Say what u want about Zack but he is a director of vision unique to himself. The opening scene is something you will never find in a marvel movie. It has got its own tone and atmosphere. Many people wonder why can't Zack Snyder make the movie as light as marvel. But that's because as a director of that caliber, they stay true to their vision, that's their signature in the film industry. Respect to him for sticking to his guns in times like this.
Guy Randomized Film wasn't good périod, don't say that he stayed true to his vision when he didn't finish the movie or cut it . The Guy from the first avenger did and that explains why the movie looks like it's half finished. No disrespect to Snyder tho, he's à good director things just didn't go his way and he had to leave the set for personal reasons

AnutDraws That's like hiring the accompanist without the star singer. Junkie had nothing on Zimmer and couldn't do it without him. That's why they hired Danny Elfman. He was more accomplished. The results vary from person to person. You think it sounds generic. I think it sounds great, especially on repeated listenings. But it was the fact that Elfman had more hits, and more experience, that he replaced Junkie. Well that, and the fact that Junkie was working on Tomb Raider.
XL couldn't do anything without Zimmerman? You must be kidding me, go check Mad Max: Fury Road dude. Junkie was capable to do it but they didn't give him any chance. Whole WB plans for DC movie universe depends on how JL will do, they didn't want to risk, they took ez, safe way and just hired known, more experienced artist. I'd rather have Junkie than Elfman, as much as I love his Batman and Spiderman osts he just doesn't fit to this version of DC universe. He still lives with his old Batman and Reeves Superman osts. You can hear their motives in JL OST tracks, heh, not even those two, if You're familiar with his Spiderman and Avengers osts You will hear them too and for me is just totally idiotic. I wanted ORIGINAL soundtrack for THIS SPECIAL movie for ALL DC Comics fans, duh.
No he didn't. This is Zack Snyder. He's a huge fan of Leonard Cohen and uses it in a lot of his movies. Watchmen is one big example. Stop spreading bullshit. Elfman had nothing to do with this, Come Together, Icky Thump, and Heroes are all Snyder. And they were in every single trailer before Elfman even made the soundtrack.

The best superhero movie opening
One of the best DCEU tracks ever used. Gives me chill and feels on my 1st and second viewing. Unfortunately the rest of JL tracks falls flat and familiar. It could have used more JunkieXL in the end. Warner Bros. Pictures Please release the original Snyder version with JunkieXL score.

I agree. BvS and MOS' overly rotten scores are ridiculous.
What I do care about, however, is that JL does well at the Box Office and horrible critic scores will hurt the movie.
You want an example of bad movies getting good score at rotten tomatoes go loocking for the score of the new ghotsbusters movie.
