Edit: This comment was made before the release of both the leaked version and the first developer preview of windows 11.
And the curves, but we'll see what microsoft has for us at 24th. Maybe they were following all the concept designs to get the best front end experience!

@Mikropro 2.0 or could just make another shell that would have that theme and run instead of Windows Explorer, there would not be even the need to replace system files (change one registry value to switch the shell)

They will still update windows and change the way it looks and works. They're not planning on releasing a new version of windows that you would have to upgrade to because updates can happen in small chunks every few months now. That doesn't mean windows isn't evolving and changing.

just forcefully delete qmgr.dll and wuaueng.dll from system32 using Unlocker, and you won't ever see the windows update ever again, and disable the Updateorchestor service as well.

@Laxman Dhotre While you may be right, a revamp like this doesn't really change any fundamental features, its really just a reskin, it would be totally possible for Microsoft to do this. It would be different if he added new features, like he did in his windows 20 video, but this is 100% possible, and hiring him would be a good move on windows part.

altho this is a joke its just a ui with smooth edges and smooth animations, which will be a pain on startup if youre on a low-end PC but should be disable-able and easy to manage with

I'd use it
well, you can always learn how to reskin Windows yourself and then use software to modify the windows shell. Though, I haven't seen custom themes very popular in Win10, but there were gazillion different interesting ones for Win7, probably even something similar to this one + if you apply rainmeter etc. features
