridear, I basically wrote them off because of the vocals and gave them a final chance with a ticket to a livestreamed set and I was amazed on how much better their vocalist sounded live. I expected that they weren't that good and put all that production on their vocals to cover it up. That production removes so much soul from their vocals, it's a shame. As far as the live Blu-rays from bands like Lovebites and Band-Maid goes. Yes, they are very produced, but I personally wouldn't call them overproduced. I like their approach on them even though I do love that we nowadays also have livestreamed versions of concerts that are basically untouched as well.
@@MaartenT 100% this! I realised it especially hard when listening to those older Whiskey Dust recordings. In the Live shows, Aya's voice is SO great, with so much soul, I really love it but then I listened to the studio recording and it was like "wtf is this?? Who plastered and deadnt her voice with all those effects and cleanup??"
Great song from them. But still true to my baby metal 👉🦊👈🤘❤️ And just to add to this I wouldn’t know who BABYMETAL was until I watch several videos from a band called Nemophilia who did a cover of midget tuna I love that so much when I typed it in to watch it again my BABYMETAL came up just saw them in Orlando Florida this past year and hoping to see them this year in Las Vegas stay metal thanks for sharing guys I was going to try to play this on my kit. The ride sound you thought you heard was probably the ice bell. Haruna puts it in every now and then and once you know to listen for it, it's everywhere just enhancing the experience. In my opinion there is too much production and overmixed synths on their studio work, at least before the latest one. That one is more "hardcore"...
Although there is certainly some post-production involved, with the technology available today, a lot of bands get VERY CLOSE to that post-production sound with their live sound. When I saw the Warning last year, they sounded almost identical to their produced mixes.
I think your comment regarding live videos maybe generally right, but in the context of Lovebites, there are plenty of raw live recordings that are equivalent of this video. Yes, it’s mixed, but I dare you to claim there’s any ‘tuning’ on Asami’s vocals for example. Just no. Now there are Lovebites tracks with backing tracks - deal with it. Miyako can’t play guitar and keyboards at the same time. But you can be sure she plays everything you hear, whether it be track or live. These ladies are insanely talented.
Iron Maiden vibes is correct. But Lovebites' technical ability and song writing is one level above Iron Maiden. I've been re-listening to Iron Maiden's discography recently on Spotify, and as good as they are, in my opinion Lovebites are better.
They, too, use backing tracks in their live performances. However, this is not to cover up their inexperience in playing technique, but to enhance the perfection of the song. Miyasako (guitar/keyboards) plays guitar with his left hand and keyboards with his right hand when he only needs one hand. Move the mouse PLEASE. Ouch, stopping in the middle of a guitar solo is severely frowned upon by many, you might get flack from some 😢😂 I'm a percussionist so it's all good here.
Guess the next from Lovebites should be The Svansong with Piano (Chopin) intro and outro. Think they all have Classical backround. And must listen to X-Japan, Kurenay Live 93. Thats Hair Metal and realy good to. But Nemophila`s cover is better.
Finally, someone who knows what he is talking about, I have been telling all of these fools who claim that they are better live when all they have are these recordings of their live shows. Perhaps it is quite evident they have never been to a live concert and have never experienced the huge difference. Thank you so much for bringing this to their attention, you guys freaking rock. I still prefer the Audio over the live myself but love it all. So far you guys have done a song from the most recent albums Judgment Day and Electric Pentagram, wait till you check out their older stuff. One thing you will eventually realize is that Lovebites always releases an EP with 4 songs to introduce what is coming in the full album, The Lovebites EP and Awakening from Abyss (2017), Battle against Damnation, and Clockwork Immortality (2018), Golden Destination, and Electric Pentagram (2020), Glory, glory to the world, and Judgement Day (2021, 2023) and in between are 5 Live CD/DVD's
