Welcome to Form Fight! In this series we take a look at Pokemon with more than one form, Pokemon with branched evolutions or even counterpart pokemon, have a look at the differences between this Pokemon and try and decide which one is the best!
So we can see these Pokemon in action on the battlefield, we also have a Metronome battle between those Pokemon - but just for a little bit of fun!

For the sleeping mon avoiding thing I always picture that at the last second the sleeping mon just rolls over causing the attack to miss lol

Quick note about Kleavor, we will get HA Kleavor as soon as it’s transferable into gen 9 cause Ability Patches exist.
Maybe they will all get their hidden ability like it was when you transfered pokémon from the virtual consol to home since in both games they don't have abilities to begin with

@@Kev.in1997 PLA mons are already transferable out of the game and into Home, and based on that they do not get their HA.

Shouldn‘t it theoretically be possible to acquire a HA Scyther in Gen 9, transfer that to PLA once Home accessibility is there, evolve said Scyther in PLA and then transfer back the Kleavor?
@@GamerJulian94 usually you are unable to transfer mons from a later gen back to a previous gen
However, I suppose we’ll be able to confirm once Home releases

Technically speaking, Scyther, Scizor and Kleavor are all different forms of the same pokemon since they share the same BST
however, only scyther can use eviolite. :)

Scizor: Iron Pincer (Future Scyther)
Kleavor: Stone Blade (Ancient Scyther)
It's a rough toss-up for me, because Scizor is such a classic cool 'Mon, sleek look and design, and has always been one of my favorite Bug-types, but Kleavor literally has GIANT AXES FOR HANDS, so you can see the bind I'm in 😅

Scyther should have a third evolution since Scizor is Scissor and Kleavor is Rock. The Third evo should be a Paper evolution with a Grass/Bug typing and named Slashor

Definitely a Kleavor fan, I was very excited to use one in Legends Arceus, and even though it kind of died a lot, it was still a good teammate, and is one of my favorite Pokémon
I'd like to use it, myself. A strong offensive rock type is nice.
Scizor has always been my favourite bug type, I find myself using it whenever I get the opportunity. It’s typing is clearly superior 💪

Both Scizor and Kleavor are great! I feel like Im actually leaning towards Kleavor though. Both their shinies are clean as well and I love green. Each fit their own design.
About Kleavor having a beard. It's because he's based on the Samurai Warrior: Shibata Katsuie. Who is always portrayed with a similar beard.

I remember when scissor was the most played Pokémon in competitive battles. Really made me fear priority attacks and pursuit users cause it felt like a crap shoot whether I was going to get revenge killed before landing a hit or get picked off while trying to switch out.
It's Salamence's fault. Scizor was used as much as it was because it was one of the best offensive checks to it. Its usage dropped once Mence was banned to Ubers. The added utility of Pursuit and U-Turn also helps. Bug/Steel is just amazing typing.
Kleavor really is proto-Scizor. Naturally Scizor is just better.
Very happy Scizor won! Definitely my favorite of Scyther's evolutions.
While I haven't obtained my own copy of Legends Arceus, I like Scizor more in terms of design.
In previous games, I wasn't a fan of shiny Scizor's coloration. I wished that it was black. However, in Scarlet & Violet, shiny Scizor looks good.
Scizor has always had a place in my heart even though I really love Kleavor

Scissor is my favorite in Pokémon to use competitive Pokémon battles in the future.
Scizor is both my favorite Johto and bug type Pokèmon.
Kleavor is both my favorite Hisui and rock type Pokèmon

Thanks as ever for these, always a good watch. Only issue I have is now I want to go back and 100% PLA...darn work getting in the way again.
Gameplay wise, these two play very different. Kleavor is your lead, getting stealth rocks up that opponents can’t block with Gholdengo or magic bounce. Scizor, on the other hand, is a finisher with bullet punch and swords dance.
The two play pretty nicely together on the same team.
I'm biased to Steel as it's my favorite type, and Scizor just looks amazing(opinion), but Kleavor is still hella cool.
How ironic that a team of 4X Fire weak Pokémon defeated an Axe Pokémon with both an Axe and Fire.
I absolutely love Kleavor far more than Scizor. There's just something about it being just that bit faster and it's design looking so great that gets me

Scizor all the way. Its design is cooler, its type combination is better, and I would absolutely use one in games other than Legends: Arceus if it weren't a trade evolution.
In arceus trade evos didn't require trading

Scizor is my favourite Pokémon so I'm kind of biased.
Klevor is cool having a move that set's up entry hazard's which can also be used for damage is something really cool and we have never seen before

In case of scizor you just add steel type to scyther by removing flying type though it can have some flying type moves, just changing it
Same applies to kleavor just into rock type

Hearing an Al Snow reference in a Pokémon video is a pleasant surprise
Goes to show how good an ability Technician is. All those moves served up by the Metronome tended to pack lower power, so Scizor gets a lot out of them.

Moveslot syndrome and I don't think Quick Attack is that great on Scizor anyway. A resisted Bullet Punch isn't that much weaker than it.
I’m split on this on, defensively Scisor is better, even offensively it also beats Kleavor, but against other Pokémon I think Kleavor has the edge.

Personally, I... honestly dont really have a preference. I mostly like both Scizor and Kleavor, but Scizor falls behind overall for me since it's so simple. I know that's not its fault cause it's just an early Pokémon, but that doesn't make me like it more. I like Kleavor's design more overall, but the head is a problem. I really dont like when Pokémon have human hair. I get that it's a samurai haircut, so I'm actually okay with the top.. rock? But whatever, cause the beard and unibrow are downright strange. It does work to make it lookmore gruff and aggressive, but still. I love both designs, but they both have their own shortcomings, so I just can't pick. Sharpness Kleavor does sound fun, though.
If your choosing the evolution you should pick cleaver since Scissors base stat total is the same as scyther it just has better abilities and stuff making it a evolution
I don’t hate scizor but in my opinion kleavor looks cooler and scizor is a bit overrated.
Honestly, if I had to pick I would just say Scyther is my favorite of the evolutionary line. I like them all okay but it's definitely my favorite.

I know it’s compatible but but I figured not until Home will be compatible with Gen 9
Home for Scarlet and Violet will be available this spring, so when Kleavor can be transferred, ability patch dude.
Why is Light Metal a thing that exists in the same world as Heat Crash?
To be fair, it could reduce damage taken from Low Kick but here, yeah, it's pretty useless since Scizor isn't weak to the move for one, and it doesn't take a whole lot of damage from it either.
Scythers evos have the same base Stat total as scyther and it bugs me and drives me to not like them
This depends which game you are playing in legends arceus cleaver is better but scarlet or violet I recommend scizzot
I don't particularly care for any of the scyther evolutions personally. Kleavor is the worst looking of all the pokemon added in Legends and I just never liked that Scizor was red or that it changed the cool blade arms for crab claws.
Klevour is such a cool pokemon in my opinion

I personally prefer Kleavor as it actually looks like an evolution for Scyther. Scizor is ok, but I honestly had no idea it was an evolution of a Pokemon, when I first saw it, let alone Scyther! The crab claws are super weird too. Sharp blades to a clamp is a strange progression.

@@Kev.in1997 ya it’s dumb that Kleavor evolves form a regular Sychter and not available in the game it will in Home.
Scizor is my favorite Pokémon of all time, so I’m glad it won. But Kleavor is outstanding in its own right, and I’m excited to see it in game later on.
