Super helpful! I am new to this and its way harder than I thought. Now I have to go and pull the tint off the two windows I did today because they're not good enough. And they took me four hours!
thanks for posting this and showing how to fix little issues most videos guys post its like they have a perfect install and i know they can't all be perfect nice to see some honest video and how to deal with it.
Fantastic. Watching a true expert do his thing is great. I was looking for tips in preparation for tinting my van windows, but now I may just have to drive to Texas to get the job done right! :-)
Some good knowledge the for taking the time to share ive done quite a bit of windows some better than others just did my car last night and it's got huge air pockets even though my cuts are ok
This video shows the best way to cut and apply the tint. One thing I do not understand - some people use heat gun to shrink even if the film is in good shape. Can you explain why?
Before applying it to the glass or after its on? Before is because the glass is curved and typically gets fingers along the bottom as thats usually the last part to be squeegeed, thats where the excess film is. So the preshrink at the bottom of the film takes that excess film away by shrinking it in.
I see many people heat the film with a heat gun while the film is on the outside of the glass. You heat the glass with a torch while the film is in final position. What's the difference, and is one way better than the other? Thank you.
I am beginning to love your vids, but I have a question not tint related and it has something to do with what we were talking about the other day at work. . . What do you know about Megan Racing coilovers, and how do you feel about them?
Great video! Im wanting to tint my own car, on a budget, in my garage. I don't own a torch or have any the equipment you used really so do you have any advice for someone like me? I feel i could do a decent job but i do have a few questions if you happen to read this. 1. Do you recommend any particular film for a newbie (link if possible) 2. I don't have a torch but would a blow-dryer work? 3. Are you just using a water/soap mixture to spray on the window? 4. Where can i get those rubber/plastic scrapers? Thanks in advance, and in the mean time iv'e subscribed to your channel and i will check out your other videos, you may have already covered all this previously
Awesome video...Very informative! Im going to try to do the passenger and driver side door on my 2003 Silverado 2500HD....Any advice on where to get my window film? Most places I have found only want to sell me 100' rolls.
@ 3:42 when you move your hand it looks like an eyeball is staring at us. I think it’s just a bubble but maybe someone’s eyeball did get stuck in the tint idk. Lol thanks for the tint info tho ✊
I was trained for a week, but did not do any tinting for 2 months after training. I started tinting today but still having issues shrinking and installling.

Great info fom your programme can I try a hair dryer to help , I have some roll which I was going to use but I have to check whether it will fit ?
Great video. Thanks to teach us how to do it
Excellent training... 👍👍👍
Shoudnt snap your knives on the cars glass 😬
We're do you buy the Potter and the software for the tint cutting
How come you didn’t hear shrink the film there? When do you determine that the film doesn’t need to be shrunk?
If the tint lays flat on the window pretty well then you can see that it might not need to be shrunk.
This video shows the best way to cut and apply the tint. One thing I do not understand - some people use heat gun to shrink even if the film is in good shape. Can you explain why?
yo activate the glue on the film and be 100% sure the film will not move even if the customer hits the window a tiny bit.
Before applying it to the glass or after its on? Before is because the glass is curved and typically gets fingers along the bottom as thats usually the last part to be squeegeed, thats where the excess film is. So the preshrink at the bottom of the film takes that excess film away by shrinking it in.
hello friend first of all good videos i tips some questions that you use paper or what you recommend me to use because I just start in this
Thank you so much you are the master thank you for your time
Way to many ads but great video
Great video. Thanks, Dave! Can you link where to buy those squeegees?
Is that solid water?
Where do you buy yellow turbos ??? Did they change how they make them mine suck too hard no bend ???
We do it very similar as you do, I've been lickin em and stickin em since 1987.
I see many people heat the film with a heat gun while the film is on the outside of the glass. You heat the glass with a torch while the film is in final position. What's the difference, and is one way better than the other? Thank you.
Heating the glass is too help the drying process be faster. Heating the tint is too shrink it to make the contour of the tint match the window.
you have excess not access ....lol
Jason Morehouse
Shit I may have both
I do see that nice si in the back though
Thanks for the watch !
I have jr pump sprayer..how much soap do you mix to the full pot?

I am beginning to love your vids, but I have a question not tint related and it has something to do with what we were talking about the other day at work. . . What do you know about Megan Racing coilovers, and how do you feel about them?
Robert Farr
Man I honestly don’t know a lot about them. From what I understand there better of the cheap /not so cheep coilovers
Do you want a good ride and cheap I would go with tiko and yellow struts
But Megan racing is a good brand go skunk2 it rides good but you can buy one piece for pretty cheap
Andy Ruiz : before he was famous
Beast💪
Did he snap the blade on the glass wtf
The word is Excess dude...
Good tutorial bro any place you would recommend to get tint im out in az but im still learning but want some quality tint but not to pricy
Hey Dave your sprayer nozzle looks very cool, can you tell us what is it ?
thats banger of a job. you know who to looking for when tinting.
Its excess....not access! Lol
Why would you snap your blade on a clients vehicle? Show some respect.
Excellent video explaining what to do and how to remove a problem
Access to what? Are you trying to say excess? Like excess tint ?
You forgot to move the film back so you can have equals
You use the torch instead of a heat gun

Most of the precut stuff isn't that great. Maybe check out Express film and buy some low cost film to start with
But if im using heat gun to shrink, then how hot should i turn my heat gun? Is there any perfect level of heating ?
Have it on high heat.
Not bad

Not trying to be critical and I see you’re skilled but that open flame on the car scares the shit outta me. You got way bigger stones than I do