Oh, here is the fool saying to half the fans that they are also fools for preferring the Live sound. You're never going to learn. The funny thing is that you are so dumb that you just told the creators of this video that they are fools too and you didn't realize it. You missed what they say at 15:26... They just agreed with those whom you call fools. That makes you a big fool. It would be good for you to abandon your war against the fans of which you are also a part, before you continue making more mistakes like this that expose you.
Lovebites has released a lot of material in a relatively short amount of time. They were not able to tour outside of Japan due to the pandemic, but hopeful they will in 2024. I'm expecting a DVD release later this year for the recent EX Theater Roppongi shows.
I can honestly tell you that it doesn’t matter we hear in these live performances, the one band that sounds great live is Band-Maid! They’re the real deal!
Dude in the grey shirt is a bummer. Bit@hing about post processing. Yeah we all know. We also know they are amazing live. And you shouldn’t stop during a guitar solo and talk over it. Jeez
Because you are watching a reaction video. If you want to watch the original video or listen to the music, it's there for you. People generally watch reactions for the reactions. I am sure you know the original video like the back of your hand anyway.
Yeah it's all fake, obviously they can't play, it's edited to the core, I bet men are playing behind the amps. Don't waste your time, go listen to Taylor Swift or something like that.
There has to be very good technicians and stage hands that mic the drums and ensure they get good feeds from instruments and that there's minimal amount of bleed (choice of mics and reducing stage volume with in-ears and having very good singer who knows how to handle a mic properly)
It's a large undertaking, takes way more time to build teh stage and set up, but Mikko knows his team and they're absolutely the best in business.
(IMHO) forever LOVEBITES, forever wolfpack,
Lovebites never ceases to amaze! Elite musicians and an astounding vocalist. I’m enjoying your dive into Japanese metal.
Every Lovebites song is awesome!
If you want heavier song try the song "Set the world on fire" or "Break the wall".
Thanks for the reaction. More Lovebites on the channel.
And "Scream for Me " for more amazing solos
@@billyboyles agreed. Every their song is different but great.
They are serious musicians, keep practising to make perfect on stage as much as they can. 👍👍🤘🤘🤘
Great reaction! I will recommend The swan song, with the Chopin intro. A masterpiece! Thanks from a new norwegian subscriber.
Important to make sure it is the "Chopin into" version.
Totally agree - the live Swan Song w/Chopin intro maybe my favorite Lovebites recording.
They entered my world and obliterated all others...alas laying claim to my Metal kingdom 🐺
Huge improvement to the audio issue I bitched about. Thank you!
Now, "The Awakening/Hammer of Wrath" from the same show would be a great follow-up.
Glad to hear it! We do listen to all suggestions!
Great reaction guys.. Do more Lovebites.. It's good for the soul....
🔥LOVEBITES🐺MASTERCLASS🔥Great reaction Bros👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I seen them live in Edinburgh and Newcastle UK when they were on tour with Dragonforce i think all the instruments have to go for therapy after each gig ha ha.
Drummer Haruna's Star Cymbals are from when she was in the band Destrose with ex-Bassist and creator of Lovebites Miho.
they are one of the best live bands out there, that stage presence and energy you cannot "polish up" afterwards.
Aren't they just super awesome guys. Could see you both getting into it. Their songs are so well structured and played with such precision and raw talent. Lovebites are a major talent right now and I see huge success for them in the future. Good vid guys, some really good points made and no bs at all.... had to sub.....
Welcome back and thank you for doing this reaction to lovebites again, LOVEBITES ROCK
next do SHADOWMAKER live version there are 2. great reaction enjoy the ride have a great day!!!!!!
Love Bites is the name of a Judas Priest song on Defenders of the Faith.
Keep reacting to their live versions, they are all great. A really good studio version, with a more raw sound imo is Stand and Deliver, their latest video release. And if you like to see them in their street closes and having a lot of fun in the studio, this is enjoyable too 🤘🏼🐺🎸
I saw them in a small club in Germany. They are a GREAT liveband!

