Thanks for the great podcast! Really interesting, Bryan Gee comes across as a top bloke. V definitely doesn't get the respect it deserves as the amazing and legendary label it is.
Wow what a top bloke Bryan Gee is... he’s spot on about that DnB Arena doc as well which missed loads of bits out and focused on a load of pop- drum and bass instead. Great podcast and project
Big up Bryan for honestly criticising the Drum&BassArena documentary on the so called history of DNB. It should have been several episodes going through the years forensically in chronological order. They crammed a select few parts and made bodged effort. Can't believe they didn't even mention Kool FM and neglected pirate radio and legends like yourself and Mickey Finn. The list goes on.
Wicked part one interview!!!! Such great bloke I enjoyed listening to that. His contribution to the scene was immense. Maximum respect!!! Always religiously locked on to his sets after Brockie & Det on Kool FM.
This channel really makes my life better, thanks Tom mate, I gave a donation on your go fund me, only small but its some thing n I hope it helps, and thanks to all the djs taking part giving us the memories that created the scene we all know and love. What great stories! Keep it up! \0/ x
Excellent podcast. Well done Bryan for telling it as it is. Top guy too, having met in person over the years. Big up Bar Rumba ravers. Please can we interview: MC Moose SS Gachet Dillinjah Juiceman Bassman Ratty
@ROAR Yep that’s my boy, Bryan G. I saved the best till last. As Bryan always comes with wise word of experience and wisdom. I’ve really been enjoying listening and watching all of these interviews. And I’ve had some cool answers back on the comments, which has been great. Thanks to all those who have reached out. Big up yourselves and stay safe in these hard times.
Really interesting insight from Bryan G, especially about being shunned from the Drum & Bass Arena: The Movement doc. That was a proper piss take from them.
Thanks mate! We are doing a funding drive so be great if you could support us to create even more! Patreon.com/ROARUKPods or on PayPal via roaruk.com. x
Real talker! There's been too many lies about the history of Jungle / D&B - who started it etc... Even Grooverider and Fabio have distorted the history!
Its a shame that the lesser known artists are really struggling during this period. And there’s so many talented DJs out there but the star chasers are killing the business - and a lot of the black mans in the scene gave a lot of these people a leg up, likewise, its a two way street. But the idiots in it now are killing the business
yep deluding the youngsters in the hardcore scene too some artists now labelling their tunes as happy hardcore when any educated raver or producer knows it was a nineties thing with its own sound

Bryan G you’re such a legend. I was honoured to warm up for you a few times back in the mid-late 90s. You always draw the best tunes. V forever!

MC Moose

Did gachet destroy the jungle scene with his utterly demonic dark side tunes?

Now I understand the Dillinja connection with them both coming from Brixton.
Carl (Dillinja) was a younger that lived on the street behind Bryan
