Ya if a retired player wanted they could easily create a Spittin Chiclets style series. Baseball guys don't frequently speak or interview in a comfortable setting loke this. We don't see their real personality.

Im a die hard yankee fan since 1975 but growing up in so cal i grew up watching dodger baseball and listening to the iconic vin scully. After watching mookies podcast with judge which was awesome and watching this one im now a mookie betts fan. Hated u in boston but ur an awesome dude mookie! Just wish u were a yankee
Honestly the fact that Southern California is a baseball hotbed and has been for years benefits a team like the dodgers a lot. It isn’t always the case but often players see a lot of benefits of going back home to where they grew up/have a lot of family still. With so many stars being from SoCal so often you hear players admitting to wanting to go to LA. Corey Seager who never talks and is a pretty quiet guy said that Nolan arenado “ wanted to be a dodger so bad “ in front of him to reporters, Giancarlo Stanton before being traded to NY openly admitted to wanting a trade to the dodgers and being a dodger fan growing up on the jimmy Kimmel show.. Ryan Braun said In an interview some hears back that he would only waive his no trade for the dodgers.. there are many many more of those too. Sk many SoCal stars .. Freddie signing with LA to be with family.. max fried future dodger as well.. Trevor Bauer although that didn’t end well. SoCal guy who partly picked LA because it was home
Come on he was a shortstop, does he or did he ever want to hit, like ohtani? He's also 2-6 this year, 5.0+ ERA what gives, pitch clock, shift helping or hurting?