I'm suggest you guys check out their live at Wacken Open Air 2018...
I agree, this recording shows more „pure“ live sound in good quality

back then, they played only 2 years together and m+m began playing guitar only a few years earlier.
Judgement day is new material so that explains the views! Lovebites rules
Yes, that is a star shaped cymbal. Haruna does use them and it spins when she does.
Another fun song from then is " Raise Some Hell" from this same show. The ladies have a lot more interaction & movement.
Judgment day is their new album with their new 20 year old bassist
try shadow maker from Wacken 2018 youll see a better idea live without processing and how damn good they still are they tore that show up and had the tent overflowed and going off

back then, they played only 2 years together and m+m began playing guitar only a few years earlier. They startet at around age 20 …
The mot impressve thing about them to me is the fact that they do all that in heels.
It's live totally live. I`m an exroadie i know the difference. The Japanese are experts. They are virtuoso.
I mean.. as you noted Holy War is a 3 yr old video, Judgement Day has been out.. 2 months?
The sad part is that IMO it should have at least 20m views.
OK, Try their "Thunder Vengeance (live 2020)" next time🔥
Just came across y'all's channel this week, and am enjoying your reactions and your music; so, you get a thumbs up and sub from this ye ole metal-head.
Now that they have gotten a new bassist I am hoping for a US tour.
If the world doesn't come to an end... maybe something will happen in 2024. We want it. They want it. It will happen eventually.
@@TheCyberMantis Band Maid is back again. I love both groups, hope LB can do some US shows.
I prefer that version as well.
That version is not as clear, it is almost muddy. This one is the better for its mix and clarity.
You guys need better ears. 😋
Yes, I also like 2021 version then this . For me, is sound more “live version”. 🤟🏼🇯🇵

If you're into drama, you should watch Bandmaid's live footage
There's very little strain in Asami's voice, if any. She is a highly trained professional vocalist. She can do what you're hearing live without the post audio mixing, as can all the girls on their respective instruments. The Japanese are not lazy. They put in their 10,000 hours of practice and much more.

Just a sample of the Lovebites greatness !
If you wanna hear Lovebites without postproduction filters.....go to Wacken videos....they sound Massive....
The Wacken video also has post production unless you are talking about the fan cam recordings. They made a DVD of the Wacken concert you know.
Loving your enthusiasm and I agree that the live version benefits from being less "produced" than the studio generally speaking. Also many of their live versions have better arrangements, intros and or outros than the studio equivalents IMO.
It sounded pretty damn close to this when I was there. Great reaction.
The band consciously progresses with each release. As a result there is another live version of Holy War barely 15 months later and the improvement is tangible. Yes they have top notch mixing and mastering but then if you’re a Rolls Royce you don’t leave the garage unpolished…..

I agree.
@@TheCyberMantis Yes, rock and metal are always radical and outlaw.

Why don't you check live from Wakken, they are amazing.
Welcome to the Wolfpack!
Luckily Asami gets a 1 to 4 minute break every song so sustaining this type of vocal over a 2 hour show is pretty easy. 🤭
Now U know❣
Wait till you start reacting their masterpieces.
They have several videos where it’s them raw as you put it. You stated the obvious
... 🎶👑🎵

I'm expecting a DVD release later this year for the recent EX Theater Roppongi shows.
too much stop
Broo.. react to Voice OF Baceprot (VOB)
I can honestly tell you that it doesn’t matter we hear in these live performances, the one band that sounds great live is Band-Maid! They’re the real deal!
Too much pause.
Pausing a guitar solo? Get back to your Xbox scooter.
Dude in the grey shirt is a bummer. Bit@hing about post processing. Yeah we all know. We also know they are amazing live. And you shouldn’t stop during a guitar solo and talk over it. Jeez
Why are you pausing the crap out of the performans ?
Because you are watching a reaction video. If you want to watch the original video or listen to the music, it's there for you.
People generally watch reactions for the reactions. I am sure you know the original video like the back of your hand anyway.
Reactor 101 Rules...NEVER PAUSE in the middle of a guitar solo smdh.
Yeah it's all fake, obviously they can't play, it's edited to the core, I bet men are playing behind the amps. Don't waste your time, go listen to Taylor Swift or something like that.
I look forward to the day when you guys get to meet the Band ‐Ⅿade live "PLAY"
