This!!! Can you do a tutorial on multiband compression specifically? Miles has been on my butt about it but I lowkey don’t understand what all the settings mean! Definitely picked up some gems from this vid tho 🙌
I would mix that just like mixing an individual piano. You basically do have the stems. It’s just one stem though lol. But the side-chaining parts would probably be a good fit. Pianos eat up a lot of frequencies.
so i usually sidechain the vocal to pro q 3 and do more of the ducking there but i wanna try the MB side chain with the vocal. dope tip bro, thank you.

I think it's more everyone has their own process & does what works with them. So you would have to ask them directly.
