I feel that Napom doesn't want to win over the years. He entered the contest as a walk, with a freestyle, random. Perhaps Napom has felt enough titles and wants to enter the matches with passion. But there is a downside that it makes Napom's performances not perfect, without a smooth structure. Obviously, everyone knows that if fighting seriously and determined, Napom can beat any beatboxer. Anyway, he is a legend, one of the best! Respect!

i forever love Napom. he is a legend and one of my first ever introductions to beatboxing and i remember my mind being blown by the things he could do but the 2 standouts for me in this competition were Pac and Vino. Vino dropped some incredibly sick beats and they were all flawless with no mistakes and i always knew Pacmax was on another level the first time i saw him. i was instantly a fan and replayed his battles over and over well deserved win from pacmax!!! if anyone has not seen his korea beatbox battle 2nd place run then definitely go check it out. he shows insane power in those. since then he has definitely refined his style to be a mix of flow, groove with power thrown in here and there. amazing evolution by him. excited to see more of pac in future comps

I also wonder if nape didnt want to waste any potential covers or routines on this before GBB. I know he did that last GBB when he had a battle with KI about a month out. He is a freestyle god, but this crowd seemed to enjoy the rhythmic consistency of PACMAX's routines. Well earned.
Problem for Napom in this type of competition is that when the liprols become a little repetitive, after 3 4 battles when he destroys everyone with it. And in the final it loses the hype, so the technique cant follow. But crazy high level battle, Pacmax deserved it, no question
It’s hard to bring hype and surprises in every round as you advance in a tournament style competition like this. That’s why a lot of people are suggesting for Napom to have structured routines. Otherwise, it runs the risk of sounding, as you said, repetitive and doesn’t fittingly capitalize on a grand finale. But Napom’s Napom, so he’ll do what he wants and he’ll always be a legend in the beatbox community

The guy is a freaking beast and, if he's already one of the best (if not the best), imagine with some preparation before the battles! I think the biggest thing about Napom's current routines since around 21-22 is that he has been focusing on complexity and technicality it feels like. As in some of the timing play and bass control he has is on another level, but you can clearly see he doesn't fully structure his routines anymore since even when he wings it he gets a standing ovation. I think using some prepared work would just plow most groups, but pacmax had some claps here Edit: Also, his breathing technique is otherwordly, but just like his rolls, he needs to make it part of his arsenal, not the singular showcase format
