Bella is beautiful and she looks so happy and comfortable after getting rid of all that hair. I hope her owners return Bela to you for grooming . I know the facial fringe is a traditional thing but personally I would have removed it to let all her hair catch up together. Thank you explaining everything and taking great care of her. I once knew a sheepdog that was cut like a poodle. It makes sense because the hair covered his eyes to protect them from the harsh southern sun. It may have looked a little weird, but it had a practical reason.

I know she feels better.❤I love the work you do to help these dogs. I must say that I do not like the facial hair left long. It isn't logical to leave the face hair long on a dog that is not groomed regularly. She will quickly have a dirty, matted face.

What I love the most is seeing how she relaxes during her grooming. It's such a beautiful transformation in every respect! One question: don't for like this get cold when they're shaved like this? I know their beautiful coats grow back, but it must be cold for a while! 🥴🥰
Thank you for support 🥰 no, we are not grooming those dogs when it's cold outside. Most of them are shaved from April til October. During the winter - nobody wants to shave them and we agree with the owner about that. 🙂

I admire how you treat the dogs (animals in genral) and I´m for sure that the dogs get a warmhearted feeling when you touch the dog - much better than some owners. When I have an animal I must take care for the dog, and I must be responsable for the dog. I have had 2 "girl-dogs" from 1976 until 2007 - and when I remember them still today I get tears in my eyes.
What are you doing with all the hair? Filling in little teddy-bears for being a toy?

I have to groom my dog almost every 2 weeks. I realise that it is not easy for me and for my pet because I dont have good tools. What woukd you recommend for home grooming. my dog is a mixed poodle ans coton de tulear and his fur grows very fast, is fluffy and dense. I paid my tools 30$ on Amazon. thank you.
I'm not sure on leaving the facial hair on this Puli. I realize they are corded dogs, and there is a logic to twisting/trimming the cords correctly.
Would it have been better to clip it all off and start over? Is this what the owners wanted? The cords seem more frizzy/clumpy than twisted. Does the twist happen naturally or is that something the owners/groomers have to maintain?

That is a very nice groom, but I feel the dogs head should have also been shaved. The owner does not look after the dog so the head will be badly matted again in no time. No offence meant just my opinion.

My guess is that it was from anxiety. The way she was quickly and repeatedly licking her lips was also from anxiety.
You should have pictures on your phone for every breed of corded dog breeds and what a well-maintained well-groomed dog should look like. People think these coats need no maintenance but the opposite is true.
Should look not dirty, cords aren't stuck together and there's no fleas and/or ticks

You are an excellent groomer! I have a 14 year old shin Tzu that hates being dried with a dryer. Do you think it would be a good investment in a regular dog dryer instead of just trying to dry her with a regular hair dryer? She runs and hides and end up looking stringy!
Maybe she doesn't like the sound? You could try covering her ears. If you're familiar with girl with the dogs, I think she sells happy hoodies. Hopefully you don't have the blow dryer set too high, put it on low or no heat setting and don't put it super close to her
Unlike many comments about not liking the hair on her face left long, i do like it. She's perfectly capable of seeing as the cords and hair move when she moves, allowing vision. Personally, i would have evened out the cords, but i think the style works great for this dog.
Yeah, don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with being concerned for a dogs well being, but people need to actually do research before jumping down someone's throat.

Why was the hair on the dogs face not trimmed? I know the owner did not want it shaved but it could have been untangled and trimmed. On the video I could see small black pieces of dirt in the dogs face, this is not good for the dog. Also the dogs hair should be corded or brushed out the hair left on its face was not. Since this owner does not groom his dog it was not a good idea to leave the hair so long. This dogs face is going to smell terrible in a very short time.
