He loves her, and she knows it too, but he never makes a move due to guilt. After a drunken night out, they have a talk about their current situation, and the main "plot" happens. So it is a very wholesome work that I would like to see a sequel with or without the "plot."
Honestly despite what most people think ShindoL is pure degenerate work, I believe that he was able to portray the brutal reality of a lot of abuse victims. Sometimes words are not enough and real images are too personal. He honestly blends the goriness and brutality of SA and other horrific acts while still not resorting to showing straight up images. Honestly he is one of the most interesting guests on the podcast yet.
A friend of mine read Emergence and actually loved the way it was told specifically because she went through something similar. From her pov it is important to have media that show how brutal it really is and that if you feel shocked and disgusted that's very good, that's what you're supposed to feel if you imagine that stuff happening to someone.

I believe Connor when he says he always saw battle scenes and sex scenes as similar. He often read sex scenes in his Yaoi videos as though commentating on a battle, and playing battle music, so completely believable.

As someone who's read a lot of both from various areas of the world, in both instances they're extending a moment that lasts around 30 seconds to 20 minutes to an indefinite number of pages. There's a rise of tension and a climax wherein the bond between participating characters and plot is affected in the long run. It's all just the spectacle of intimacy

As another New Yorker who grew up during/in the tail end of the crack epidemic, Metamorphosis was and is the most relatable doujin I've ever read, and I love it for that. I wish more artists in general were willing to portray experiences that aren't everyone's normal, but have been some other people's normal.

There are a lot of things that are said in this video could apply to any artist, much of things Shindo talks about are exploration and trying new things, getting out of your comfort zone is a hard thing and you are always weary of what other people think, but he does it. Probably my favorite episode in a long time. Just hearing experts talking about things is cool. Also, I'm happy that Shindo brought up the Quadruple amputee one that he did just for Connor's reaction alone. But it really is wholesome, of which not many doujins of that tag would be classified as (if at all), considering how extreme it is. Which hearing how Shindo talked about his process, it makes sense that he'd do such a thing. One of the things that I personally always liked was trauma and scar type stuff (physical or mental) in particular just for that unique satisfaction of seeing the characters overcome them and have a good life despite that. And that's not even specific to the topic of the podcast, but in general really.

I think it's just how the trash taste video performed some times. like the video about japanese hostess, although the guest is very interesting it's for very long time like quite a few months not crossed to one million views, and then for the next few month it's crossed 1,2 million views plus and seeing kevin is not a popular youtuber or popular internet personality compared to others, kevin video is performed quite well.

The Light Novel Asanagi works on as an Illustrator is written by the author of Mushoku Tensei btw :) Also one of the reasons why Rifujin won't work on new MT stuff or rewrite the WN stories starting with Redundancy: He stated that he wants to finish [edit: ofc he wants to finish the MT LN release as well first, and it's one, a maximum of 2 volumes] Orc Eroica first before going back to the Stories from the six-faced World (MT universe). And boi, look up Orc Eroica, Thunder Sonia is everything you want to have in a Rifujin story drawn by Asanagi.
ShindoL gets it. No dirt on the current stuff but the mid 90's to like mid-00's H doujins hit different. They had a story and the art had a great balance.
I agree with the long stories but I actually prefer the art now. Even if there was a few gods in the past, the average is a lot better right now. I remember a lot of very sharp faces, pointy noses... Characters were more "2d", hair was stiff..

Honestly despite what most people think ShindoL is pure degenerate work, I believe that he was able to portray the brutal reality of a lot of abuse victims. Sometimes words are not enough and real images are too personal. He honestly blends the goriness and brutality of SA and other horrific acts while still not resorting to showing straight up images. Honestly he is one of the most interesting guests on the podcast yet.
A friend of mine read Emergence and actually loved the way it was told specifically because she went through something similar. From her pov it is important to have media that show how brutal it really is and that if you feel shocked and disgusted that's very good, that's what you're supposed to feel if you imagine that stuff happening to someone.

I believe Connor when he says he always saw battle scenes and sex scenes as similar. He often read sex scenes in his Yaoi videos as though commentating on a battle, and playing battle music, so completely believable.
They are in how they're framed. As someone who's read a lot of both from various areas of the world, in both instances they're extending a moment that lasts around 30 seconds to 20 minutes to an indefinite number of pages. There's a rise of tension and a climax wherein the bond between participating characters and plot is affected in the long run.

Probably my favorite episode in a long time. Just hearing experts talking about things is cool. Also, I'm happy that Shindo brought up the Quadruple amputee one that he did just for Connor's reaction alone. But it really is wholesome, of which not many doujins of that tag would be classified as (if at all), considering how extreme it is. Which hearing how Shindo talked about his process, it makes sense that he'd do such a thing.
One of the things that I personally always liked was trauma and scar type stuff (physical or mental) in particular just for that unique satisfaction of seeing the characters overcome them and have a good life despite that. And that's not even specific to the topic of the podcast, but in general really.
Shindo talking about his favorite tags. Sydney would have been comedy gold for this episode. Connor, Joey, Garnt would be WTF and Sydney would be smiling and asking for more.

ShindoL gets it. No dirt on the current stuff but the mid 90's to like mid-00's H doujins hit different. They had a story and the art had a great balance.
I agree with the long stories but I actually prefer the art now. Even if there was a few gods in the past, the average is a lot better right now. I remember a lot of very sharp faces, pointy noses... Characters were more "2d", hair was stiff..

Kinda wished they asked him about what caused his shift from being a vanilla only artist to being a NTR artist, and what caused other artists to follow suit. Because many artists started off as vanilla only, but then also jumped ship into becoming a NTR artist. Asanagi, Fuetakishi, Yuzuki N Dash, Meme50, Rocket Monkey, Itou Eight, they all had humble beginnings, but then began doing some twisted stuff. Out of all the ShindoL things I've read the cow one stuck with me the most. It's a statement on the meat industry and it's all real and it's like you definitely got to think about what you eat and the ethics of how animals are treated.

It’s more like that the Yakuza are heavily involved in the horse racing scene in Japan, so yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if a kumi owned a stake in particular horses that became characters in Uma Musume. Though it definitely got memed quite a bit more exaggeratedly in the western fandom
