C418 is not that stupid when creating his music, he has a reason why there's a second half. The first half represents how minecraft can be quite an emotional game or something like that, while the other represents that after all that-- minecraft is still a silly little game. You’re the only being in the world capable of what you do, and it’s a bit dark if you think about it, but the second half shows you that that loneliness isn’t all bad, because it means you get the chance to do something you would never be able to with others judging you: let your creativity run wild. You can build whatever you want, go wherever you want, and do whatever dumb shit you want BECAUSE you are alone. It’s an interesting piece to analyze

It’s crazy to think that a game like Minecraft become a memory, who knew all those Fun times were soon going to be memories, I miss those old times but I’m glad I grew up with it, I wish I could go back in time, not just to change things in the past, but to relive moments, I just want to feel them again one last time when I was the happiest, i wish I could see my childhood self having fun and not knowing he’ll never have this moment again probably, its sad to think that but it’s the way life goes, I’m happy my childhood was good, not the best but I was happy thank you Minecraft and other games that made my childhood :’)
If you really think about it. The premise of this song is to make you feel a way you’ve never felt before. The title being “Mice On Venus” really conveys how you would feel. A group of mice just prancing around and being young, and that’s the feeling we get when we first started playing. It’s just so weird how something like this can convey so much feelings. Although the meaning of the title I gave was a bit out of hand, it felt correct, and us looking back on our previous adventures made us feel how lucky we were to have a nice place to grow up. That’s it from me.
This soundtrack reminds me of when I was 5yrs old (nearly 6) when my best friend Aiden Tilbrook introduced me to Minecraft, before then I was playing baby games. This was my first real game. It reminds me of a life It starts out all fuzzy and new, then it begins to shape into a tune, slowly but surely. I listen to this while going through my friends list on multiple games/social apps: discord, fortnite, Xbox etc. While I go through them I remember the days I played with a certain person just by their username. I remember their voice, how bad we were but we played for fun, and how it felt when one of us had to get off. Little did I know that one day both of us would never see eachother again. I go through these names while wiping my friends list but I leave their names alone. I have this vague hope in my heart that maybe, just maybe they'll hop back on for a bit and we can play one last session of games together, but I don't think that will be the case. I will continue to leave their names on my friends list just in case. I listen to this as I digest the news of technoblade's passing,and I get tears in my eyes becausw of how it fitted so well,and that this was played while techno was making fun of homeless dream. Sometimes,when i listen to this,I will wonder what happens after death.Do our consciousnesses simply cease to exist?or is there really a sort of afterlife,a heaven or hell?I hope it's the latter,because it means that techno can finally put his mind to rest up there,and be rewarded for his good work in some way besides non-existence.
I've always loved hearing the first part of this song... it is just so beautiful and every time I hear it in the new version, I remember the days of playing Minecraft on the PS3 and the old legacy consoles, and I look back on all the memories I had for so many years of playing old 2011 Minecraft. It fills me with nostalgia... but then as the song went on, I then looked forward, to where Minecraft is now, with the great cliffs and giant caves and the greatest scenery that magically generates to a new style each time you create a new world... 2011 me would never have dreamed that Minecraft would become the thing it is today. And it fills me with happiness and excitement, awaiting where Mojang goes next. And this all happens in the span of almost 3 minutes of pure emotions that are such nice feelings. But every time I heard the actual song, the "second part" after this beautiful melody just doesn't sit right, and me being a musician, I know that the second part has a different vibe altogether, and it just doesn't fit. But having had someone cut it down to this, it keeps bringing back these nice memories of the old version, and I am thankful for that. I feel like I speak these words on the behalf of everyone: Minecraft truly is a timeless, amazing masterpiece. hearing this song floods me with memories. specifically of the tu11 tutorial world. my first experience with the game. i loved this game. even though it scared me. i was 6 or 7 years old. i'd been playing video games for 2 or 3 years at this point, and lego games were starting to get boring. so my parents bought me something new. MINECRAFT!!! the game was strange. but i liked it. i opened up the game, put it in my xbox 360 and loaded up the tutorial world. i played. i had fun. i made my own world. i built a diamond tower. i built an alien, i used item frames with blocks for eyes, it looked like it blinked so i destroyed it. i built a HUUUUUUGE skeleton and spawned squids on top. they could fly for some reason. these are just a few moments that come to mind. but i love them. and i hope one day you find a sense of nostalgia in this game too.

I listen to this as I digest the news of technoblade's passing,and I get tears in my eyes becausw of how it fitted so well,and that this was played while techno was making fun of homeless dream. Sometimes,when i listen to this,I will wonder what happens after death.Do our consciousnesses simply cease to exist?or is there really a sort of afterlife,a heaven or hell?I hope it's the latter,because it means that techno can finally put his mind to rest up there,and be rewarded for his good work in some way besides non-existence.

I've always loved hearing the first part of this song... it is just so beautiful and every time I hear it in the new version, I remember the days of playing Minecraft on the PS3 and the old legacy consoles, and I look back on all the memories I had for so many years of playing old 2011 Minecraft. It fills me with nostalgia... but then as the song went on, I then looked forward, to where Minecraft is now, with the great cliffs and giant caves and the greatest scenery that magically generates to a new style each time you create a new world... 2011 me would never have dreamed that Minecraft would become the thing it is today. And it fills me with happiness and excitement, awaiting where Mojang goes next. And this all happens in the span of almost 3 minutes of pure emotions that are such nice feelings.
But every time I heard the actual song, the "second part" after this beautiful melody just doesn't sit right, and me being a musician, I know that the second part has a different vibe altogether, and it just doesn't fit.
But having had someone cut it down to this, it keeps bringing back these nice memories of the old version, and I am thankful for that.
I feel like I speak these words on the behalf of everyone: Minecraft truly is a timeless, amazing masterpiece. And everyone may say that Sweden is the best, iconic song of Minecraft, and sure, it is iconic, but it doesn't top Mice On Venus Part 1.

this song makes me remember all the people I played with on my old Xbox, all the memories they gave me, they taught me my personality, they taught me how to act, they taught me how to have emotions, I remember I had a friend named JoJo slayer, we always played Minecraft and built houses, I remember my friends telling me to date her and I always got mad, but I did actually like her, so one day I made a whole map on Minecraft saying that a liked her, but she never came back on, 1-2 years of playing games by myself, I quit Xbox and gave it to my brother, I barely ever go on Xbox now, all I think now is all the memories I had with all my friends on there, as I grew up there. all my friends never came on either, there was finally no reason to play my Xbox anymore, all my friends I had were just gone. I regret leaving without telling them. I came back one week after I quit to see JoJo slayer had texted me on the day I quit to have a happy new year (which was the day I quit). i cried knowing that i could've at least talked to her, one more time...
hearing this song floods me with memories. specifically of the tu11 tutorial world. my first experience with the game. i loved this game. even though it scared me. i was 6 or 7 years old. i'd been playing video games for 2 or 3 years at this point, and lego games were starting to get boring. so my parents bought me something new. MINECRAFT!!! the game was strange. but i liked it. i opened up the game, put it in my xbox 360 and loaded up the tutorial world. i played. i had fun. i made my own world. i built a diamond tower. i built an alien, i used item frames with blocks for eyes, it looked like it blinked so i destroyed it. i built a HUUUUUUGE skeleton and spawned squids on top. they could fly for some reason. these are just a few moments that come to mind. but i love them. and i hope one day you find a sense of nostalgia in this game too.
