@@Terra_Enigma das mit dem Film wäre unglaublich, und das Zeitproblem könnte man dadurch lösen, in dem man Ark unsterblich macht und seine Freunde sterben lässt (leider). Man könnte mehr Freunde hinzufügen, oder Freunde als Geister agieren lassen. Ach ich liebe es mir den Kopf darüber zu zerbrechen... :D
@@Terra_Enigma Eine Realverfilmung halte ich persönlich für keine gute Idee, da du bei der Länge der Geschichte in eine Herr der Ringe Trilogie übergehen müsstest. Eine Netflix Serie z.B. mit ca. 20 Folgen je 45 Minuten würde schon eher hinkommen.

Man, that bloody mary boss fight...even although you could see her story in that level, I wished that she was a more foreshadowed character, with personality and background, and not just a strong boss.

Takes me back to the weird dragon boss battle where it turned out the dragon wasn't the boss at all, but those asshole starfish messing with you both. Very cool game, amazing reimagining of the music, as always! If they ever remaster the game, they must use your music.

When I first played, I was very young and didn't understand the stats for better weaponry. As such all the boss fights were pretty hard. Now, I'd say the hardest is probably Bloody Mary, still. So many Zap rings!
Typed "Orchestral synthwave" in the youtube search, and found one of you songs. So I looked deeper in your content, and I gotta say I really like what you do ! More specifically, I find your mixes to be really clear and "comprehensible", compared to some other orchestral composers I listen to. Actually, it already made me understand several things that I never paid attention to in Orchestral. Anyway, good job; I think you deserve far more recognition ^^ Cheers! I wanted to post a comment about how this cover would be perfect for a remake (for instance FF7 Remake has a very similar high quality reimagining of the original OST from what I heard so far), but then I read the comments. Seems like I’m not the only one who thinks so! Great work! Definitely captures the feel of the original and takes it to a new level!

Hi, thanks very much for your feedback! Sure, I use quite a number of different libraries. For strings for example, I use Musical Sampling libraries (Soaring Strings & Adventure Strings) as my main libs, layered with a bit of 8DIO's Adagietto in this track. Brass is from Musical Sampling, too (Adventure Brass), layered with Caspian Brass from Performance Sampling. For long sustained brass notes, I layer in a brass patch from "Orchestral Essentials" (ProjectSAM) as well. Percussion is a mix of Soundiron Apocalypse Percussion, 8DIO Epic Toms and Decimator (Audio Imperia). Choir is "Oceania" by Performance Samples, for some choral effects I used Requiem Light by Soundiron. Then there are a number of other libraries (including Spitfire Audio products) for effects and supporting sounds. It's a mixture of many different libs that are used for certain parts and FX. But the libs I mentioned above are some of the most important ones in this track.

Dass du es hier so verstärkt wahrnimmst liegt bestimmt daran, dass ich meine Covertracks gerne mit eher filmischen Elementen erweitere (natürlich Geschmacksache ;)). Und da ich bei eigentlich jedem Track eine bestimmte Szene im Kopf habe, wenn ich anfange daran zu arbeiten, steige ich gerne mit entsprechenden Intros ein. Gerade in diesen Track ist sehr viel Arbeit in das Sounddesign und die Komposition des Intros geflossen, daher trifft mich das Urteil "Verschwendung" natürlich etwas ;). Aber umso mehr schätze ich deine Ehrlichkeit bzgl. der Intros. Ich hoffe jedenfalls, sie schmälern deinen Gesamteindruck nicht allzu sehr!
Ich finde gerade die langsame Steigerung wahnsinnig spannend und gut gemacht. Als ich auf das Video geklickt habe, hab ich auch erwartet, dass es wie im Original sofort los geht. Allerdings wird man hier ganz langsam vorbereitet auf das epische Finale. Zwischendurch teasert die Melodie schonmal ganz zart an. Das ist es, was dieses Cover wirklich großartig macht in meinen Augen. Ein subtiles Spiel mit dem Hauptthema, das sich langsam hochsteigert.
