Write like you talk is GOLD.......its so much more authentic, especially for the people who know you personally. When they read your writing, they can hear you reading it to them.

Then my father came up with an idea that would help all of baseball. I tried the thing and was able to hit major league level. I had a choice to make… I could either hop back in and restart my game or I could build the thing that helps other kids hit past the lonely island in the middle of the diamond. So I chose the ladder( building the thing)
