QubicaAMF machines really have springy sideboards and cushions. I miss bowling on them. Meanwhile GS-X machines make me think they apply Gorilla Glue to the sidewalls and ball crash barrier.
It’s because the curtain on the Brunswick GS-Series Pinsetters was separated from the Pit Cushion, meanwhile the Brunswick “A” Series and AMF Pinspotters had their curtain connected to the cushion.
There exists a video of a random guy, where the pin stops right at the foul line and you can hear in the background, that he is allowed to keep the pin.^^
A similar thing happened at my dad’s league night where a pin got stuck in the ball return and got pushed all the way back to almost the ball rack. The mechanic had to pull up the floorboards to get it out and gave the pin to the guy that caused the mess

I mean GS-X pinsetters are still possible to bounce out of if you hit it hard enough. I’ve spared the 7-10 multiple times on the ones at my center
AYYY, I can't believe I have seen the ten pin bowling show again. I grew up watching it. (It's an Australian show)

Is it because pinsetter do its job too slow
Sometimes
Some machines have inverted cushions
It’s always Tommy Jones lol….
He sure is good at knocking pins past the sweeper!
Can't the bowlers just do what they do in candlepin, and just use a ball to clear the channel without penalty? o.o
yes but its a waste of time.
they do
Lol
