You can also set your launch options to allow more cpu cores, threads and limit your system memory and gpu memory limits while running the app. I have an 8-core cpu with 16-threads, when enabling the extra cores and threads, my fps went from 25 to 60. Managed to get my Arma 3 to play around 40-50 fps finally. For some reason I expected it to be much higher as I am running a Ryzen 5 5600 with a Nvidia RTX 3070ti
Your thread is complete nonsense. Why do you leave the object view distance at 3800? Set it to 1500 (slower cpu to 1000- 1250), that alone will quadruple your fps. Foresight on 2500-3000, bip off, terrain and objects on standard... I play at 70 fps. And setting it via the launcher only helps very badly, maybe +3 fps.

my settings got boosted for about 20fps using the video settings, profiling, config, cpu priority and standby list cleaner. The launcher config however did drastically decrease my fps by half, even when put in the information correctly according to my specs. For people having troubles, not all steps work accordingly to your pc specs. Keep that in mind! specs: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz 16gb ram RTX 2060 2.5" SSD 64bit machine
As soon as I clicked on Auto Detect, my frame rate went up to 180fps (my monitor's refresh rate) even tho the settings were the same before. Thanks dude!
Yo! Just so you know, the guy who works on the Profiling branch currently recommends using DEFAULT parameters. No CPU count, no hyperthreading, etc. Turning on hyperthreading may be helpful in the future, but not currently.
if u set the max prerendered frames to 1 it does not matter what you write in the detected frames section . The default max is 1000 and thats the only way that 2 detected frames could work . Both need to be 1 in this case .
If you are playing JSOC servers, large online servers - just be aware this will make barely and difference - got nothing to do with your side. This is for single player - big disclaimer you should have mentioned. For example, the biggest killer of all is view distances. On a busy server, I can go from 1km, to 10km view distance and the FPS difference is 1-3 FPS on a 4070ti.
Awesome quick, and complete tutorial to increase performance for real, thanks man! About the ISLC, would be better to lower the value set on "free memory is lower than" ? To like 1/3 of your total memory for example?

Great guide I hope you do something similar for Arma 5
Arma 5?! My great grandchildren would be having great grandchildren by then 😄
Went from 60 to 219 FPS without the final few mods. Amazed!!!
Glad you're enjoying it
Thank you so much❤ very helpful 👍
From almost 40 fps in game, to almost 90 fps, tweaking video options, parameters and using process lasso. GG
great to hear! thanks for the feedback
As someone who plays Arma 3 way to much I have yet to watch the vid but, I know it will be good.
Oh my god this actually worked for me and i have a low end pc, 24 fps to 60 average thanks man
Love it! We don't waste your time on this channel.
Mind sharing your PC specs?
@@nannertime CPU: Intel i7-3770 3.40 GHZ CPU
GPU: GT 710
Memory: 16 GB RAM DDR3
Pretty old but somehow still able to run arma
What methods did you try?
@@MultiNacho8 Everything except the super low graphics.
Phew! that is pretty dang old! Thanks for sharing. Glad you can play :)
oh damn, got my pc back from bestbuy and all of my settings are gone. this really helped thank you
See you on the battlefield!
2024 and still works, thank you
Thank you!!💯👊🏻
No problem!!
my settings got boosted for about 20fps using the video settings, profiling, config, cpu priority and standby list cleaner. The launcher config however did drastically decrease my fps by half, even when put in the information correctly according to my specs. For people having troubles, not all steps work accordingly to your pc specs. Keep that in mind!

Nice video...thanks a lot 😀
Most welcome 😊
As soon as I clicked on Auto Detect, my frame rate went up to 180fps (my monitor's refresh rate) even tho the settings were the same before. Thanks dude!
Thanks for sharing. Arma 3 be weird like that.
i did everything like you did, double checked everything, but my fps got sooooo worst, went from 50/60 to 5/10
@@davideantoniazzi4172 You must have some special powers to make the fps go down and not up 💀

@@davideantoniazzi4172 cool.
Thanks for your input!
The best part is i watched the entire video to just solve my lagg on servers :)
Awesome quick, and complete tutorial to increase performance for real, thanks man! About the ISLC, would be better to lower the value set on "free memory is lower than" ? To like 1/3 of your total memory for example?
arma 3 is so wonky, so I would tinker withbit if you think RAM is an issue for you.
This tutorial saved me i went from 40 fps to 300...
This is very poggers at the first part my fps was at 30-60 then it was at 70-114
Glad to hear!
