Gotta agree with you on dark twists in modern magical girl anime. I love Madoka so SO much, but most of the anime that have tried to replicate its success come across as needlessly edgy and shallow.

Ya gal Jackie comin at you with the space facts. The Pleiades are a star cluster in the constellation of Taurus and in Japanese it translates to, you guessed it! Subaru! The Subaru logo is actually a simplified version of the cluster. The Pleiades were a group of seven sisters in Greek mythology, hence the number of girls in the squad.
I also have a really strong scrip for my vision (worse than yours even!) and my eye doc told me not to order online because with really high scrips they can be easy to mess up. Might be different for me bc I also have a slight astigmatism? Anyway I totally ignored his advice and ordered two pairs from Firmoo and they are *so so terrible* and now I'm out $120 because their return process is so convoluted. The frames are great, but the lenses got my scrip so wrong it's not funny! My fiancé who has a pretty low prescription has had a great experience ordering online but I don't think I'll be doing it again. :(
fizzfizzbang you could try taking the lenses to your local eye glass place and seeing if they either have any lens in that shape or if they could make them in the shape to fit the frames in your prescription. I know my place, they did that for me when my prescription changed but my current frames were still good and I didn’t buy them from there but they were able to make new lenses for me

Love the glasses but you really need the anti-glare~! I hope you keep trying them~ you're eyes are cute and they don't look too big. I have big glasses and they offset that a bit, smaller glasses will make your eyes look huge. You should check out clearlycontacts~! Anyways, another good anime is Mahoutsukai no Yome! Not your style but it's wonderful to watch with a cup of tea.
In my personal opinion, I love it when anime takes a dark turn. If it gets too happy I tend to get kind of bored. Then again, I’m just a sucker of AGNST. Lol I love your favorite videos tho, they are always my fav videos of yours to watch. :) I really want to try the peppermint tea you mentioned, it sounds so yummy with how you described it. ❤️

sometimes my glasses i order online give me a headache bc of the ear pieces are bent weird.. where i live if you take them to the eyedoctor they can bend them for you to be more comfy. maybe try that? :)

Hey Pixie! Idk if you’re looking for new anime, but I highly recommend houseki no kuni! The protag is a lot like Akko, and it’s super pretty, fully cgi and beautifully animated (it does get a bit grim later on, but it doesn’t lose ALL happiness) also I think you would really really like Diamond, they’re a colorful sweetie with rainbow hair like you
Chase Tona cgi sucks 😭 it ruined Winx club for me when I was a kid 😂 literally stopped watching it due to disgust lol
I normally don’t care for cgi too much (I find it a bit jarring), but Houseki no Kuni has some of the most beautiful cgi I’ve seen in an anime! The art style really lends itself to it✨💕
Jean Sat the cgi in hnk is extremely well done, and they blend it seamlessly with 2d when the details needed are too soft or precise for cg. Sorry it ruined a show you like, but poorly done cg isn’t an excuse to talk badly about the style across the board, especially in a show you haven’t seen!

You need to wear glasses longer than 1/2 hours to get used to them I had to wear mine everyday for a month before I could go without them for like a day or two and then put them back on and see just fine
P.s. I love your glasses and the way they make your eyes look it helps show off the beautiful eyeshadow and Glitters that you use also kind of makes you look like an anime girl just saying.

Those glasses are adorable but be careful ordering such a strong prescription online! I also had a very strong prescription (the opposite direction of yours haha) and the lenses have to fit exactly to your eyeshape. Over time it can cause your eyes to turn if it’s not fit properly! Take them to your optical shop and have them check just to make sure everything is good!
