Hi Leon. How beautiful. So peaceful now., and so crazy in the past. I am glad that the beautiful houses are safed from the war. Thanks for this video. Have a wonderful weekend. See you next week xxx
@@shabbymoniquebrocante4923 thank you - it might have seemed calm but I have never seen so many tourists in one town! According to the locals they're haunting Arsène Lupin's hangouts. I had to park the rented car abt 2 kilometres outside the town as parking fees were outrageously expensive. But still worth the visit, especially for seeing and hearing the sea again 🙂 🤗💐💛💐🤗
What a beautiful town. So glad the older architecture wasn't destroyed during the war and what was had to have been heartbreaking. The clffs are amazing and the coves so serene. Thank you for taking us on your trip.
@@kristinedunkleman8767 thank you for your comment - apart from the bad weather the town was a joy to visit. So sad about some of the old buildings destroyed. Bon week-end 💐🌟🌺🌟💐
Such a pretty town, with very interesting architecture! The falaises were stunning. I loved how you could see all the layers in them. I’m looking forward to more of your séjour en Normandie! 👍
What a beautiful place. I liked the way that the huge vertical wooden beam was so shiny: it looked as if it had been polished. Maybe it was thousands of hands stroking it that made so smooth and shiny. Here in England we have a ‘door’ in the cliffs in Dorset and it’s name is Durdle Door. This was yet another poignant, atmospheric and beautiful video, as usual with sensitive, appropriate music. I am looking forward to Arsene Lupin about whom I have read. So, once more looking forward to the next LEONSDAY . .. . . .. . . .
@@pamelamason6372 thank you for the kind words. It is beautiful place but swamped with tourists (mostly looking for Arsène Lupin) and bad weather. Still absolutely worth a visit! 🤗💛🤗
How lovely! The deeply recessed windows in the older buildings were so interesting. Even the half-timbered buildings seemed different from those in Limoges. I am very curious about next week's mystery!
@@lawrencebaker2318 I found the architecture far more British or rather influenced by them, Normandy being closer to the UK. It was by accident that I came across next week's mystery 🙂 Bon week-end Larry 🌟🎶🤗🎶🌟
Bonjour Leon. What a lovely place you have shared with 🎉us. I wonder with all the mines that layed on the beavh. how many are not found. Merci beaucoup Leon for sharing ❤❤ On Bon journee x
@@annettesharrock1236 merci 🤗 The beach has been thoroughly cleaned from all the mines - with so many tourists visiting Étretat it had to be done I'm sure. Bonne journée 🌟💛🌟
