I wish I had seen this in theaters, because even if it was a box-office failure, it would have been worth it. Great cast, story, visuals, and score. Hugh Jackman portrayed Blackbeard to perfection, and Levi Miller deserves to be in film. In a few years, if he can master an American accent and one of my books gets optioned for a film…maybe I could use him in the main role.

And I remember coming back to it for a while back then thinking, this is going to blow up after a while, here I am 5 years later checking in after a nostalgia trip at half a million.
