Love your channel! I recently started meal planning, so really new to this. I found using colored pencils works great for me, that way if I change anything, I can erase and keep things looking neat and organized.❤️
It could be worth lamenting/using lamenting sheets over the freezer inventory. It would help with keeping track of your staples on one page and maybe another for the prepped meals.
Thanks for explaining the meal planner. Regarding your recipes you have in a box I started collecting so many that I put them in a ring binder using sheet protectors and tab sheets so I could have them separated by types i.e.breakfast, pasta, chicken etc. and you can arrange it any way you want. Just a suggestion.
I really like the way that planner is laid out. I have been inventorying our freezers and cabinets for a while now but I just started meal planning. I use a notebook that's sectioned. I'm not sure if I want to get a specific planner just for that, but if I did, it'd be one like that.
Hey Vanessa, love the lemon print, so you for sure!! I saw Jen Chapin has one of those, and although they look amazing and super organized, that's way too involved for me. I haven't got it all together that well, lol!!😁😁. I'm definitely gonna go check it out anyway though because now is as good as time as any to start getting things organzied on a deeper level. Thanks for the review. There is definitely a good possibility that I would purchase this because it has so much to offer. Thanks again. Have a great weekend!!
I love the Happy Planner books. This looks kinda similar, but not as versatile. You should check them out for when this gets filled in. Cheaper too, when you buy on sale.
I love the perforated grocery list :) I just print a free monthly calendar for my meal planning (I only plan supper--lunch and breakfast the fam's on their own).
Great Review! I was hoping you’d go be to the Carrie Elle planner. I really love the layout of it. When I start meal planning I’ll definitely be using her planner. Tyfs 😊❤️👍🏼
Great review and discussion about how you use it!! I think I would break my pantry down in the area you aren’t currently using, with my bottled canned and jars of overstock just to help, or the odd ball stuff I keep but don’t have year round, could be very helpful with planning!! 👏👏👏
I just got mine in the mail and I love it! Jen Chapin has it too, you amazing ladies think alike. 😉 I appreciate your advise and can't wait to see all you upcoming videos, especially the veggie washing one! Thanks!!
Yay! Loved this meal planner review! I've been thinking of getting myself one for a while now. I think for myself the gatherings section might be useful for camping trips as we have a trailer and go several times a year.. Might help me keep track of what I have and need in there as well! great ideas. Thanks Vanessa! Have a great weekend! 💖🍋
What a great planner. I am glad you found something that works well for you. I will be looking forward to your next video until then please take care and God bless 💕!
There's a smaller one? I'll check it out. Thought about making a travelers notebook & using it as meal planner with the inserts... New to you. I enjoy your meals.
Video idea: cooking magazine review. So Rachel ray vs cooking light vs America test kitchen vs other magazine stand magazines. So what do you like or dislike in the layout vs ads vs style of recipes included. So for example, I had a subscription to Rachel ray...until I noticed a *lot* of recipes I was paying for were on her website or food network site for free. Plus some of her ingredients are not the cheapest...fancier cold cuts etc. Meanwhile I love cooks country & cooks illustrated (haven't checked to see how similar they are to Americas test kitchen - same company).
I totally agree. I usually just write my items down on plain white paper. For me the purpose of planning out meals and grocery shopping is to save money/time and to make sure I use everything I have.
We have one in Pflugerville and 2 in Killeen. Another one is being built in Georgetown where I live. I use the one in Pflugerville every couple of weeks as it is at the same exit off of 130 as the new Costco. These are just the 3 that I know of.
A 3 ring binder would be good in your book to replace and take out pages.

You are giving me so many ideas for my kitchen and planning my meals! Thanks so much!
Can you make a video about your new meal planner 2020?
I am still using the meal planner from Carrie Elle it’s just the smaller version 😊

Yes! This is my absolute favorite meal planner.
LemonadeMom awesome I am looking for a good meal planner and my everyday planner is Just not cutting it.
I would never spend that much for a meal planner. Mine cost one dollar.
I totally agree. I usually just write my items down on plain white paper. For me the purpose of planning out meals and grocery shopping is to save money/time and to make sure I use everything I have.
Yes, I don't need it to be cute, just functional, especially if I am trying to save money.
We have an ALDI in Texas??? 😯 I ❤️ my HEB!!
