That power combination, i can tell you first hand is 1.6 capable on prep. If you're going to be running dry tire then you'll definitely want practice slipper clutch tuning. The power combo itself has wayyy to much power to just rip the throttle, get yourself a castlelink cord and start tuning the esc i.e. cheat (timing), throttle curve, and start power or start building a throttle curve in your radio.
The wear on the outer and inner part of the rear tires is from the car not hooking up and you staying in the throttle while the car starts to slide sideways and kick back the other way and spin out. You were in the throttle the entire time for one of those lol. The tires balloon so going straight you would get wear in the middle of the tires, however the car kicking back and forth while your on the throttle still causes the tire to roll over and ultimately you get that wearing on the outer and inner parts. Its best if you want to keep the tires in good shape to let off if you notice the car spinning so much, before it starts to walk back and forth and spin out. Same thing for the 1:1 cars. They spin out of the hole, they let off and that pass is considered ruined. Unless your a front wheel drive 4banger 😂. Love the vids man keep em coming! Just keep messing with this drag stuff and you’ll figure it out. I have a 22s and it’ll do low low 2’s box stock.
Also just wanted to throw this out there, if read in some forums that wool carpet is the only thing you want to use while heating tires. Anything else can seriously damage tires. That also might have something to do with the cracking on the outer edge and inner edge. All that I have read from seems to say strictly wool carpet. Maybe an old floor mat for a vehicle or wool front door mat.
Cool video love this platform want one really bad, and I just got some losi drag cars and it’s hard to get them to hook consistently but a little esc tuning goes a long way
Yes, the wear on tires is from u ripping around. Look in too tire, prepping for your choice of dry tire or prep to get it to hook up.check redmonster prep great stuff, great guy, too
Yes. Drag racing wasn’t for me. I tried to sell it around but no one was interested. I will probably eventually get it up and running again. Nothing against the car. I just didn’t enjoy drag racing.
Really enjoy your style videos and I'm glad I found your channel last year. Thanks Jason
Thank you.

If he wants it to be consistent he should ditch the slipper and tune it with that $700 remote lol
Thanks for the video, I'm putting together my DR10m right now. I plan on buying this car before June 2024.

Just used your code at eliminator rc for some lockup tires for my outcast 8s, thanks man!

Nice video I think with that setup you should be able to achieve 2.25-2.5. For reference the stock losi 22s does 3s passes
That motor and esc combo are capable of sub 2 second passes easy. The stock losi is capable of running 2.3-2.4 second passes.
I run my 6400kv on 3s and 4s crazy fast
Great! I think 2,9 for a bone stock firstrun is really cool :)
dis thing has castle 1412 and big esc nowhere near bone stock
Add weight to the front lossen slipper a bit dosome speed runs

Are you done with this car? No more videos?

upvoted!
