Finally a quick, simple and well explained video on the kugoo settings! I have the ienyrid m4 pro which is basically the same scooter under a different name. Has the same controller and everything so everything in this video applies to me too. Thanks for this video buddy it’s helped me a lot and it’s easy to follow 👍🏻👍🏻
@@MovelectricsJust a question, I bought a Kugoo Kirin M4 and recently I bought a Kugoo Kirin G2 max, do the settings work the same for those 2 scooters or it is something diffrent? Thanks
I actually modified P6 and set it to 8.4 instead of 10 so i could get a more accurate speed reading on my scooter. The only actual way of getting more speed is to get tires with a larger diameter which requires quite a few modifications to allow for those larger tires to fit.
Most scooters I’ve had never have accurate speed readings from the display. Sometimes they are off by only a few kms. I always leave it it the default p settings for wheel diameter/magnets etc. I always test with a GPS app.
@@Until_It_Is_Done the meter is off accuracy by 1" on mine. It's different for everyone's scooter though. Also the original tire was slightly smaller than 10 inches, which I had replaced recently along with the motor.
After comparing to my GPS and my mountain bike speedometer, the best setting for P06 is 9.1 for the most accurate speed. However, I did find a quirk in this. While the speed is accurate, the distance on the odometers is not. The distance from my home to my workplace is 1.4 miles as per MapQuest, but the scooter trip odometer measures 1.6 miles. When P06 was set to 7.8, the odometer was accurate, but not the speedometer. Therein is the trade-off. One will be accurate, but not the other. It's weird to say the least.
@@Until_It_Is_Done Not sure why 8.4 was chosen, but they're not wrong. Comparing to my GPS, setting P06 to 10.0 makes the speedometer read about 2 MPH more than actual speed. It took a lot of trial and error, but I found 9.1 is as close to accurate as you can get.
No. On some scooters you can like Varla Eagle One (more torque) But on the M4 Pro it’s only a 500w motor and 48v battery. Scooter simply can’t do it. The controller would more than likely blow. Not possible as explained in the video. You are giving the incorrect information to the controller. GPS speed test the scooter and you will see the true speed is maxed out at 45km/h
Thank you for the video. You recommand to leave the wheels size setting untouched, but what if that number is set higher than the actual wheels size ? I have the Kugoo Kirin G2 pro. Wheel size is set at 9 inches, but the actual wheels size is 8.5 inches.
Like I mention in the video, there is no speed hack for this scooter. Changing magnets is giving the incorrect information so the display is not accurate. If you GPS test the scooter with an app, you will see up to a maximum of 45km/h. Ride safe 🛴
I bought one of these and it’s defective. As soon as I start moving the speedometer says 15mph when I’m actually going 2mph. It doesn’t go 27 mph. Maybe 15mph tops down hill. It’s made with cheap plastic. This thing completely sucks. Don’t waste your money.
Not possible as I explain in this video. You must have changed the p-settings from the default. Doing this will give incorrect speed readings. GPS speed test the scooter and you will see the maximum speed possible is around 40-45km/h
@bollejoker111 I don’t need proof. But it ain’t possible unless you modify the controller and have a bigger battery. Changing magnet settings is giving the incorrect information so the display is not accurate. Again when you GPS speed test the scooter with a phone app for example, you will see it ain’t possible. P7 does make it faster I set it to 2 I'm flying lol only thing is the speedometer won't read but if I'm on normal settings the speedometer works fine
Not possible as explained in the video. You are giving the incorrect information to the controller. GPS speed test the scooter and you will see the true speed is maxed out at 45km/h
I did GPS test it I'm getting 50kmph but I have a different model scooter
@@marcus5556 this video is about the M4 Pro. What model you have? P-settings can vary greatly from different models.
😂a different model scooter ya say after the fella put ya are in your place. Ya clearly have no clue what you are shiting on about.@@marcus5556
👍thanks👍
Thank you too
Thank you for the video. You recommand to leave the wheels size setting untouched, but what if that number is set higher than the actual wheels size ? I have the Kugoo Kirin G2 pro. Wheel size is set at 9 inches, but the actual wheels size is 8.5 inches.
I can’t speak for the G2 but maybe the settings don’t have the option of 8.5?
It actually does have the 8.5 inch parameter which is causing my confusion. Anyway, thank you for the time and answer. Good luck with your channel !
@@LEFF90 check other videos to see what the default setting is. I wouldn’t be worried to be honest.
Set it to 9.1. A lot of trial and error with my GPS determined that this setting is the most accurate you can get.
I have to slow down my speeds just incase because if i get this it will be my first e scooter so ill just slow it down
Just use gear 1
I put the number of the magnets 25 and now the speed it's 70 km an hour.
Like I mention in the video, there is no speed hack for this scooter. Changing magnets is giving the incorrect information so the display is not accurate.
If you GPS test the scooter with an app, you will see up to a maximum of 45km/h.
Ride safe 🛴
Lol
I measured with the app komoot on my phone and the real speed is 51 km an hour and I weight 99 kg .
Not possible unless the scooter is off the ground or you changed the p settings and gave the scooter incorrect information.
When i try to enter settings there is a code. When can I find what is it?
@@ItayShoshani-n2f a code? What scooter you have?
I have a Gowheels m4 pro, it looks like a sticker brand because the specs are exactly the same as kugoo/kukirin
Dis you check all P-settings? Compare them to this video ⚡️
I got mines to 53km an hour and I didn't change anything!!! I'm only 120pounds.
Double check your p settings are all default. Sometimes they can be incorrect from factory. Also a way to verify speed is GPS testing it.
Nope I had a speedometer app plus the car next to me and I hit the same speed
@@rosamerlujan5510 definitely must be special edition
@@Movelectrics is not I'm not lying
Only joking
i go 56 on a less then full battery
Not possible as I explain in this video.
You must have changed the p-settings from the default. Doing this will give incorrect speed readings.
GPS speed test the scooter and you will see the maximum speed possible is around 40-45km/h
@@Movelectrics ok need proof ? i make a video
Best to keep everything default.
@@Movelectrics oh sorry i was wrong full battery 68
and i changed nothing i only modify ninebots
what is p12v
P12 is unknown. Therefore I would leave it alone. Kugoo have changed these settings numerous times since the Pro model was released.
Also P16 is cruise control. I don’t suggest touching this because it’s dangerous.
Someone told me that p12 is the acceleration
As far as I know, the TF 100 display doesn’t have this function. I have mine on zero start and quite happy.
@@Movelectrics Nice! mine is set to 5 by default and changed it to 1 nothing happend I guess, but in the same day when I was going up a hill I was giving it a little gass and at the end of the hill it stopped, doesn't work anymore the store that I bought it from said they will repair it (I don't think this has to do anything with the p12)
If you were pushing it hard up a hill, could have blown the controller possibly.
I'm 135lb and get 42mph
Great! Ride safe ⚡️
Lovely accent.))
Thank you! Glad you understood me haha
that's not a hack
@@vegePOG exactly. That’s why I explain each setting and why some people input wrong information on the p-settings giving inaccurate speed readings.
@@Movelectrics you're amazing brother. Keep up the good work!
@@vegePOG thank you the support ⚡️
My scooter is a simple 2400w motor and it goes 75klm without any hacks
What scooter do you have? I had once a scooter that went 73km/h but definitely them speeds ain’t safe.
