It's so ironic, I just went to buy light blue/turquoise yarn for a cardigan just like this and looked on youtube first to get some inspiration and found your video for the exact design i wanted. This is definitely going to help me with my design!😊

Thank you so much for the tips to cast the correct number of loops! I like how straight the edge is when i use a long tail cast-on, but figuring out the yarn length has always been so demoralising. I can't wait to try it like that!

It's not hard ❤, find a knitting tutorial that teaches easily, understandingly, I learn at the library, 15 minutes before closing time, and the librarian taught me. I've been knitting ever since. Now doing intricate stitches ❤ I love cables ❤ DC herringbone stitch, fan and feather. Short row garter when making a sweater, two at once socks 🧦 or individual. Dpn ❤ keep putting one's efforts and you too will get it ❤️😁

I feel for you🤝I also find crochetting much easier than knitting🙃But I love how this knit stitch looks, so recently I tried several previous videos with knit sweaters on this channel where Kate shows how to start from the very beginning, and also just some RUclips videos for beginners. Honestly, it was hard for me at first, although I had some small knitting experience in my childhood (don't remember anything). I really tried and tried and knitted and frogged, perhaps, 100 samples before I could manage them more or less. And then I just began trying to knit sweaters with simple technology of 4 rectangles sewed together. I'm still bad at it and am still learning, but at least now I can do these knit and pearl stitches. I actually want nothing more from knitting, only these patterns, so I'll just keep going in them. I hope my experience can encourage you also to try, if you set your mind on having some knit clothes😊

@@i1likewater honey, you should try it’s not that hard🫶🏻 can you imagine that I learned how to knit before I learned to crochet and crochet seemed very difficult to me 😄 If it is difficult for you to understand I have a playlist with knitting tutorials on my channel I show everything in more detail there ❤️

oh ! on the topic of yarn winders, i use the Stanwood large metal ball winder (10 oz). it's very pricey but completely worth it imo ! its huge so you usually wont need to make multiple cakes for one hank/skein and it's metal so it's super durable!! 100% worth the money
